An absolutely adorable game, whose gameplay matches the name on the tin! You are indeed a Little Kitty, in a Big City, and the gameplay is delightful! You must navigate the city as your little cat self, assisting other animals of the city along the way as you try and find your way back home.
The visuals are fun and pop, the controls are wonderful, and I adored finding and completing all the little side quests. It's just such a fun and relaxing game environment.
The gameplay and quests I found not to be too frustrating, and I had easily completed over half of them just by wandering around and doing as I pleased (as a cat should!)
My favorite part was locating the ducklings, as well as just the visuals overall. This game is great, and definitely worth the time to play!
Really enjoyed this game, relaxing. Fun to figure out. Would play this when my baby is asleep till the next feed 😂 Thanks for creating a kitty's perspective type of game, it's adorable and utterly cute 🥹 Worth every penny
It's a super cute and cosy game, it has such a simple concept and very entertaining characters.
Such an adorable game! I love the simplistic style and the main character, the black cat. The side characters were charming, each with their own personalities. My favorite, personally, is the chameleon. I enjoy running around the environment and finding little hats and easter eggs. The achievements are easy to complete although some may be a challenge for others such as the achievements where collecting items are required.
The only issues I had with the game were that I sometimes glitched through objects, the objects glitched through the floor or wall, and I had difficulties swatting items where the objects would not move or barely shift from its initial position.
Overall, this game is adorable and I recommend it to those who enjoy cats, collecting, and exploring.
Very cute, relaxing and funny game. Exploring the city, completing side quests and finding your way back home. The cat mechanics are perfect. From the vocalizations to the movements, it was all on-point and done so well. This is ultimately the best cat game i could find with a reasonable price.
I absolutely adore this game! Being a cat person already makes this a big draw card, but I was enthralled by the cute art style and jovial soundtrack. Exploring the city as Kitty is fluid and fun, and all the interactions within it are incredibly wholesome. I wish the game was 10 times longer!!!
very cute game about a cat making his way back home. The writing sometimes gets long winded but is overall charming. I liked all the little hats you can get for the cat to wear though it's a little disappointing how many are just from the capsule machine. My only big con is that the quests seem to have little relevance to completing the game. You need enough energy to climb back to your window, which you get from eating red fish, which are just around town. I think it would've made more sense if they were all side quests rewards but the intrinsic reward of completing the quests was fun enough.
Game makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I wish there was more city or another city to explore.
i love running around being a little cat, the story is cute!! i loved finding all the little different hats you can get:)
This is a nice, non-violent puzzle/exploration game. There's enough in-game explanation for most things, and I found the dialog a nice mix of clever, silly, and useful. I don't regret spending the money.
This game was a real treat. Just simple, silly and fun. Getting to cat around and do pretty much most of what you would expect a cat to do was great. My only gripe is that it was a bit on the short side. Still, was very worth it to buy and play when you just want something to enjoy.
Pretty fun and simple game hopefully it gets an expansion or sequel in the future really want to play more
Really good game like goat simulator 3 and untitled goose game combined
This game is purr-fect for cat lovers, like me!
9/10. Love this game, very cute cat and art-style!
Little kitty takes a tumble out the window and now he's on a grand adventure stealing bagels, getting pets, and parkouring around the streets collecting hats and shinies. I really love this game, it's so cute and charming and who can have a bad day when you're just a little cat in an apple hat napping in a spot of sun?
Stole phones, stole fish stepped in puddle lost all bearing, lost my fish.
Broke many pots and and got pets from the humans.
Found a lizard hot boxing the porta loo (kinda freaky).
cleaned up soda cans and stole many more from people walking (I tripped them)
Really cute and fun game! Idk if they will, but I would love some DLC or maybe a sequel with the same characters because my only real issue was that it ended, lol.
This is a great game for animal lovers (especially cat lovers). The Japanese setting is charming, and it's fun to explore this little neighborhood through the eyes of a cat. Definitely check this game out if you want a cute cat game, or even just a fun adventure game.

I love this game! The art style and quests are so much fun, I am really enjoying exploring around the city. The main objective of the game- get back home- is rather easy. Overall this game has a casual play style, which I tend to prefer. The one complaint I have is that I was not able to set my controller up for game play and ended up using my keyboard. This wasn't the end of the world, but struggling with the configuration settings only to make zero progress with it is very frustrating. The controls for the keyboard don't work as well as I'd imagine they work for a controller, but I was able to figure out the best way to move around after some practice.
This game offers a fun, relaxing adventure with a touch of mischief, much like Untitled Goose Game. You’ll interact with various animals and help them along the way, creating a charming experience reminiscent of Pets Cats 2 or The Dog Island, with simple yet engaging animal interactions. The main goal is to make your way back to your apartment after taking a long fall. Lacking the strength to climb back up on your own, you must gather fish to build the stamina necessary to scale the rooftops and reach your home at the top. You’ll roam the city below, meeting animal friends who will help you on your journey.
There’s more to do than just reaching your apartment. Hidden throughout the city are adorable collectible hats for your cat to wear. These can be found in various locations, earned through quests, or purchased from the crow. This encourages exploration as you search for these cute treasures.
