Cute, I like he idea, and it is cozy. However, sometimes it really feels like Fetch Quest: The Game.

I want to focus on exploring, finding dinos, and faring, and it's beginning to get exceedingly frustrating at how quickly quests pile up, mind you quests that feel very useless. It's kind of exhausting playing this game sometimes.

This is a delightful mix of elements of ACNH, Stardew Valley, and Pokemon. Befriend and collect dinosaurs that each have skills that can be utilized around your farm or world. There are currently three maps to explore with different terrains and varieties of dinosaurs, as well as three different seasons.

Foraging - this is the kind of game where the same items will spawn in the same location. There are differing forage options per season, but they're always located in the same spots.

Farming - pretty basic with no real unique elements besides being able to assign helper dinosaurs to plant and harvest crops for you. Crops are used for cooking, feeding to befriend dinos, and questing fulfillments.

Questing - my least favorite part of this game as the quests really just involve you running between different characters to deliver items. There aren't really any adventure quests, puzzles, mini games, etc. It's just "this character needs stone delivered" type quests.

Once you unlock the third region, things really slow down and you're not able to gather resources as quickly. It becomes much more of a resource grind at that point in order to pay for more dreamstones, habitat decor, and ranch decor. The DLC added some extra interest when it comes to new dinosaur coat colors, but otherwise just added a few cosmetic items. Hoping that the developers are able to find a new reliable backer to help them continue this game as it certainly has room to grow and become even more enjoyable to a wider audience.

When I first discovered Paleo Pines, it seemed fun, cute, and exactly the casual game I was looking for.

Unfortunately, this game was not for me, and I can’t recommend it.

Positive:
- The dinos look and behave really cute.
- The music sounds nice and adds value to the game.
- There are many color varieties of dinos you can discover and befriend.

Negative:
- Although you can collect different color varieties, it’s limited by the amount of dreamstones you can find in the world. Without a dreamstone, you can’t keep a dino, so you’re not really able to “collect” them.
- The dinos have stamina, and once it runs out for the day, there’s no way to replenish it. You’ll have to wait for the next day to use them as helpers again. Apparently, you can replenish a dino's stamina by feeding it the right treat. My bad.
- The overall story lost my interest quickly, and I ended up button-mashing just to move on.
- The NPCs weren’t engaging; their dialogue felt boring and clichéd, so I didn’t feel like talking to them more than necessary.
- Some tasks and controls weren’t intuitive and weren’t explained well by the game.
- The quests were mostly “fetch this and bring it to that specific NPC.”
- There’s no option to enter or decorate your house.

In summary, the aesthetics are nice, and the dinos are cute, but the overall gameplay wasn’t fun.

This is one of the cutest and more original games I've played in a while. Sure it has some similarities with other farming sims but it also has dinos that you can ride. I do think this game is still a bit rough around the edges (mainly some animation and a few mechanics) but I'm sure it'll only get better with time and possible a better pc (currently playing on a laptop). If you like stardew's farming, animal crossing's cuteness, and dinos you'll like this game.

The gameplay is super fun and engaging, and you'll end up playing this game for hours! There's lots to explore, collect and style, and there's always something new to keep you engaged!

I adore the artstyle and graphics of this game. The world and it's creatures are super cute and the game's visual style just screams "cozy". The music in the game is also pretty nice, not a major aspect of the game but support the relaxing vibes of the gameplay well! And don't even get me started on those cute little dinosaur noises!

Talking of dinosaurs: They are the main selling point of the game. There's a big selection of them available and a LOT of different color variations of each dinosaur! I personally like to "shiny hunt" the ultra rare color variants and everytime I find an ultra rare color it makes me super excited!

The basic gameplay loop is pretty simple and I find the easiness of farming relaxing! I absolutely LOVE that the dinosaur friends - both big and small - actually can help you at your farmwork! These dinos aren't just cute but also very essential and helpful to run your farm!

The NPCs have some nice personality to them and some of them struggled with stuff that personally resonated to me. Especially Marlo's storyline sticked with me and resonated to me a lot.

The biggest beef that I had during my hours of play was the fact that there's a lot of collectibles in the game, and I have no way of checking which items I've already found and from where, which made it frustrating to hunt the last remaining few with internet guides.

