DirectX error very often. Every time I open the game and play for only 10-30 minutes, a DirectX error occurs.
Please help me fix it.

The game is fun, the team makes the game. You have your basic camper, your glamper's, your RV campers, and that one sneaky SOB that has to level up his knife camo's because hes OCD about it. The other types shall not be named.

- Also lame that because all of the new games are connected via one launcher you can't refund the game because it registers the hours spent in the menu for all COD games vs. the actually COD game you bought.

New maps are sparse, and when introduced, have AI generated textures.
Warzone is on life support, the only reason Call of Duty is even relevant going into the 2020s.
FOMO on gamemodes needs to be shot in the fucking head.

There's a billion other issues from hitreg to lag to crashes to whatever, but who cares.

I bought mw2 and did all the achievements, then they just turned it into a launcher so i lost my perfect game, 0/10 i did that night raid bomb defuse mission with the juggernaut SOLO

Constant DirectX errors despite trying 4 different driver versions, safe mode, graphical settings down to Minecraft quality and even reinstalling the game completely. 4070Ti, 64gb RAM. Please avoid until they patch.

71GB update, only to see absolutely nothing improve. This game is a cash grab at best, AT BEST. The devs of this need to be incarcerated for money laundering and fraud.

the worst game in the world. 1. While normal games do installations or shader building outside the game so that people don't waste time on all sorts of stupid downloads, the developers of this crap think that it's normal in 2025 to download shaders inside the game.
2. Complete idiots think that all players fucking love to pump up new weapons from scratch every 2 months just so that they can somehow fight on equal terms with opponents who apparently live in this game and donate 200 bucks every month.
3. A new Battle Pass is coming out with a fucking prison theme. Did their general manager do time and get out before leading the BP theme or what?

Great Game, But PC players sorry!!.. Not able to play a single match, the game crashes. every time you play the game. it crashes. Developers has never fixed it. Probably Lost a customer

I play this game cause I'm addicted to the CoD franchise, not cause I have fun... cause I normally don't.

If you want to play a game where you grind for camos and operators, then this is the game for you. However, if you are looking for actual game-play, where people are ACTUALLY playing the game-modes as they were intended - AVOID. Call of Duty is no longer what it used to be, it has the chaotic nature of DOOM to simply capture the attention of people - not to really have people engage in the game itself. Quite disappointing to see, especially considering my days back in COD 4 MW, BO2 days - those days people actually had skill. Now, IDK what the hell this is.

Classic 3 lane maps, regurgitating old past maps at nauseam with a lick of paint, skins for sale at every turn, Battle Passes costing more each year and providing less and less, parts of the game still don't work (PC version) as of May 25 following a Oct 24 release date, Every weapon feels the same and does much the same damage to players, pay skins are released which provide unfair assistance to the wearer as it minimises the persons size and makes them extremely difficult to see at distance and against textures.
All in all, another boring edition of COD. where they try fleece as much $$ as they can before spitting out another half backsided version in 12 months to do the same again while charging you more and more each year to do so.
Ive bought every version from the beginning of COD to now and this will be my last. The game has run its course and no effort is going into it from the Devs anymore. Its all about the $$$ for them.

The only reason I play this game is because of my mates, if not for them I wouldn't bother......the game gets allot of lost packets and high latency problems, the weapons are nerfed and if you enjoy having half of your deaths as spawn kills then this is the game for you......so I can't recommend.

I only have this many hours because they forced it all into one launcher and treated games as DLC to prevent refunds. Only reason I play is to talk to my best friend. COD sucks.

Do not play this game via Steam. You'll be kicked out every Tuesday, even mid-match. For some (obvious) reason, playing away from Battle.net will make the game have less FPS (for some people it will be a +100 FPS diff)...

I also found myself with problems of the game taking about 10 minutes to really close completely... Anyway...

Good dame but developer still has a lot of work to do to get rid of cheaters and fix the chat ban issues, game is rated mature yet you get banned for talking to your team mates.

Minimum and Recommended specs are only for campaign. Would refund if the campaign wasnt just long enough to pass the 2 hour mark. Go to Hell retardivision.