The game boasts beautiful, smooth animations and engaging quests that are simple yet satisfying. While there are occasional bugs such as clipping through walls or NPCs phasing through obstacles these minor flaws do little to detract from the overall fun. The atmosphere is lighthearted and stress-free, making it perfect for children or anyone seeking a laid-back, cozy adventure. it offers great value for its price.
One of my favorite games. It is so simple, so fun, and adorable. This game is a great way to relax after work or studies, freak out over how cute the cat is, and enjoy the simplicity. Even my 3yo nephew loves this game, cause of how the cat gets scared of the puddles, makes him laugh every time.
I recommend this game to any cat-lover chill gamer looking to rewind.
This is ultimately the best cat game i could find with a reasonable price, i love how the cat has the abillity to trip people as it gives a feeling that the developers put thought and effort into this purrrrfrect game!
A super adorable, fun game. The cat mechanics are perfect. From the vocalizations to the movements, it was all on-point and done so well. This was probably the most fun game my boyfriend and I have played in a long time. There were many scenes and dialogue that we laughed at loud. Completely heartwarming and more than worth it's asking price. Even though we completed the main storyline and made it back to our house, I plan on going back and playing more to get all of that hats and achievements. Highly recommend this one, I loved it completely. Bonus points for the "meow" button which sounds so realistic, that my own kitty, Maeve, was insistent there was a kitten hidden somewhere behind my monitor.
There is a lot you can do: quests, play hide and seek, catch birds, solve multiverse stuff with a tanuki, help a doggo who lost his balls. This is a cozy game with a great attention to details, I enjoyed every single minute of it.
best cat game ever. fun story, fun gamplay 10/10 would reccomend.
This game is just what it says - a little kitty, in a big city :) really enjoyed it. Big stretches, scared people, sneaked on birds, naps, met cute animals and knocked things over. 10/10.
SUPER cute game. Loved it. 100% completed in nearly 5.5 hours in my first run. Most frustrating thing was collecting 100 cans to recycle. Not a bad thing as it keeps you playing. Anyway, absolutely adorable.
best 22 dollar i have ever spent. i freaking love being a silly mischievous kitty
i love how big the map is and the little critters u meet r so lovable
I LOVE THE POTATO PUPPY he is the cutest sweetest thing ever. its a good day to be a dog lover
also the little kitty u play as is just the cutest thing ever??? i couldn't help but take soo many screenshots
i spent a ridiculous amt of time getting all the achievements and every second was worth it. i think..
Have you ever wanted to be a cat, lazying around without a care in the world?
well here's your chance!!
Would recommend for anyone that wants a cute cozy game, able to play at your own speed finishing up tasks or have fun tripping up humans to grab their food. 10/10 cat experience.
This is a great game to relax. Just stroll through a typical Japanese city in the perspective of a cat.
Sometimes there are smaller glitches (when I clipped or jumped somewhere where I was possibly not expected) but in general the gameplay is smooth and just chill.
Fully recommend.
What a fun relaxing game for all the cat lovers out there. I thought that I'd just play to unwind and I ended up finishing the game. The animations are super cute, especially the main character, Kitty. I recommend this game for anyone who enjoys exploration and hidden achievements. All the available hats are darling on your lost kitty. What a nice little surprise game.
I think this is THE essential game. There's nothing else I could ask for that is in here. It is a live open world full of a loveable cast of characters with their own quirks and funny stories to tell, with lots to explore.
There are important quality of life features like the map and the warp portals to quick travel, I would loved if they gave us the marking of the quests in the map or something like a marker before completing the game, but that is a nitpick IMO.
And the kitten, oh my god the kitten is super lovely with a funny little face and all the hats available make him even more cute, even non-cat persons won't be able to resist this little fella's charm.
The mechanics are fluid and intuitive and you get used to hanging around the town as a kitten quickly, although the jumping sometimes were unpredictable and the aim had some bugs here and there.
This was the most fun a wholesomeness I had in a long while. Totally recomend.
5/5
One word – perfect. I love this game! I had my eye on it for a while, and I don't regret deciding to buy it! The story is great, the overall look of the game is incredibly cute, and the gameplay experience is excellent. I recommend it to anyone who loves cats and open-world games with tasks to complete. When you combine these two things, you get exactly this game. I absolutely love how playful, funny, and creative it is. From the many ways you can annoy random passersby to the beautiful outfits you can find and dress your cat in! It would be amazing if the map expanded with more tasks in the future because this game is truly flawless! I will definitely play this game again several times.
A cute little game, hidden things to find in the world while having a sweet and simple over-arching story.
I really enjoyed playing this game, the quests are unique and fun to complete. The only thing I would change is adding more quests so I can play more. I 100% recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a game to play in their spare time.
This game is realy good it is so much fun. It is also realy funny and it is superduber realistic
The Perfect Cat Simulator. I can be an absolute bastard and feel no remorse.