Overall I really recommend this game for anyone looking for a cute and cozy farming sim with the dinos being the focal point!

utterly adorable, delightful little farming game. extremely cute art style, the dinosaurs are all incredibly huggable, and it's lovely to make friends with them and keep them happy and pet them. really good game.

I love the cute simple style of the game and the relaxing atmosphere! I like they use some less known species such as corythosaurus and some gorgonopsids!

One feature I'm iffy on is the time restricted dino spawns and how fast the day/night cycle is. I saw a rare color of deinocheirus or Duck as I call em, and I wasn't sure if I could even house him but I didn't want to lose the rare spawn to i tamed it anyways.

Started playing and couldn't stop for 30 hours. I love this game, I love using the dinos to do work around the farm because it is so much easier and I love going out and seeing what rare dinos are out that I want to take home. I also bought and played the Halloween DLC already, which was cool, although I do have some tips for that as it's not fully explained in-game: First, the "trickster" is the person with an unlit stack of three pumpkins, and if you find them first, everyone gives you 3 candies instead of 2. Once you collect candy from all the vendors and friends, you can put the candy out for dinosaurs BUT you need to put out a full stack of 10 for them to do anything. There are a few mechanics and things I had to look up for this game, but overall I actually do like that it doesn't hand-hold too much through the game. There is more info in the help tab on the menu as well, but some things are just easier to Google.

Paleo Pines is a good game for very young children and people that will enjoy it for what it is and nothing more. I have been following the development of this game since its concept in 2019 and am THOROUGHLY disappointed, especially with the recent DLC releases. It's clear that the devs are more interested in selling plushies and merch than improving their game. The human characters are uninteresting and stiff, the dinosaurs have 0 personality other than 3-4 animations. The game. The gameplay loop is dull and monotonous: care for dinos, water plants, and go forage/look for new dino colors. Thats it. Every few days you can sell your crops for some money to break up your rigorous routine but thats the whole game. you scoop poop and look for pink t-rexs.
Originally I was hoping that when the new dlcs announced they were finally going to add this swamp region that characters mention a couple times, especially with the addition of sarco, i thought maybe you could ride it to the swamp, give dinos a new ability. No. just clothes, decorations, and a halloween reskin of the dinos.

Overall, i was really hoping for a good dino farming sim, and instead got a low effort paleo cash grab.

Pros:
- The dinos ARE very cute
- The game has the potential to be GREAT

Cons:
- Clunky controls / Boring gameplay
- Low effort dlcs / updates
- Focused on merch not their game
- After a certain point a lot of dino skills see little to no use as there's nothing to use them on later
- for being a very simple game it can run a bit clunky sometimes
- Quests are boring, most being fetch and delivery quests.

If you are going to buy Paleo Pines i suggest waiting for a sale as currently, it is NOT worth $30, maybe more like $15 MAYBE $20 if the devs started caring.

This has been on my wish list since 2022 and I finally snagged it on sale, about a year after it released. And like many games that I say "that looks cool, I'll add that," it ended up being a disappointment. This is NOT a $30 game AT ALL. This is borderline unfinished. Getting myself motivated to play this after the first go was very difficult, but I gave it an honest try.

My experience of 2.6 hours and half a month in game: Immediate frustration and confusion at the controls and then disappointment upon seeing the human NPCs (why are their names the same color when speaking? They couldn't even so much as make them distinct??). I kept getting lost in the map because all the hills and bushes looked the same with very few landmarks. I needed more cash because everything was very expensive but the only way to earn money was to grow crops, which took days, and the only thing to do in between waiting was smash debris and do quests. But the quests are fetch quests and some were even "grow a bunch of crops" quests... and some involved picking plants I never even found despite scouring (dandelions). After a while I just started waking, watering the plants, then sleeping, so they'd grow and I could finally get money to buy things. Bought a$100 ($100!!!!) pastry to befriend a new dino, just to be rejected when that dino didn't even like them. Got frustrated and called it a night because I just wasn't having fun.

Pros:

- Cute dinos and pretty environment. You get to ride the dinos which is awesome.
- ... I can't think of anything else.

Cons:

- Unpolished, clunky controls and UI. Why is the character on a grid when walking but when moving a dino forward you can turn smoothly? That was a clear choice made and it was a bad one.

