Delivering on the franchise's compelling story, unrivaled authenticity and intense squad-based action, Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway drops you into Operation Market Garden, the largest paratrooper operation in World War II.
Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway — next generation: The classic authentic, squad-based combat series explodes on next-generation hardware, offering unprecedented graphics and features.
New story, new setting: Join Matt Baker, Joe Hartsock and the rest of the 101st Airborne Division in Operation Market Garden as they fight to open the infamous Hell's Highway in a daring bid for a quick end to the war.
Live the life of an enlisted man: Get orders from HQ, go on patrol, spot the enemy and set up a devastating ambush. For the first time, finding the enemy before they find you is part of the challenge.
Unprecedented character design: Lifelike characters look, talk, move and think with incredible realism. Game characters interact with the player and each other like true brothers in arms, trading ammunition, helping wounded allies and civilians, working together to man team-operated weapons, and more.
Rich cinematic experience: As the squad leader, you interact with and get to know your brothers. Each character has his own distinct personality, unique story and background, and grows throughout the game.
Powerful new units under your command: Players can use or command combined arms teams — machine gun crews create intense fire, bazooka crews destroy buildings and tanks, and mortar crews pound the enemy from a distance.
Play your own way: Players can choose to use their squad to execute a tactically elegant flanking maneuver or charge in with guns blazing.
Destructible cover: Keep your men moving and choose your cover wisely — modeled using real physical properties and behaviors, weapons will damage, dent, scorch and destroy the world around you.
Completely new multiplayer experience: Fight major multiplayer battles with dozens of players on each side, combining all the intensity and accessibility of Deathmatch with the squad-based gameplay that helped make Brothers In Arms famous.

i love this game for the tactical mechanics- truly incredible and always made for so much fun as a kid. As an adult, nothing has surpassed that level of greatness in single player ww2 tactical FPS.
I can appreciate what this game is trying to do but it just does not beat out the first two in the series. Gameplay is a little more or less the same. Graphics are better but it just don't hit the same as the first two.
Cool game, I like it :)
Back when Troy Baker was a serious actor
Really fun single player shooter with an intriguing story. Definitely worth a buy as the squad based third person shooter gameplay is pretty different to what you've played before and it works really well. Length is perfect, not too short not too long.
Classic
wow
Just a great classic WWII FPS.
the game is good so far but the only problem which completely ruined it for me is the chapters were broken, i played it for 65 minutes and completed the first 2 chapters and when i went back to check if it saved it sent me back to the start thus discarding my progress. Game is good but bug ruined it. if anyone could help me please comment.
While not as good as its' predecessors; this is a fun, albeit short game. As the multiplayer is obviously long gone, this will be a strictly singleplayer experience.
You'll notice the easier difficulty right away, which isn't helped by the inclusion of a cover mechanic. This is a slightly less tactical experience than the other games in the series, and more often than not I found myself handling most situations on my own without the assistance of my squad. Most objectives are rather repetitive; flank 3 groups of enemy, knock out an MG nest or two, then destroy a tank or FLAK 88. Not a fan of the vehicle levels either. These were dull due to the aforementioned easiness of the game.
The story is this games' strength, while nothing on the level of Band of Brothers, it isn't a bad imitation. Unskippable cutscenes, I might add; which gives me the impression that the devs wanted players to see their efforts at crafting a better plot in this game. Like I said, it's not bad.
Upon completion you'll be rewarded with an authentic difficulty, which removes your HUD. Stay away from it, the game's mandatory cover mechanic makes it essential for not taking fire, even if you are crouched behind cover in first person perspective. This means that you won't have a reticle while aiming from cover. This makes hitting anything a total guessing game; not fun.
I've played through this game about three times, once recently on PC, about ten years ago on the 360, and originally on the PS3 when it first came out. While aiming with the mouse is always better, I actually found that performance was better on consoles. If you care more about the quality of the port, then I'd go for the 360 version which is available for the Xbox Series consoles on the Microsoft Store. If you would rather have better controls, then nab it for the PC. Merry Xmas all
FIRE AND MANEUVER! (It actually works in this game) 10/10 even if the game is 16 years old. I hope they make a remaster or a sequel set in the Battle Of The Bulge but it's a shame that Ubisoft owns this franchise.
Play this game to get away from seeing wamen in combat. Only mans are given rifles and uniforms in this war.
good
Pure nostalgia! It feels just like the good old days.

One of the best WW2 game I have ever played.
its not worth full price at least even tho it should be cheap
Grew up playing BiA franchise....Road to Hill 30 holds a special place in my heart, but this one is just as amazing, as are all games in the series. If you're into great story as well as ww2 fps shooters, you gotta give it a try. Tho keep in mind that's it's not your usual "generic" CoD-like ww2 shooter, it's a squad based game in which you need to utilize your base of fire and assault team to their best effects. Just....play the game and be blown away by the best ww2 franchise out there.
"So you've been through Hell... Tell me Matthew, how do you feel about snow?" - Gearbox, ubisoft......BiA 4 - Battle of the Bulge - make it happen!
Great shooters with a bit of brains behind it. although not a multiplayer the player needs to utilise his Squad effectively to complete most of the missions. The cut scenes go on a bit too long but all in all its a great game.
Good game.

Hindsight is 20/20. This series had so much potential, and this game single handedly killed it. I remember hating this game when I was younger without even playing it, because the writing was on the wall. Now that I played through it years later, I realize my feelings were justified. This game wants to be Call of Duty, but fails. It wants to be taken seriously, but is so over the top, ridiculous, and cliched with its story, it fails. It also tries to retain the gameplay of the first game despite trying to COD-ify, and with some of the genuinely stupidest teammate AI of any game ever and hilariously awful whack-a-mole style cover shooting mechanics, well, it fails there too. Oh, and the game ends on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved because this series (thankfully) has been put to rest.
This is not the worst game ever made. The tank sections were fun. But, this is absolutely a complete stinker. Do not waste your time, do not waste your money, devote your time literally anywhere else.
Maybe the best second world war game. A great singleplayer campaign with really good mechanics.
ggod
I never played Hell's Highway when I was younger. It's a fantastic game that significantly outperforms both Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood in terms of gameplay. I choked up at the end. Gearbox needs to make another Brothers in Arms game.
good game
One of the best and under appreciated WW2 campaigns in recent memory.
its pretty good, but im now afraid to take the highways now.
There's a mix of features that were featured in Road To Hill 30 and Earned In Blood that I wish made it to this game; there are also features that were promised, but didn't get added.
Still, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway raised the bar for WWII and tactical shooters with its dramatic story, which ties up the loose ends from Road To Hill 30, and for its gameplay.
I've been playing it since it came out in 2007, and I'll most likely keep playing.
Holy shit its good. a little buggy sometimes but.
best game in the series
Playing my childhood game.
This is my personal favourite of the series. Its story is great and the gameplay, while less tactical, is still fun to play. Having a cover system, regenerative health and teammates who respawn at checkpoints does take out some of the tactical nature of the first two but I don't mind the streamlining of it that much as it makes the game less frustrating. Although I will admit that the game is easier overall now because of the changes. I'd say in a potential Brothers In Arms 4, they could strike a balance between the tactical nature of the first two, while having some of the streamlined elements of the third. Since the gameplay is less frustrating and more fun and the game has a better told story, I consider this the best of the series. Let's hope we get a new one soon! 8/10