If killing ninja turtles in a casino is your thing, maybe buy this. All realism is gone, it's all about micro-transactions now. If you don't like micro-transactions, there is literally an algorithm to make you play against people who have spent more money than you, so you are more likely to see the micro-transactions than the next person.

I WISH I could recommend this dumpster fire. Trash servers kick me off every 2-3 matches and I get ZERO explanation. Don't buy this game.

One of the worst games Activision and Tryarch ever released. Not polished, their game crashes constantly, Private lobbies are super glitched and everything is neglected on MP and Ranked.

This is a horrible game, don't start playing because if u do, you'll get addicted and good, and when ur to good, they either shadow ban you or put you in with cheaters and they change your game mechanics more than a trans and their gender. I hate this game, generally, I hate it. I only play it to spend time with my 56-year-old grandpa, and I hate this game, but I love that man to death, so I still play.

Its COD nothing more to say.. Same game will be released the next year and the year after that and the year after that..

This game taught me french canadian swear words, they have clearly more than us, they use them as an adjective, noun, pronoun, verb, they even include Jesus christ its craaaazzzzyy! All the religious object you can think of they swear the s*** out of them, its almost satanic.

Only thing good about BO6 is Zombies.
The maps ar amazing and the easter eggs are really cool, it takes along time to do some of them, and some are really hard, but it's cool. Zombies was the biggest reason i bought the game and i'm not dissapointed.

Multiplayer is nothing like BO, its straight up MW. people ar tryharding like it depends on their life, the fun is stripped away. The movement style is gross, like sliding backwards? Dolphin diving sidewards while shooting spinning around, come on..
It also feels like there is alot of cheaters because of the insane amount of prefire on certain maps and gamemodes, it's disgusting. Dolphing diving sidewards while shooting spinning around. The camping on this game is the worst i've ever experienced in all of cod.

The campaing is somewhat alright, miss the old way tho.. the open kinda world isn't for me.

Somehow the game is still addictive, but i wouldn't really recommend buying for the MP tho.

Couldn't refund due to bundling tech that makes the hours for bo6 the same as warzone, they that plowed my ass 0/10, unless you think the campaign and zombies is worth 70 dollars i don't recommend this game due to rampant cheating

This game is 363GB of complete and utter trash.
Playing only zombies with friends, this game constantly crashes... With hours of prep time doing the zombies story objectives are constantly wasted with the random crashes, parties being non-joinable and other random bugs and crashes... Activision spends more time worried about the amount of gobble gum packs and marijuana related characters and items being sold in the store than actually fixing game crashing bugs.

I'm writing this review now with over 460 hours on record because this game and the series is just utter trash. I need to stop buying into this bullshit company and I suggest everyone who sees this review does the same. Obviously do what you want, but players don't realize that they have more power over game companies than they realize..
Once they do, garbage game companies like this will be in the past.

new 17gb full of trash skins droped and i was just forced to restart my pc manually because after the update my whole pc stoped responding. Little hint to the developers, updates should fix bugs and optimisation issues and not create new ones.

maybe i just got lucky or smth but every review i've seen says the game runs poorly, yet it runs pretty great for me. my pc isn't strong by any means. it was pre-built and cheap and i have done no upgrading. gun play is solid but i can see how it is too similar to previous iterations and i don't like a lot of the maps. the in game purchases are stupid but not required whatsoever at least. game is not amazing nor a must have but probably the best COD in some time. biggest problem for me is that the game is the size of a whale

cod blows and everything about it sucks lol....its the only game i can play with the bros so here we are....its terrible though...hackers in every lobby and your reports just ricochet off the AI...I've been playing since world at war and this franchise is an absolute joke now...save your money and sanity

where do i even start number one i wanted to get my money back so i asked for a refund then they said no they cant do that because i had over 7 hours on the game which was bullshit at the time because i literly couldnt even play the damn fucken game because it took so damn long to load everything. Number two good luck finding a server with good connections because its impossible to find one even if you have a 100K pc setup there will alwyas be lag or packet bursts or some shit like that. The game size is ridiculous while only having 122gb of files installed in the launcher it takes up 200+ gb of storage its fucking stupid, 80gb worth of extra storage for a launcher? and the game is terrible optimization wise.