- The human characters look kinda... unappealing and samey. They look cheap and uninspired, just uncanny to look at.

- It's in the same genre as Stardew Valley but... not very fun. Slow grinding, boring surroundings, flat characters, fetch quests with little reward, items are too expensive, you can't skip the eating animation when trying to befriend dinos... etc.

Overall I wish I could say "meh" instead of no. Because really this game, from what I've seen, is just... meh. It's a little cute and riding dinos is fun. But everything else is just unfinished, unpolished, uninspired. It's missing that special something to make it worth playing, and riding dinos, especially with such poor controls, is just not it. There are way better games in this genre out there :(

The game itself is cute and fun.

However, locking entire festivals behind paid DLC is scumbag behavior. If they want to charge people for full DLCs I think that's fair, or if they want to charge people for cosmetic items for the player I also believe that's absolutely fair. Locking gameplay mechanics and events behind a price-tag however in an already very bare-bones game with little to no replay ability does not give me hope for the future however.

Unfortunately I can't recommend a game that price-gates things so basic to the farming sim genre as festivals.

I like the game. It's cute and has dinos, but:

- The game is out now for about 1 year, but still feels like on the beginning of an early acess. In this time it got one update.
- So the whole game feels unfinished and there is the question how much there is comming next ... and when.
- The game is definitly not worth it's full price.

So sadly I can't recommend this game. It's simply unfinished and the devs seems to want to promote their plushies, or are very unexperienced. I hope the best and wish the best, but I worry about the game.

It's such an amazingly cute game - i'd recommend it for everyone. I personally found fun in collecting rare dinosaurs and trying to 100% the game. No matter if you just want to enjoy a sweet, comfy game or if you want to actually get into grinding. I'm so excited for the new DLCs too <3!

Not much to do. The world is pretty empty. Extremely repetitive gameplay.

Paleo Pines is an incredibly beautiful and relaxing game to enjoy. I have loved this game from its beginning and am looking forward to seeing where the devs take it.

Still looks like early acsess to me. Clunky controls and navigation, no voice acting, flat characters, and empty world. The only positve thing in this game for me is a lot of dinos. Got it for 50% off and despite that still got a refund.

This game is adorable and charming. It's a nice cozy game the does a lot for the collector in me. Having the dinos help with farming and exploration is great. The designs for the dinos is so cute and they gave them adorable animations and reactions. Named NPCs have multiple lines if you choose to keep talking to them which was a nice touch. I love how my Ouranosaurus wiggles in happiness! I have recommended it to friends. I love it.

This game is really nice, and I'm always a fan of cozy games, but Paleo Pines can't really hit that farming game niche for me!
Its a very beautiful game, but at this point, its extremely bare bones, and more of a "dino pattern collector" than a farming sim.

There's very little that motivates me to play in the game. I got all the dinos i like. My farm is pretty neat, and tidy, and im guaranteed to get all of my daily quests done. I'm just waiting for the season to pass!

On top of that, the game over-explains certain functions, while others are left to be understood by the player through guides. It was overwhelmingly hard to understand how to tame other dinos, and the "treat taste preferences". After a while, the slog of having to re-discover the pattern of dinosaur i wanted, just to scare it off, and THEN use up all of my treats to unlock the next treat quest was just miserable


I have great hopes for this game, and maybe I'll amend my review in the future, but at thus point, i'll be finishing my cosplay and shelving the game for the future

It's a little tough to get a hang of the controls and such, but once you get into the groove of things it's a really fun and cute game! It immediately stole my heart for having my favorite dinosaur sooooo... :D

After 90+ hours in this game, I have some thoughts.

I had a lot of fun in this game, especially in the beginning when everything was new and fresh and I was just playing to farm and catch dinosaurs rather than play anything else, and I had a really good time. Once I set my sights on completing the game, that is where the fun ended and the woes begin.

If you want to treat this game as a slice-of-life farming simulator, then this is the game for you. If you want to actually complete this game, you are in for some major frustration.

