You’re absolutely pathetic to attack a solo dev because he created a better (subjectively) game. You’ve now shit where you slept and your reputation is trash. Two like games can coexist, it brings a competitive atmosphere. Way to fuck it all up for yourself.

Schedule 1 is better, don't waste money on these scummy ass devs/publisher. Even in the case that the devs say they dont have shit to do with it they claim it was a "necessity". The only thing that makes this better than dds1 is the fact it has multiplayer other than that its kinda trash. Play schedule 1 instead.

It's sad to me and I'm sure everyone else, that a studio as big as this is attacking and SUING a small indie studio for making a game that was "similar" to DDS2. First off, of course there is going to be similarities, they are both games that are about drugs, producing them and distributing them. For this to be taken as serious as a lawsuit toward essentially a solo dev game is beyond ridiculous. Any fans DDS had they no longer do. Lets not forget that this lawsuit only came up once Schedule 1 had been hitting the charts. This is sad and pathetic from the DDS studios.

Before you try and take a fun game that people enjoy playing, maybe you should fix yours so you can actually have a valid argument.

after waiting 2 years for this game to be a flop, i kept my mouth shut about their bullshit until they came after the creators of schedule 1, do not buy this shit ass game. dds1 was amazing and then they rushed this absolute mess and are announcing the release of DLCs. delete your broken ass game and get back to the drawing board. hope this helps

I really wanted to like Drug Dealer Simulator 2. After the first game, I had high hopes—more depth, co-op mode, maybe some innovation in the gameplay. UI? Newsflash—everyone’s using basic inventory grids and crafting trees. That’s not innovation, that’s standard UI design.

Mechanics? What exactly are you claiming as yours? Making drugs? Selling drugs? Managing operations? Those mechanics existed in Tycoon games, Breaking Bad, and crime sims long before your franchise.

Plot? The whole "start small and build a drug empire" trope isn’t exactly original. You didn’t invent it. Hell, half the drug movies and shows from the past 20 years have used that arc.

Now you're allegedly trying to throw legal shade at Schedule I—a game made by one guy that, frankly, plays better, looks better, and respects players' time more than this buggy sequel ever did. Maybe instead of pointing fingers, focus on polishing your game, fixing the janky controls, improving performance, and delivering something actually new.

Because right now, Drug Dealer Simulator 2 feels less like a sequel, and more like a case study in how not to evolve a franchise—and trying to take down competition just makes it look like you're scared of being outdone. And guess what? You already were.

Suing a single developer for making a game in a pool of many similar games, just because it's more successful than yours, is downright petty.

These Devs made a decent game and think they somehow control the entire concept of drug dealing in a game. This game is at best ALRIGHT, but between the bugs and lack of things to do outside of selling/processing drugs it gets repetitive and boring fast. The best part of the game has to be the graphics by far. Honestly just play the first one and then move on.

I didn't want to leave a review just because I respect the concept, But you think you are Nintendo because you commit yourself to one game concept and think you own it permanently.

To attack 'Schedule 1' for being like your game but more fun is INSANE. You were the ones that had to make it 80% realistic and complain when a small fun arcade style game comes along and destroys your sales and marketing department, yet somehow you think its the same as your game. Maybe just play it and see how much better they did at making a game for stoners to enjoy and somehow not destroy their fan base and peoples wallets in the process.

I was gonna wait and buy the casino DLC but I don't think that's gonna happen because these devs think they deserve the world for making a 7/10 game AT BEST, that's not even in Early Access.

With it not being 'Early Access', They want us to pay for every content update including said 'Casino Update', even though most Sim games will put in a casino in the BASE GAME because it helps people keep playing when you can do more than one thing to stay entertained. Also, WHEN IS THE RELEASE OF THE DLC ITS BEEN OVER 5 MONTHS SINCE IT WAS TEASED.

I enjoyed my first play-through, but this game wasn't that fun until you add MODs because its very repetitive without them, you just grow process and deliver. its a decent loop but they didn't even have MIXING upon release. MIXING WAS THE BEST PART OF THE FIRST GAME YOU GUYS MADE AND YOU DIDN'T ADD IT TO THE SECOND GAME FOR MONTHS.

These devs seem more concerned about controlling the concept of drug dealing in games with lawsuits rather than improving their game to compete better in a market that is constantly EVOLVING.

Due to repeated opinions that Schedule I is very similar to DDS, we were obliged to request a legal analysis from an intellectual property specialist. It has indicated that there might have been an infringement by the Schedule I developers in relation to Drug Dealer Simulator.

S1's "similarities" start and end at being in the same genre. You weren’t “obliged” to jump straight into legal saber-rattling. You chose to. Let’s not pretend this was some reluctant move. This whole “investigation” is a textbook case of bad faith. You know it. We know it.

