Barro Racing

I don't appreciate the way achievements are done in this game, but the game itself isn't bad considering its discounted price.

I played Barro Racing last but it turns out it's an earlier entry into the series. Oh well. A fast game to perfect in 90 minutes worth of wacky races.

Another great game from SC Jogos.

Crank the difficulty up to maximum and set the race conditions to fog at night, and you will still win, because the AI is braindead.
10 cars that have no distinguishing difference, other than the colour, and all run at exactly the same low speed. Joy!
And don't worry about whether you actually win the race or not, as you will get the "Win Race" achievement for each track even if you come in last place. Great for achievement lovers, I got all 11 achievements after exactly 26 minutes of play.
We all know the Barro games suck big time. So get it in one of those big bundles with all the other Barro games and you too can have your 26 minutes of joy with this game before never playing it again.

Exactly like the other 2 games, Barro 22 and Barro F, this is relaxing.

Has achievements I guess? That's something.

The game is very simple but fun. After playing all the episodes, I realized that it was only getting better.

A week ago I was diagnosed with MSD and the doctors have given me a year at best. I'm so glad I was able to play this before I go. I don't know how many people will see this; but I recommend to you to play this game if you do see it. Gameplay, atmosphere, graphics. everything is masterfully crafted. I wanted to satiate my never-ending hunger for achievements and well, it delivered, in a swift manner,
Other than that it's meh,

That game is insane ! I recommend it for any race lover, it's an absolute banger !

Unpolished Unity graphics. Gameplay is somewhat customizable, but there is nothing to do except press the acceleration button non stop, and opponents are invariably too easy.

Offers achievements based on level wins, and cards. Expect 100% in less than an hour, after which there is little to no replayability.

For the content offered, definitely not worth the full price, but might be worth a shot if you can snag it at a deeply discounted price. 4/10

Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity asset, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a:

Because the developer misused the asset pack such that it comprises the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam?

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Minicar Race Creator" is just a simple low poly toy car racing arcade game, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.

Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.

Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.

Another important Note: SC Jogos have been caught using fake reviews on their games in an attempt to mislead gamers by creating a fake positive review score. The reviews are all from known/compromised pay-per-review accounts, all in Russian or broken English, and show as Steam purchasers (to make the fake reviews count). The fake reviews are all posted within roughly 24 hours of each other, and usually shortly after the game launch. There's no evidence of fake reviews on this game, but that may change in future. Gamers have a right to know when developers act in a highly unethical manner.

Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from SC Jogos.

Just a rehash of all the other Barro games. Bad menu design. You cannot even set a resolution above 1920x1200. Driving itself is decent. Not much set dressing. Not worth to be honest.

Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)

Don't buy this game even the price 0,25 dollar.
I bought the game for the trading cards not for the gameplay.
I refund it.

It is a very easy game that allow you to enjoy for a bit. You can get all the achievements in less than 30 minutes and its graphics are not good, but enough to have a funny moment to release stress. I paid 0,49€ (euro) for the game, but a friend told me that sometimes is about 0,33€ (euro). I hope this review helps you!