The Good:

• Good and fun game, neat mechanics
• A must play for dinosaur lovers
• Farming is generally fun
• Catching mechanics for dinosaurs is fun
• The dinosaurs are cute, props to the design team!
• The ultra rare spawns are fair despite being sparse
• The quests are cute

The Bad:
• The human designs are GOD AWFUL AND UGLY. At first I thought my character was supposed to be a child due to proportions, but then I met two other characters in the game who are clearly adults. One has full face stubble and the other has massive breasts. The latter is weird because everyone looks like toddlers so it looks like a toddler with massive bazingas. She even has a romance storyline quest. I did not need these toddler characters to have a romance in my dinosaur game. Strange decision by the devs.

• 100%ing the game is tedious. FINISHING the game (all character quests) is tedious. Achievements are also locked behind 100%ing the game. REALLY tedious. I have one more questline left to not just complete the achievements, but the GAME. What started out as a good experience has quickly turned into: rush through this day, see if this NPC wants to talk. No? Okay repeat.

• NPC quests are slow. Just like mentioned above, NPC quests are timegated with no clear indication of how long I need to wait before checking in with an NPC. This means the end of the game is just dragging out instead of finishing on a high note.

• Resources don't respawn in a meaningful capacity, particularly wood. EVERYTHING in this game requires wood. Building, cooking, quest lines. I diligently went for every wood spawn I could throughout the game and I STILL was barely chugging at the end to have enough wood for every quest and cooking recipe.

•NPCs teleport. I will find myself running toward on the map only for her to literally teleport in front of my face to the other side of the map and then I have to trek to go talk to her. This isn't a bug, the NPCs are designed to be in certain areas around certain parts of the day. However, some quests only trigger when that NPC is in a certain spot, so if they teleport, you are SOL and must try again tomorrow.

• There is no schedule to tell you when a merchant NPC will be in the towns that day. It makes me have to run my ass and waste time to go see if they're even there and memorize what days they're not.



Bugs I ran into:
• When cleaning up dino poop, they will try to 'show' you where the poop is. However they will KEEP trying to show you meaning they bump you out of the spot as you're doing the animation and you have to readjust to clean the poop. Very annoying.

• Dinosaurs do not always respond to your flute. You can't direct them to tasks or tame them without the flute. This is most egregious in Find Dinosaur from Mari, but I have experienced it with wild spawn dinosaurs as well.

Lots of really cute dinos. Some of the controls are a little clunky for actions that you do on the ranch like watering or targeting. I used keyboard. Very cute game though. Very binge-able.

I love the game, it's a very chill environment without the feeling of being rushed to do things. I do wish for some things to be edited eventually but they're not a big deal. But the game is overall polished and really well put together. Definitely worth the money if you enjoy chill games like the Sims 4 or Stardew.

I do wish it was easier to get forest wood... I expected the logs that you can break in the woods would strictly give forest wood but they only give regular wood, so the only way i can get forest wood is running around every day and picking up like 3-6 pieces if I'm lucky.

I wish there was a neutral option, I love this game. I mean it's animal crossing with dinosaurs however you can only have a finite amount of dinosaurs and the turnip quest to advance the story is insanely hard. I have gotten one turnip and I need three. It's easier to find Waldo at this point.

This is a simple, feel good, end of a hard work day kinda game. Anytime I need to de-stress or just want to vibe, I play this game. I come from other dino games like the Isle and Path of Titans and have had a love and fascination with dinosaurs even in my late 20's. I've always been a fan of little completionist games like this, especially ones where you can collect all kinds of colors. The best way I can describe this game is, the busy life of farmville, the fun of shiny hunting in Pokemon and the appreciation of dinos all combined into one. I've recommended this game to many of my friends and now we are all obsessed with it. I hope there are more DLC's in the future. My only note... add more customization options in the game for decor and GIVE ME MORE DREAMSTONES!!!

This game is very cute and relaxing to play. It gives a similar vibe to that of Slime Rancher. If you enjoy cuteness, dinosaurs, and farming, look no further

I really wanted to like this game more than I do, but I feel like it infuriates me more than it gives me enjoyment.

