i love the game its very fun plus theres gambling
The music has the perfect tone and energy for what this game is.
The visuals suffer a lot of bloom, and the screen can be a little too busy at times, but death is trivial. They do a good job of cycling through different boss mechanics, so in places it's like a real-time puzzle game... While also still being a side-scrolling platformer and shooter. If "puzzles" aren't what you're looking for, rest assured: Most of the solutions are just bullets and explosions. And fire. Lots of fire.
The environments are fun, there's plenty of variety there, and (again) the music suits them perfectly.
The mix of game styles makes it a bit busy for play with a controller, but ~98% of the time it's a solid way to do things. (In example, wanting to move

a lost gem that i recalled from the dephts of my memory
this game is OLD and has OLD references [like "YOLO"]
but honestly? its fun
the characters have a nice amount of personality and it has nice humor and some not-so-brutal gore
for the fellas that want a platforming game and doom, this is a nice pick