Trying to have fun? Not in this economy. The game sees you do well for ONE match and suddenly throws you into lobbies with professional esports wannabes rocking headsets more expensive than your console.

Microtransactions — The Real MVP
Want a cool skin? $20. Want that same skin but in a slightly different color? Another $20. Want to actually feel like content isn’t locked behind a paywall? Too bad.

It’s like they sat in a meeting and said, "How can we charge players for basic fun?"

Warzone? More like Bugzone.
Cheaters, invisible skins, broken guns, game crashes — it’s like a free-to-play FPS mixed with a beta test nobody asked for. Every patch fixes 1 bug and adds 3 new ones.

Final Verdict:
Call of Duty isn’t a game anymore — it’s a $70 annual subscription to rage, sweat, and disappointment. But somehow... we all keep playing it. And that’s probably the biggest scam of all.

This is probably one of the worst games i have ever played in my life. lets start off with not being able to play the game weeks after launch because a software they added made it unplayable for 1000 series cards, even tho it says on the steam page that a 1080ti is recommended. i was getting 120 fps high with fsr on. they updated the game i was getting 45 fps with low settings and performance upscaler. it was unplayable. until i bought a new gpu that is. i was excited to try warzone only to find out i had downloaded a warzone HUB? 59 gbs??? i wasted 2.5 hours downloading a warzone hub that didnt even come with the game installed, so i now need to downloaded another 69 gb game. just to play warzone. 110 gbs for warzone and a COD HQ HUB, wth is going on here. and i dont get how i went to the warzone page on steam to download the game and it still only downloaded the HUB and not the game. and lets not forget that i couldnt play the game for weeks because they updated the game to make it unplayable. i have a gtx 1070 and ryzne 5600x and i was playing stalker 2 with better performance. and that game doesn't know what optizmation is. so i dont understand how an fps shooter like warzone and black ops 6 to not get 60 fps on low settings. whoever thought of the COD HQ HUB should be fired honestly. because i shouldnt be downloading a 59gb HUB that does nothing expect make you close and open your games every 30 mins. so i couldnt play with my friends because a company who doesnt need anymore money needs to have a high player count on paper because everyone needs to have the COD HQ open to even play warzone. and why are there 2 different warzone downloads to choose from anyway??? dont waste money on this dogwater of a game.

Even with the return of Verdansk it's not enough to save Warzone......the movement, UI and the absolute circus full of clowns that is the ridicolous skins makes the whole game feel like "The Fortnite for people who think they are too mature to play Fortnite"

Not recommended in the slightest if you used to play the old Verdansk since just by comparing videos of the old Verdansk experience shows a vastly different game than what it is now (movement, atmosphere, characters, weapons, everything is different now and not for the best) and even less recommended if you grow up playing the first CODs that actually took themselves more seriously and have a CLEAR and DEFINED artstyle and atmosphere, Warzone overall is one of the most jarring and unjoyable experiences I've come across in gaming

Good game it just sucks how they have to put all the games together takes up to much memory. && if your a good player they only put you up against sweats and tryhards give you all the bad teammates.

How TF is this game over 500GB?? This game is not good enough to override nearly half of my hard drive.. there is no reason for it to be that large.. I play game that are much bigger than this that are less than half the gb. This is obviously a coup to force people to play only their game and slowly wipe everything else off their hard drive.

I've never played or had a game that crashed so much as this game. I had it for xbox game pass and it crashed hundreds of time. Switched to Steam and same crashes. 300gb to install, updates are usally 100gb, microtransaction pop ups happen often, other players are 12 year olds that took too much adderal.

Game is steaming hot garbage. Cheaters and unemployed no lifes everywhere. Don't get me wrong I master prestiged and grinded the campaign along with multiplayer. The numbers of people leaving this game in droves speaks for itself.

The last great Call of Duty was Black Ops 2 and it's not even close.