Pros
- the dinos really are cute
- farming is always fun

Cons
- it gives "baby's first unity project", if you know you know
- everything is so far away with no quick travel (that I have seen or unlocked at least) this makes the game a chore when every day you're basically exploring the whole map again and again in search of resources and to check on any new dinosaurs
- no minimap, no visible clock. you're going around blind and have no idea what time of the day it is. you have a bigger map but it's very inconvenient. it doesn't help that the maps, especially the forest just look the same in every corner
- everything is expensive. the dinosaurs eat SO much. I'm scrambling to collect every flower on the map every day just to keep these damn things fed, and on top of that you have to BUY things like fences and gates for them.
- there is NO crafting system. the only things you "craft" are the things you can trade for from the builder dude and he wants a pile of resources and on top of that even more money.
- even the cooking system eats so much vegetables that it's easier to just ignore that whole thing and pretend there is no cooking. just sell the vegetables.

This game is just adorable! There are many types of dinosaurs to explore! Can there mabey just be a skip for the tutorial? Not just skip a bit, like the whole thing? Over all, the money is worth this game.

the walking controls are a little bit janky sometimes (when trying to interact w/ something mainly) but that'd be my only minor complaint.

It's a super cute cozy game. Only thing I don't like is the map...I wish it had icons on it of the dino's you discover, I hate running all over looking for the ones I've found but forget where they are that's super annoying.

Absolutely adorable, charming, and beyond fun to play.

This game is the cutest, most lovely, well made Dino game I have ever seen and have had the honor to play.

The graphics are wonderful and beautiful
The art and animations are fantastic.
The story.... ohhh the story is just amazing. You really start to feel for the characters and get immersed in their own story. You will find your self greeting their dinos every time you see them, giving pats and smile every time they purr or shake their tail. You really want to help your dino Lucky in her own journey, and you will become totally addicted to collecting and studying the different dino colors.
Keep asking questions or talking to the characters of the world, they may have secrets to tell.

Other Pros of this game are;
Naming your Dino 'Pancake' or 'Sir Fluffy Bottom' is not something to be ashamed of. It is highly encouraged by the Community of fellow Paleo Pines players.
You will grow to hate onions more than you did before playing this game.
You will learn that hording everything will be a constant problem.
But it can be a rewarding one as well.

Your RL day will actually be better because Lucky was happy you visited her today.


Lastly.... Join the Dev's Discord. They really are caring people and value true input from the players and community.
They don't shame, or get snooty. and the community is really great and kind.

I had a lot to say about this game from the jank in which it controls movement to how absolutely infuriating it is to actually progress (NPCs will just go MIA for ingame months), but it seems reviews do indeed have a character limit and I went well beyond it. I'll have to shorten this a lot.

Tl;dr: Do not buy this game. This is like breeding for a shiny in pokemon but somehow even duller and that's almost the only thing to do. You will be following the same route and checking the same spawns for a dino if you're the color collection type. If you're not, your gameplay will be agonizingly boring as there is so little else to actually do. There are so many issues and annoyances I would never, ever recommend this unless they're all fixed (which I doubt given what I've seen).

Mod support would very likely save this game, but the devs are against it which is another reason I will never recommend this game.....t's doing the same thing again and again with timegating and insane jank to controls and how stuff works.

Also DLC just got announced as I was considering posting this or not so that's...not a good look given the game's announcement history is pretty much "buy my merch!!!"



Gosh I love and hate this game. I have many more hours on a friend's account and did end up getting it for myself on sale, but it was only because I got tired of having to borrow it if I want to play. It was very begrudgingly done.

I'll start with the positives:

-Sound design is absolutely great minus volumes on some things and maybe a few sounds not fitting. Many share sounds, as expected, but it's still cute. Some environmental noises can be too loud, like rain on a tarp, but I do like the fact such sounds exist there to begin with. Lovely touch. Also the "yippee!" makes me laugh each time I hear it.

-Dinosaur designs are ADORABLE. There are some personal gripes I have about some designs, but those are nitpicks I personally dislike and won't go into. I adore most designs and I found myself especially fond of the tyrannosaurus, the dimetrodon, and carnotaurus. I loooove those guys so much. I wish ceratosaurus had more patterns because his current one isn't great, but if he had a better one he'd be in my top favorites for sure.

-The fact dinos can roam from their enclosures is great! I wish they did this more, actually. It's fun seeing them wander around the ranch and adds a lot of charm.

