nice game 5/5 would recommend
I've had a really fun experience with this game. I originally bought it about a year ago and only played it a little because tbh I was pretty bad at it. But - I've been binging Youtube videos about interrogation techniques recently, because....? so I thought why not try it out again? And I've been WAY more successful this time around. It's been really cool to see how different approaches to interrogation would play out in the various scenarios in the game, and it very closely matches what I've seen of the many actual interrogations I've watched by this point. This game gets big points for realism in the area of human behavior imo, which was what I was really looking for here. Overall I'm very satisfied with the game and would recommend it if you're interested in this kind of thing.
The only changes I'd like to see are a couple minor things related to the interface. All the questions you can ask during an interrogation are listed on the right-hand side of the screen in different colors, e.g. basic questions in white, bad cop questions in red, good cop questions in purple, etc. You can right-click on each question to see what type it is, but I'd really like to see a legend that remains on the screen the whole time. There are enough different types of questions that I can't easily remember what color indicates which type of question. Also, in the interrogation case folders you have during each case, maybe there could be a better use of space by displaying things on the left-hand page of the open folder as well (that's currently just a blank page), so that way you'd only have to page through half as many pages when you look at your evidence & suspects. I consider both of these to be minor issues overall though.
Overall I would recommend the game, especially for true crime fans and people interested in human behavior.
Found this game randomly and it was a really fun play, and while some of the interrogations were a little difficult and took a couple tries to get everything right, but overall Its a game I really enjoyed.
