Об игре
Монобот — это двухмерный платформер-головоломка, основанный на законах физики. Вы возьмете под свой контроль маленького робота Моно, находящегося во враждебном мире далекого мрачного будущего. Придя в себя, Моно оказывается в одиночестве и совсем без ответов. Игрок поможет Моно преодолеть его сольное путешествие и разгадать все головоломки, открывающие тайны этого антиутопического мира. Сможете ли вы разорвать бесконечный цикл и найти свое истинное «я»?
Начав свое приключение в качестве простого робота, мало знающего об окружающем мире, Моно будет вооружен лишь своей ловкостью и изобретательностью. По мере продвижения вглубь пустынного мира, игроки смогут давать Моно уникальные улучшения, такие как магнитная рука или рука-телепорт. Very fun puzzle platform game, good story, and art work. My only complaint is that I couldn't jump all the time since there's gravity pull in this game \(^_^)\
I love all of these indie titles! they are as much fun if not more than the lager studios. Highly recommend this game!
Just a really enjoyable little platformer.
Not very challenging, but a nice little gem nonetheless.
Absolutely love this type of game. Working out how to get past various hazards and general puzzly elements and right up to the point where you obtain the 'jump' ability it was brilliant. Then for me it went downhill rapidly. Once you were able to jump, the jumping became so precise that it changed from the delight of solving interesting puzzles to nothing but a 'frustration fest' Others may not see it that way but as I'm of the older generation I have difficulty with manual dexterity. One of the snags of getting older no doubt. I love playing computer games and have been doing so since the Sega Master System was produced. It's one of the few pleasuers I have at my time of life and although I got this game at 50% discount I still felt overcharged because I wasn't able to finish it. And of course by the time I got to this point I'd been playing for 2.5 hours so no refund either. So another bit of my pension wasted I feel. But I'm sure you younger ones won't have the same problem.
MONOBOT does nothing wrong, but it also doesn't stick out. Those looking for a 2d puzzle-platformer are going to be satisfied, while everyone else may just feel lukewarm.

just a great game
It's like Limbo or Inside but with boring gameplay and uninteresting environments.
Good game. Short, approx. 2 hours. Timing jumps/swaps is the biggest killer. Interesting story. Good use of visual storytelling. Clues to upcoming events in the background, if you're paying attention. Nothing is unimportant. Everything is used. Buy it on sale, though. I don't feel it's worth full price.

Reminded me of old school Amiga puzzle platformers, which is always a good thing and took about 6 hours to complete. The puzzles aren't too taxing and the platforming can be frustrating (In a good way) until you realise there's an easier way.

Really fun puzzles set in a colorful world. Can be challenging, but you just have to try everything and eventually you'll find the solution. Nice design and progression of difficulty. Definitely worth it.
Very good puzzle-platformer with great physics.
More demanding of your reflexes than of your gray cells, it involves a lot of rope swinging, which admittedly I'm partial to.
Gamepad controls are very smooth, with the exception of a messy wheel turning. Although a rare mechanism, it's truly annoying once, in the early game, when it's required in the middle of a chase.
As another minor flaw, too distant checkpoints in a handful of places will have you repeat difficult sections that you thought you had put behind you.
Lastly, the ending is a walking simulator for several minutes, i.e., an unskippable cutscene that requires your brainless input.
The rest of the story is quite thrilling.
Zones of different gravity, chapters having you use different tools... the gameplay is varied and stays fresh all along.
Plenty of satisfying moments to be had.
Warm recommendation.

and also since its a puzzle game game time can differ from about 2 hours to 15 or 11 hours like me

Solid puzzle platformer with a neat subtle story.
+1 for 21:9 Ultrawide support!
Fun little 2D platformer game with a good amount of puzzles. None of which were too challenging after some trial and error. Visually it looked good as well and maintained it's style throughout my play through.
Game doesn't overstay it's welcome as it's less than 5 hours reach the end. Admittedly I didn't read many of the documents plus I missed a few, but they give you the breakdown of the story and how things came to be.
My only actual complaint is during some of the later chase scenes I felt that you were almost guaranteed to die as I didn't know what to expect when first encountering them.
Overall a fun and short game though. If you enjoy some puzzles and platforming I would recommend buying it.
I don´t know what to think of this game.
Yes, I liked it... But I don´t know how much. Decent platforming great puzzles and cool atmosphere.
But in the final half hour, I just wanted the game to end. A bit tiresome there.
Overall, a good experience, but that`s it...
A solid puzzleplatformer, even if it weers more towards precision platforming by the end. Which can feel unfair at times, as the controls can feel sluggish and not too responsive where precision is needed.
Nonetheless I had my fun with the game, it lasted me just over 13 hours.
I rate it as a solid 7/10.
This game is really awesome. I am soooo bad at puzzles and platforming but overall this one so far hasn't made me feel as big of an idiot as some other games. I'm only through the first part but it looks and sounds great and the story seems pretty interesting as well. The controls seem good with the only issue I experienced was with the joystick being a bit funky when you have to rotate some handles for a pulley system. I would for sure recommend this game. Great visuals. Great sound. A really fun puzzle game. If you're a fan of games like Limbo and Inside, I highly recommend it!