Now we are obliged to follow up further, but we are yet to contact the Schedule I developers. Our goal at this point is discussing the situation with them and we have an open approach.

Still an absolute PR disaster. Instead of actually reaching out to the singular dev like normal people, you chose the route that conveniently frames you as the “concerned party” while setting the stage for legal intimidation.

Like we said, we need to start a conversation. It is not our intention to prevent TVGS from selling or developing their game.

Overall, our goal is to support all devs, but we need to consider our legal obligations if law specialists determine that there are grounds to claim infringement. We even contacted TVGS via email just before the release, when the game was already huge, and wished them all the best - but that was before that legal analysis. Back then no one expected it to be needed, not to mention that it would bring these results.

Translation: “We misjudged S1’s success, and now that it’s in our way, we’re hoping a flimsy infringement claim will sweep it under the rug and out of the way.”

This is a very serious situation for us. We’re not a big corporation, but a relatively small indie publisher. There are other drug simulators out there with very positive scores and good sales. These are A-OK in regards to DDS according to lawyers.

Oh please, don’t insult everyone’s intelligence with the “We’re indie too!” sympathy play. You’ve made a whole business model out of churning out low effort simulator clones like it's a factory. Funny how you’re not going after other similar games. Could it be because they’re not threatening your wallet?

I have over 80 hours in the first game the fact you dev's are acting like this makes me wish i was still able to refund both of your games, maybe improve your games, maybe make them more exciting and new player friendly

i liked the game so far, id like to be able to traverse the map faster but i feel like that comes later on so I cant really complain. decent game and really fun to get into!

The first game? Sí, it had sabor—unique mechanics, a real sense of building your operation. But this? A big, empty map with less life than a policía’s conscience. You don’t even make the drugs anymore—just sit, watching timers like some pendejo waiting for his abuela’s soup to boil. Pathetic.

And the missions? Dios mío, half of them are as pointless as a sober man at a cartel party. Buying apartments? Por qué? They give you nothing but another empty room to stare at while questioning your life choices. Cars? Jajaja, you can’t even drive them—just fast travel, slower than a borracho crawling home after cinco de mayo.

The bugs? Ay, caramba. Thugs screaming the same broken lines, mechanics more tedious than counting every peso in your vault, and fixes that take longer than a shipment from Colombia. And what do the developers do? Instead of making the game playable, they’re busy counting their dinero with promised DLC that still hasn’t arrived. Qué sorpresa.

It has almost been a year. And still gamebreaking bugs, saves getting bricked and not possible to get new recipes. Save your money and stay away.

Drug Dealer Simulator 2 takes everything that worked in the first game, cool mechanics, engaging progression, a sense of strategy and tosses it out the window. Instead, we get glorified timer-waiting and a bunch of pointless properties to buy, because... reasons?

The first game had some genuinely fun mechanics, but they’ve been completely abandoned here. It honestly feels like this was made by a totally different team, one that played Drug Dealer Simulator 1, misunderstood what made it fun, and decided "bigger = better" without actually adding meaningful content.

So, if you enjoy staring at timers, aimlessly expanding a soulless empire, and wondering what could have been, this one’s for you. For everyone else? Just play Schedule 1 instead, it actually understands what makes this type of game fun.

This game is much worse than Schedule 1. It's incredibly boring and repetitive; it's basically a running simulator. The previous game was much better, in my opinion, but Schedule 1 is even better than that. Get Schedule 1 instead.

Did not play DDS1 , But just played 10 hours straight and would play more if not for work tomorrow. Worth the money , maybe also wait for a sale?

Honestly when I first saw this game and the scope I was very happy, made a couple of threads in the discussions and quickly realised how the Development team handles such things, Alyss especially made me feel like I shouldn't be raising my voice with their responses.

Then came the day of release it was meh to say the least, then they brought out a few updates and announced a DLC. this game is a joke, and the staff working mostly on the discussions threads are clowns with the way they respond to the players.

Please don't release DDS3 Nobody needs that and nobody's asking for that.

I would like the 45 hours back in my life, it was a fun early/mid game absolutely horrendous late game with stretched out unrewarding final missions. Very disappointing :(

Bought Schedule I today, excited to try that game out as it seems x10 better at its current release than this game now.

game was super fun, started playing other games then come back to this after 3/4 months and its now unplayable after the last few updates, incredibly laggy now and had to restart my pc because it froze the hole thing

Man DDS2 is a huge disappointment. I put 9 hours into it today but they whiffed on so many aspects that were good in the first one. It turns into a walking/fetch quest simulator pretty quickly and then it's doing that for like 4 hours until you unlock dealers to handle some clients in an area and even then you have more area to do walking sim/fetch/gather in. Even the parts I enjoyed about 1 aren't available without a heavy time investment. Cars/bikes and stuff are literally just a fast travel button when there are already bus stations for that around the map, you don't actually drive you just insert gas and load into the area chosen. Really disappointing considering how much I enjoyed 1. My only regret is it takes so long to become apparent that it's another empty feeling map simulation game with 30 sliders for an unbalanced default difficulty that I can't refund it now. Just a shame overall.

