This is one of the best coop games ever, pve, tactics, fun.
Even better than the first.
Vegas 1 and 2 are the only Rainbow Six games I like. The movement and cover system mainly set them apart. RS Vegas cover system is simply the best, it makes the game very fun to play. The developers would be fools not to continue the saga of single player campaigns with this cover system. So until then, I just keep replaying the Vegas games to fulfill that need.. its always fun.
Its a good tactical shooter with a more mainstream appeal, more simplified approach to rainbow six franchise's core game-play with a solid 2 part campaign(Vegas and Vegas 2), plus terror hunt is still a banger to play on LAN.
good 3h to finish
very nice <3
One of the classics, everyone should play this game at least once.
one great classic shooter
If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place.
Ingredients:
1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2. 1/2 cup white sugar
3. 1/2 cup brown sugar
4. 1/4 cup water
5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
6. 1 pinch salt
7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced
8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and set aside.
3. Roll out half the pastry to fit a 9-inch pie plate. Place bottom crust in pie plate; pour in apple slices.
4. Roll out top crust into a 10-inch circle. Cut into 8 (1-inch) wide strips with a sharp paring knife or pastry wheel. Weave the pastry strips, one at a time, into a lattice pattern. Fold the ends of the lattice strips under the edge of the bottom crust and crimp to seal.
5. Pour butter-sugar mixture over top of pie, coating the lattice, and allowing any remaining sauce to drizzle through the crust.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake until the crust is golden brown, the caramel on the top crust is set, and the apple filling is bubbling, 35 to 40 more minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
Old but Gold.
I have absolutely no ideea why i bought this shi in almost 2025, but 8/10
Audio is EXTREMELY buggy so expect to hear 5 different guns shooting 24/7 troughout the whole game
Game engine is meh and has a few bugged missions but ig its aight
I RECOMMEND ONLY TO CR4CK IT, not buy it
To this day, this is one of the most unique experiences I've ever gotten to play.
Constantly find myself scouring through the internet searching for similar games, progression systems, co-op stories etc.. Especially in the single-player space. Haven't found s h i t - this game was wayyyy ahead of it's time.
The story is definitely forgettable. I honestly don't remember any of it other than the fact it was fun to play.
The multiplayer though? The co-op? Remarkable. Even today, I can't recall seeing this games cover mechanic done as smoothly, VOIP making your in-game character speak (and mouth-move), a game-mode like terrorist-hunt and a character customization system truly like no other.
I love this game. It'll never happen, but it would be nice to see a remake of this Rainbow Six.
An Unforgettable Tactical Experience - Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is nothing short of a masterpiece in the tactical shooter genre. From the moment you dive into the immersive world of Las Vegas, you're greeted with a thrilling blend of strategy and action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This game excels in delivering an exhilarating experience that is both fun and intense!
The gameplay is incredibly engaging, especially during LAN sessions with friends. The cooperative shooting mechanics shine as you team up to take down terrorists, and every mission feels like a high-stakes operation that requires teamwork and communication. The thrill of planning your approach and executing it flawlessly with your squad is unparalleled.
The graphics and sound design further elevate the experience, immersing you in the vibrant yet dangerous atmosphere of Las Vegas. Each location is meticulously crafted, making you feel like you're right in the heart of the action. The attention to detail in both the environments and character animations adds a layer of realism that enhances the overall gameplay.
One of the standout features of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is its dynamic multiplayer modes, which offer endless replayability. Whether you're in a tense standoff or coordinating a strategic assault, the adrenaline rush is palpable. The game encourages collaboration and quick thinking, ensuring that no two matches are ever the same.
In conclusion, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a thrilling ride filled with excitement and heart-pounding action. It's a game that not only challenges your skills but also fosters camaraderie among players. If you're looking for an unforgettable co-op experience that combines tactical gameplay with nonstop fun, look no further than Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It’s a game that truly stands the test of time!
In my opinion, this is the best Rainbow Six series. It’s very rare for an FPS game to offer similar features. The concept is highly engaging, and even though it’s an older game, I still play it to this day.
Unfortunately, it seems Ubisoft has started losing its direction, focusing on irrelevant aspects and catering to people who don’t even play the game. The end is near—wake up!
This game was peak and all I could say, I want this to get a 3rd Installment, please ubisoft, lets go back to this; simple weapon customization, amazing character customization; amazing campaign and amazing gameplay. This shit is something I'd love to come back too
Truly great, those hunts on the hardest setting are absolutely brutal.
kinda sad that siege ruined this franchises legacy, best game in the series
Bring back old memories on the PS3, had to get it back in hand.
love it play the co op campaign every few years
F*** Ubisoft. They shut down the game servers for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, one among a huge list of other games. No longer have access to all coop & multiplayer content. Boycotting
"Get Comfortable With Not Owning Games" - Ubisoft
bad port or something just bad
sound issues
slow menu
no controller support
fun and made me mad but its really not that bad i know its old but still fun and playable
Great game with satisfying tactics and shooting. Wish multiplayer wasn't dead without workarounds though
very pro game. i love getting blasted by a shield and dying. also the last level of the game on realism is painful. besides that its gas
SKANCH
general run and gun with a story. mechanics still good though the graphics are dated now. plenty of character customisation and weapon unlocks as you progress
HIT REG MOTHERFUCKER DO YOU SPEAK IT?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Crecí con este juego y la verdad no me arrepiendo de volver a descargar. no esperen algo tan táctico como los anteriores ni una mejora respecto al primer Vegas
No sensitivity adjustment for your mouse. You could probably get by playing on a controller however that is not my preference for any sort of shooter. Wouldn't play it even if it was free.
I really miss those days, when that UbiSoft intro video meant something for us as a gamers !