-You can pet and feed dinos and they will play cute animations when you do so. They're simple, but very charming.

-Dinos have special abilities to help with stuff, though this can be a mixed bag as some unlock...way too late.

-The environment design is charming for the most part. My favorite biome also feels smaller than the rest which is a bummer, but man...the forest area is LOVELY. I adore being in there and wish I could put my ranch in that area instead. Absolutely charming.


Now for the cons which can be incredibly large in many cases and are why I can't recommend this game despite enjoying it (Ark syndrome™):

--This one is a big one: the amount of dinos you can have at any one time is harshly limited. This is a game that pushes you to collect colors and different dinos but it won't let you collect them...it's...horrible. The excuse given is that no more than 45 can be in one area or the game starts to lag, but as SO MANY have pointed out, you could just add another ranch OR another area to the current ranch that goes through a load screen. Most every area is a loading screen anyway...why not....it's terrible.

-It's clunky. Like horribly janky. Like I despise playing this even as fun as it is. It just feels wrong with how many steps you have to do to do certain things and sometimes if the character doesn't line up JUST RIGHT you end up not getting the response you want. Trying to flute toward one dino and another BEHIND THAT ONE somehow gets summoned instead happens a lot too. Trying to pick up something and your character decides to just not turn around/go to far/etc. They let you pick up stuff from mounts (selectively) recently, but it is way too limited. Dismounting and remounting to access/pick up certain stuff is tedious along with the notebook not registering stuff. I could go on.

-In that same line, the fact you either have to carry a ton of items around or risk being unprepared when you see a fancy dino SUCKS when the inventory is so small.

-The fact some NPCs can just vanish when you need them or aren't where they should be so you CAN'T BUY STUFF FOR ENCLOSURES AND DINOS. One character in particular that anyone who has played this game has wanted to throttle with their bare hands is especially guilty of this. I missed a window to make ALL SMALL DINOS have ANY use at all because I didn't realize I needed to talk to him more or something so my tiny dinos were just useless for ages. Also the quests involving him really take up space. Why have him asking for quests when he won't show up for like another ingame month?

Need to buy something to make a pen? Too bad! The owner of that stall is out somewhere you can't get to.

Need to order rope for a quest that prevents you from seeing dinos? Nope! She's IN THE AREA YOU ARE TRYING TO UNLOCK like 90% of the time. Finding her is a nightmare and you better pray you have everything you need when she's there. Also after that, you get to wait more ingame days for your order. Nice. Animal Crossing felt less forced than this. People have said this feels like padding time to prevent refunds and frankly I agree with that. It takes FOREVER to get to finally taming dinos and if you skip the tutorial then good luck figuring out the wonky systems they have. Most still aren't explained (like tender dinos which to this day have discussion threads about them).

-THE QUESTS. They are so bad. Timegating is strong here too and everything is just fetch quests. I could go on but character limit.

-Some small animations are cute (like the petting/feeding), but most are lazy at best. Movement looks incredibly lackluster most the time.

-Some dinos have a few patterns while some (poor ceratosaurus) have just one and it's not that great...which leads me to...

-There is no mod support. For a singleplayer game. None. People have been asking for it but from what I can tell and have seen, the devs are very much "their way or the highway" types and you can see it in how they interact with the community. I'll never forget on twitter seeing someone make a mod for Jurassic World that put Lucky in it and the devs acted disgusted by it until adding 7 HOURS LATER (after people called out how trashy such behavior is) that they're actually happy about it. Uh huh...seeing your community pour their heart and soul into something then stomping on it is not great behavior. I hear nothing but unpleasant things regarding the devs and suspect mod support will remain nonextistant which is a shame as it could really liven things up. I really didn't want to buy the game because of this especially...

-On a similar note, unlike the dinos, the human designs are atrocious. Personality wise and design wise, they're painful to look at and interact with. The closest one I come to liking is the guy who's gone most the time and caused me the most headache. Hearing distant "yippee!" is great, but it won't save these little gremlins for me.

This makes creating nice enclosures such a hassle because now I'm limited on dreamstones AND space because of space needs and dinos not wanting to have buddies. This should be togglable in some form.