After hours of play all i can say it doesn't hit like DDS1 , and now that schedule 1 is out hopefully these devs can innovate without locking content behind paywalls . I see that a dlc coming when the base game feels lacking . In my opinion get Schedule 1 its cheaper with features that feel more like DDS1. Maybe I'll play it again once it receives more meaningful updates .Competition breeds Innovation

Good sequel to DDS and fun to play. Have had minimal issues with crashes and bugs and devs are working on those anyway.

I was a big fan of DDS1, that game didn't had much activities, however it was engaging and unique. DDS2 had to be like a similar game just with a wider variety of activities and bigger map. It turned out to be a whole different game which bears no resemblance to the first version at all. In my opion, this game is just bad version of the first one with a larger mapp... Maybe yall will like it, but for me it's a total let down.

Just play schedule 1. Until this game actually improves, its just not fun. They are also releasing DLC before making a proper game.

When this game released it had absolutely tanking reviews due to general player dissatisfaction with the game progress, features, comprehensibiltiy, dismissed features from DDS1 that didnt make it in -- There shouldnt be a single positive review so many months later.

I dont know how this game is trending mostly positive. I can only assume that some of the player base either a) sees hope in the sh*tshod roadmap we've been given, or b) doesnt care about depth of play, lack of promised features, frequent crashes and generally horrible asset flip game they paid $20 to have the privilege to play.

In summary, if you are on the fence. Or even if you've seen gameplay and think it looks fun, DO NOT BUY THIS TITLE.

It is largely unfinished. The NPC clients are just UE4 basic assets. The game runs ABYSMALLY. and the ONLY thing that goes for it is that its sort of like DDS1. The game tries to make it a selling point that the map is bigger. What does that mean if I am screen shuddering to walk 10 steps.

This game is far more in depth and longer than I was anticipating. Strongly recommend this.

100 hours later and I am left with frustration, confusion, and disappointment. This game is such a huge let down from the first one that no sale or DLC would make me want to offer it to anyone else. The UI is extremely confusing and misguiding and has no explanation to what is actually going on unless you dive yourself into reddit, walkthroughs, or youtube videos. The story is un-inviting and un-rewarding. It baffles me to just how long this game has been out, and there has been no attempt to fix the countless bugs and optimization issues you interact with daily. I truly tried to give this one a solid go but alas, I must move on to something that I enjoy. The devs really need to stop hiding behind large maps and flavorless details and iron their wrinkles.

Since Schedule 1 is out, there is not need to dump money into this greedy studio. Dont waste your time on a game which is full of bugs (many are game braking, where you can't continue to progress), which never gets optimized.
Still at lategame, you run around and doing things like growing, packing, etc. while its promised to feel like a kingpin.
Did i mention, that you can't drive cars or shoot guns? Cars are only for fast travel teleporting and melee combat is clunky as hell (no range weapons in game). Boat physics are non existing aswell.

Devs never listen to community and try to remove negative feedback and they wants to charge for a dlc, even the game is in a beta status.

Buy Schedule 1, its way more polished, has more content, is nearly bugfree and well optimized.

Kind of a disappointment:

1. Setting - Lame

My guess is they wanted to capitalize on the "Narcos" hype, which is expired by the year this game released in. For me it would have been better if the game was set in a NY inspired large city.

2. Vehicles - Lame

At first I thought this game was going to feature real time driving, checkpoints, etc. Fast travel is bad imo.

3. Weapons - *sigh*

No fire arms.


Don't get me wrong, it's a decent game, it can scratch your itch after DDS1, but it could have been much much better. Take notes from Schedule 1.

Would I recommend it? Yeah, sure, but doesn't live up the hype.

Bugs, bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Even after this long since it came out there's still game breaking quest bugs.

As addicted (ironically) I got to this game I cannot in good conscious suggest it to others. The game feels poorly made in comparison to the first. Which is rather weird to be the case. A crafting mechanic half shoved in, removal of the mixing mechanic of the first game, distributors which help make the game easier but almost remove your purpose. Things just dont line up well. You truck along hoping for some payoff or purpose greater than grind for a bigger boat / house until you hit endgame and then... you quit. These devs decided to clearly phone it in with a herculean level grind at the end that purely serves to pad out play time for their game. That is if anyone would even do it. The only reason I got this many hours in fact is due to needing to restart my whole save due to a game breaking bug surviving through two major patches. I have to say devs, do better. Fix your actual progression denying bugs and make an endgame that isnt a pointless mindless unfun grind.
