- The vehicles are constantly changing between carts, boats, and planes. I'd prefer riding just 1 vehicle per race on any track.
- Hard to get the game to even run. I had to turn down the settings and go into windowed mode despite running on a PC that is way powerful enough to run this game
- It says it supports 1400p but the screen just becomes off centered and glitches out

This PC port is pretty busted, and that's a shame as I absolutely loved this game on PS3. I suggest getting this game on any other console if you can (except 3DS, that version is kinda mehh).

If the game won't start, try this: open the launcher and change settings from fullscreen to fullscreen/windowed.

Fun game, more difficult than I expected. Air controls feel funky but that's probably a skill issue.

bought for 5 bucks and had at least 5 hours of good gaming times. well worth it for the price. single player campaign is good (unlocking characters fun), online play still active (at least now while its on sale), plenty of tracks, lots of variation, sense of speed good, game mechanics polished.

only downside is the ranked play is kinda brutal, hard to get points and show any kind of success if youre not constantly in the top 3 (which for me at least is difficult). For a 12 year old game though, good as balls stuff. Hope CrossWorlds is even slightly as fun

Near perfect kart racer. Tight controls, great tracks, amazing music, and a good variety of content in both single player and multiplayer. Character selection is a little odd, not bad though.

World Tour stands out as a very fun campaign mode full of races and missions to complete to unlock characters and tracks. Even better is the fact it can be played in splitscreen.

All these years later this game is still really good in both its single player and multiplayer offerings. Goes on sale often and is amazing for a multiplayer game night, or if you want to grind out a kart racer campaign :P

However people may be having a problem with and error on boot.
Right click the games launcher in the files and change the compatibility to windows 7 and make sure you don't have controllers plugged in while booting. This should fix the error.

I couldn't even play this, the game just kept crashing right after title screen. I ended up just giving up and getting a refund.

Totally broken now, can't even launch it I keep getting an error. Many other people are also experiencing this issue, sucks because this is one of the best cart racers ever. But until they fix it, I cannot recommend buying it as of right now.

Been playing this game to prepare for the release of crossworlds and let me tell ya, it was nostalgic playing through this again. I'm surprised at how many things I remember from this game as I kept playing bc I always thought I sucked at video games when I was younger lol.

Anyway this game still holds up even today, I highly recommend giving it a try before crossworlds comes out!

Over a decade+ later and I still consider this the best kart racer of all time. This "I love you Sega!" effort still holds up well. Absolute masterpiece and labour of love to Sega and their iconic IPs. If only we had something similar to this on Dreamcast.

mario cart has competition, if sonic crossworlds is just as good as this racing game, 9/10 flat out near perfect racing game.

I feel this game is slept on a little bit. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Collection is a bit of a mouthful of a name, and the gameplay in this kart racer is not groundbreaking. But it is a solid addition to the genre. Enjoyable to play alone or especially split screen. Controls feel snappy, the tracks are well designed and the characters are likable. The whole experience is just a overall good and fun time. I think it's worth the $19.99 if you are currently on the couch with a friend looking for a game to play. Otherwise, the game is regularly on sale for $4.99 - absolutely pick it up at that price.

Probably my favorite racing game ever, between my old Wii U and XBox I've probably got more hours in this game than Mario Kart. I WOULD say "You should totally get this!", if the game wasn't completely broken on Windows. Won't run at all. It did work for a while when I first got it, but now its dead. I don't see this getting fixed, with their focus on their new racing game, which is a huge shame. Sad.

The tracks are well designed and fun to race on, the karts, boats and planes all feel good to control, there's a good amount of characters to choose from, and a really fun single player mode. If you're looking for a looking for a kart racing game that's not Mario Kart, you should definitely consider this one.

Basically a bad sequel to the previous one, the boat controls are garbage, the amazing sega games OST (like The concept of love, from Jet Set Radio and Samba de Janeiro from Samba de Amigo) are GONE, Shadow even lost it's badass bike from his bad testosterone-fueled game. This is really overhyped just because it was famous as the 7th gem mario kart for those who didn't have a wii, the previous one is really better.