BEST RAINBOW
Have played this game for countless hours on the dvd version i bought 14 years ago. Cant praise enough. the duck and shoot has always been a favorite of mine. The co-op play and terrorist hunt (lone wolf) the best. unfortunately the servers were pulled and this is only a single player now. i will give some good news LAN play does still work.
Classic.
The game is really fun, brings back a lot of memories. There's a few glitches and the graphics don't stand up to todays standards as much but its still good.
Multiplayer does Not work!
no good without multiplayer. save your money.
fun and addictive game. use to play when i was a kid on Xbox360. 100% recommend playing.
After playing this game again I feel like this is an improvement over the last game. This game continues where the last game ended where you have to kill teorrist in Vegas and save the day. The gameplay feels much better compared to the first game. It still has flaws I hated in the first game but at least it is more bearable to deal with. Doing certain actions in the game gives you XP to level up to get new weapons and equipment. The game has all the things you see in the first game, like planning out where to go, but the AI for your teammates is brain-dead sometimes when you order them to do something. There's a terrorist hunt where you can set up the difficulty and the amount of terrorists you can kill on the map you're in. Even with the improvements in the game It still has flaws I had with the last game. Where If you can get insta killed by a shotgun blast even on the easiest difficulty and running to a place that has no enemies at all can pop out of nowhere it's pretty much trial and error. The last section of the game has you surviving an attack chopper. The cover system is still messed up since there are places where you can barely go to them at all and the places at look like good places to shoot at enemies but are blocked by the camera or in places that can't be shot at. At least there's bullet penetration that helps that out a bit. Overall I enjoyed the game even though I had to deal with the annoying flaws. I give this game an 8 out of 10.
Best game ever made...splinter cell double agent svm as well. This game needs to come back
...
This game's one of the best tactical fps out there and still holds up to the era of new tactical games. The terrorist hunt is so good and adds a lot of replay value to the game to unlock new gears and weapons. The gunplay and the gameplay mechanics are amazing with all the different ways to clear out the enemies and areas. The squad based feature's are great but I don't like that the squad members sometimes get stuck and just couldn't move anywhere where I want them to move.
banger game but had it much nicer in my memory
The game is just vegas but better, it has more maps and a longer campaign, multiplayer is dead, but if you get it working it should be fun.
<3
How was this not designed to support controller input?
I can literally boot my xbox 360 and play this exact game on a controller.
PC masterbait race...
It's a really good game. It has a solid campaign and a fun offline terrorist hunt mode with a dozen or more different maps. I was able to get the Xbox controller to work by editing the Keller Joysticks ini. There are guides on how to do this in the discussion section of Steam for this game. But note, the only Xbox controller this ended up working with was the one that came with the Xbox Series X I recently bought. I have another xbox controller that I had bought separately which didn't work. Once you get your ini setup with the correct line edits for the VID, PID and descriptioin needed per the guides, I then also had to disable steam input for this game within the games properties on steam. It may only work if your controller is wired USB and not blue tooth. I was then able to select Xbox controller setting to ON in the Extras menu of the game. I fiddled with it for a while trying every controller I own, but it didn't end up working until I tried the factory default controller which came with the console I had bought.
The game looks and plays great at 4K 120hz. Would be cool if the online servers were still up, but tbh the offline content on offer here is enough to make this game worth a buy.
Terrorist hunt in RSV2 is so much fun. Love the cover system. Love all the gun choices. Theres even some off the wall features like being able to put a picture of your face on the character, and when you use your mic to VOIP it actually makes your characters mouth move. So crazy for a game this old.
Good game
Games a lil janky but i Love this banger of a classic, honestly when i hear about ready or not i can see how rainbow six seems to have influanced how that game was done. Just like that game you have to go slow check rooms and not bum rush like you think you are duke nukem. The methodical approch to each area can be nail biting.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – A Solid Tactical Shooter Experience
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 builds upon the foundations laid by its predecessor, delivering a tactical shooter experience that is both engaging and enjoyable. Released in 2008, this sequel enhances many elements while retaining the core gameplay that made the original a success.
The storyline picks up seamlessly from the first game, placing players back in the role of a Rainbow operative tasked with thwarting a terrorist threat in Las Vegas. The narrative is compelling, featuring familiar characters and high-stakes missions that maintain tension throughout. While the story may not be groundbreaking, it effectively serves as a backdrop for the intense action.
Gameplay is a key highlight of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The tactical mechanics are well-executed, allowing players to plan their approach to missions. The cover system is improved, making movement through environments more fluid. The AI, while generally competent, can sometimes feel predictable, but this does not significantly detract from the overall experience. Players can still enjoy a mix of stealth and action, adapting their strategies to various situations.
Level design remains strong, featuring a variety of environments that capture the essence of Las Vegas. The missions are diverse, providing opportunities for both close-quarters combat and more strategic engagements. While some missions may feel a bit repetitive, the overall variety keeps gameplay fresh.
One of the notable additions in this sequel is the expanded customization options for characters and weapons. Players can personalize their operatives and loadouts, allowing for a tailored experience that enhances immersion. The cooperative gameplay mode is also a welcome feature, allowing friends to team up for missions, which adds a fun social element to the game.
Visually, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 holds up well, with detailed graphics and a solid atmosphere. The sound design complements the action, with realistic gunfire and environmental sounds that enhance immersion.
In summary, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a solid sequel that offers an enjoyable tactical shooter experience. While it may not completely surpass its predecessor, it successfully builds on its strengths with improved mechanics and expanded customization options. Fans of tactical shooters will find plenty to enjoy, making it a worthwhile addition to the Rainbow Six franchise. If you’re looking for a game that combines strategy and action in a vibrant setting, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is definitely worth a try!