In the end, while I know this is a lot, it's because I wanted to love this game, I really did, and a part of me still does...but it's so marred by horrible choices, devs, gameplay, and design all throughout. I could never recommend this unless so many things get added and changed. Sadly, with what I've seen, I don't see that happening.

Man, i just love having a game that just relaxes me, a game that's there for me when i need to sit down and have a cup of tea. That is this game, oh and dinosaurs!!!!!

I really like this farming sim. You can build a herd of dinosaurs to help you around the farm and when you're exploring. It has some interesting story lines that I have not completed. This is on my list of games I want to go back to at some point. It's a beautiful and adorable game that is a nice take on a very saturated genre right now. It has decorating elements too for everyone who loves that!

I love dinosaurs and I love being able to switch off and look at adorable pastel dinos. Enough said honestly. The game is beautiful and the dinosaurs are all so cute - I'm a simple girl, give me some accurate dinosaurs from various times in history and I am A for away!

The fact that my microraptors can help me farm is such a bonus. I do wish we could decorate the dinosaur pens more, but hey, you can't have it all.

The controls for your character feel a bit clunky sometimes, but other than that it's literally perfect for me. Collect all the dinos!!!

It's cute and colorful. I don't like the design of the humans even a little bit, but the dinosaurs are pretty cute, which is why I purchased it in the first place.

I got bored with it very fast. The quests are all fetch quests. The world is pretty, but ultimately feels very empty, and the "story" is basically nonexistent. None of the NPCs have interesting stories or personalities.

If you buy this game, expect your news feed to be absolutely spammed with ads for their dinosaur plushies and no actual updates to the game itself.

I wouldn't bother wasting your money on this unfinished, boring, empty game. Cute concept and design, but extremely poor execution. The developers don't care about fixing bugs/QOL, addressing community concerns, or actually updating the game, they just constantly push out advertisements for new plushies or merchandise.
Cant even refund it because i gave them the benefit of the doubt that there would be an a$$ on this game.
- The story is INCREDIBLY short and boring. No effort is put into NPC dialogue or character development.
Quests are literally all fetch quests, (bring x to y) and very repetitive.
The world is big and empty which then turns the game into a walking simulator.
Character customisation is shallow and empty, - not many options (if any really) - and little to no clothing.
No crafting system, and "decorating" the farm is just sad and pathetic. There's nothing to do or buy. - Cant even build in your house.

All in all, this game never gets updated, bugs fixed, or quality of life changes. Hopefully you won't waste your 40$ on this unfortunate sad, empty, lifeless excuse of an early access game. buy on sale for 15 or less.

Of the last 12 posts that Devs have made, 9 of them are advertising plushies, mostly Lucky's. Of the others, 2 are talking about puzzles, 1 is begging for reviews. Meanwhile various Quality of Life fixes that need to be made are getting ignored, including the issue that stops me from playing more; the audio sounds incredibly tinny. Until these issues get fixed, I'm going to say pass on the game. It's cute and fun to play, but the audio sounds like it's coming out of an early 2000s cheap speaker set, even when they're playing to my high-end headphones.

Wonderful, cozy little game. It has so many colorful designs for the dinosaurs. Great story, and lots replay ability. Fun game to play to pass time or just to have fun! The community, and Devs are lovely.

This game has been an absolute blast from start to finish.
The ability to run a ranch with dinosaurs is awesome in it's own right however the fact that you can find "shiny" dinosaurs (ultra-rares) has kept me hooked and tickles my serotonin/dopamine receptors and I fear I'm incredibly addicted to the sheer joy I feel when I find them.

I have dedicated countless hours hunting my white whales, I've still yet to find a melanistic Troodon however the hole in my heart is slightly alleviated by the 183 other ultra rares.

I expect that any future updates will be as good and rewarding as the ones they have continued to drop so far!

P.S WHERE DOES CORLAN GET THE CARNIVORE KIBBLE FROM? IS IT DINOSAURS OR.... OTHER RESIDENTS? I NEED TO KNOW.

A casual, simple, adorable little farming sim with dinosaurs. I like dinosaurs. Highly recommend to anybody who just wants a feel-good game without a lot of brainpower or focus needed to really enjoy it and have a great time. Did I mention the dinosaurs are the most adorable things I've ever seen? No? The dinosaurs are the most adorable things I've ever seen. :)