The transform mechanic is implemented naturally and doesn't feel forced, making sense for the courses represented. Great for anyone looking for some kart racer fun that's different from Mario kart

This game is good except for the lag for no reason when i play this game there is always lag when i play a race so if you play this game on pc play it on xbox instead it's only $20 and it's a lot better trust me.

This game is just like Mario kart, but with sonic characters and more cooler tracks and items. Its worth buying this game and the collections.

A really fun cart-game with fairly difficult challenges.
The online part is kinda dead but still fun with friends
and alone sometimes to go and play some races.
The game has some performance issues on the PC
version but there are a lots of guides that help you
to fix these issues, so very enjoyable after all.

this game is really fun and has a good amount of characters and a good roster it has the perfect amount of tracks and this game has really good graphics for its time and has low system requirements overall 9/10

The amount of different Sega IPs in this game is awesome. I'm obsessed with The House of the Dead, Samba de Amigo and Panzer Dragoon tracks.

The gameplay is also fun, sometimes challenging when flying though. I've also gotten stuck on a map and haven't had any way to get out once.

A lot of online racing games are plauged with pay-to-win micro transactions or always require online to play. This game doesn't have those issues which I think is important to mention. It's a better alternative if you'd rather spend money once vs constantly having to buy more.

One of the best racing games I've played along with Mario Kart, it's so good I can't even choose a favorite between that franchise and this game, mixing 3 types of vehicles on the same race is pretty unique and gives races a different taste to any other game where you only control a certain type of vehicle.
Definitely recommend it, great controls, gameplay and full of game modes, single player, multiplayer, assorted cast from so many classic SEGA games, it's great.

its was one of the first games that i played as a kid, to finally buy the game again and get ages is heart warming feelling. Its a fun game especially for its age & trying to get ages, it was hard work but it shows how good the game is... its also good for familys & friends

Ah yes... I do indeed turn right at a right hand corner; unlike the Ai, which sees it fit to turn HARD left into a wall, then proceeds to lose the race.


If there is one word to explain the Ai; (The other racers) in this game that word would be “Indecisive”. For example, in the same race you will get shot from two corners back with pinpoint accuracy with no escape. Then later on you will see that same racer catapult themselves off a cliff for your own spectacle. It's like they are trying to convince you that they are not cheating by purposely throwing their own chance of winning right in front of you. All this to say the Ai’s “Rubber Banding” tends backfire epically to your own enjoyment.

game brings back so many memories. i owned the 3DS version and 100% that one. i never got to try out the PC version and i have to say this version is so much better. highly recommend for the nostalgia and gameplay

"installscript.vdf"
and then set
"Launcher.exe" and "ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe"
to run in compatibility mode with Windows 8.

Through this, you can run this game on modern Windows
By the way the game is good. Team Sonic Racing has the potential to be better than Transformed and vice versa. It all depends on whether or not you want to feel the speed with some jank (Transformed) or feel the speed with some polish (Team Racing).

Legitimately better than Mario kart.

Also it has tf2 characters so yeah that immediately makes it amazing.

A pretty good port of the Game to Computer, this a great game that has aged pretty well, besides the inclusion of Danica Patrick, definitely recommend

No longer works at when starting up it will give an error that game is already running even after reistalling the game multiple times and there is no fix either all comments ti fix are all fake, and i was able to play when i bought a while back, i am very dissapointed that there is no fix from the developers.

Evil sonic can suck my left ball, ralph is a fat pig who has zero idea on how to fly a helicopter, hey ralph stick to wrecking things punk. That soviet scum is way to fast to be in this game. Lowkey Amy bad af so that was a positive.
Overall: 1/10 dont recommend if you dont want to scream and cuss in anger to that sun of a gun evil sonic.

If you are bored of the same mario kart formula with no changes try this game because it has car transformations(one game did that in the past)but this game renewed it,the online is very active on pc,and the pc version is the best in graphics and characters