Wonderful game from start to finish. I like a game that gives you just enough to play and lets you figure out the rest. I'm not going to write a lengthy review. If you enjoy a fun and simple story, exploration and puzzles you accidentally discover then give this game a try.
I am giving it the thumbs up
Cat theme, and Cat antics are great fun, really fun, short and
The price hurts for price vs play time, especially when you put it up against the Goat
Goat Simulator
It's a fun little game honestly and really cozy, and I did enjoy playing it.
However, its extremely short for the price. I completed the whole game in 4 hours and got 100% achievements in 6 hours. For the amount of game play and the price even on sale was too much in my opinion. If they add more to it then it would be more worth it.
Overall, it's not a bad game at all and I did enjoy. The price to amount of game play and the story is extremely short. So much more could be added into this.
Honestly, with that name (and that price) I expected a bigger city. The playable area is so small the fast travel provided is wholly unneccessary. A better map would have been much preferable, but the map provided is cute.
But it's still a cute game. Expect around 3 hours if just working through or 6 hours to 100% it (and if you plan to.. You can put cans into the small blue recycle boxes and meowing at cell phone zombies rarely gets them to photograph you. Ah and exit to menu/reload replenishes all destructibles. you're welcome)
It's basically a 3D jump and run where they managed to capture cat movement as good as Stray. Well except the way too short jump length/height, that was kinda pathetic, cats can easily scale up 1.5-2 meters, little potato should train more!
I should also mention that the camera likes to be behind obstacles so you can't see your kitty.
And I wish the second or third fish gave you, I dunno, kitty shoes or the determination to walk through water. At that point you found ways around all the water patches anyway, and they're just annoying traversal blockers.
In the end, if you like cats, if you ever just watched cat movies on youtube, and if you like 3D Platformers/collectathons, you will like this.
The question is just the price. Because as said, you can probably complete it in 1-3 hours and 100% it in 6 (not quite sure, still working on the cans and photos), so it's a very short game where the explorable part of the city is very small. Honestly 30 bucks feels too much for that. Stray is als $30, and stray has like tripple the play time and way more stuff to explore. Sure, stray is 2 years old by now but still. IMHO this game shouldn't be above 20 bucks. Get it on a sale, like the winter sale right now.
Also just mentioning, this is another game where there's a steam overlay telling you to use a controller.. And it works perfectly fine using mouse/keyboard. I played some bad JRPG ports that hardly worked with PC peripherals at all that didn't have that steam splash page XD
This is a great game, and it makes for a really good gift for people with less gaming experience. It's fun, cute, and neither too difficult nor too trivial. If you know someone that really enjoyed Untitled Goose Game, they'll love this too. I got this game for my partner and she has been unable to put it down.
Absolutely adorable and a blast to play. I only wish there was more. Favorite part easily was the chameleon sidequest, I love its design and voice blips. Would love to see more from this game or these devs!
Okay, so like, I absolutely love this game. It's a wonderful little sandbox game that looks great, plays great, has great writing.
I love the characters, especially Tanuki.
By my god, can we talk about the marketing of this game for a second?
I'm sorry, but the trailer of this game leans way too heavily into it being much more comedy focused than it actually is. To a degree of presenting itself almost as a meme game. It's a pretty bad trailer in my opinion, to a point that if it were my first exposure to this game, I probably would have never had any interest in trying it.
In reality, LCBC does have comedy but the experience overall is much more chill and laid-back. It's kinda the perfect open-world game by my standards.
It's... Ok.
That's the problem with Steam's review system. When you see "Overwhelmingly Positive", it makes it look like an exceptionally brilliant game!... Even if it's just 6'000 people saying "Not bad, I guess..."
It's not bad, it's just... Not great. It's extremely short, the gameplay is pretty dull (there's nothing exciting to unlock in terms of new abilities or meaningful upgrades) and the writing is equally mediocre. Were it not for the cute factor this would be a mega thumbs down... But for now, I'm just going to say: Overrated.
Most fun being a cat I have ever had. I am glad LKBC was not more challenging, as simply enjoying felinity is the whole reason to play. I think this game was perfectly designed in scope and style. Enjoyable for any cat lover.
I was hoping for a game similar to Stray where you are an adorable kitty but more wholesome, and this is perfect! It's soooo cute and I love dressing up in my funny hats. I also love breaking shit
I am so sorry for this negative review of what is a delightful concept and simple game made by an independent developer, but that does not give anyone the right to not only over charge for a game, but an incomplete, buggy mess at that. I am hot off the trails from replaying Untitled Goose Game and the entire Dredge series, and honestly, both of those games did what this game could not for even less of my money and way more game play hours.
The movement is clunky and finicky, and do not even bother lining up your next jump because...welp, you've just glitched somewhere again or clipped through under the map again or got forever blown away from a vent again (no really, my cat got perpetually "blown" away for so long I had to force shutdown the game). For a game I 100 percented in under 9 hours, I should not have been forced to shut it down 3 times that amount.
Glitches and bugs aside, the game play needs to take a stance on how it feeds information to the player. At the start, it seems like it will tell you all you need to know on how to move around and further more, it reinforces that by continually telling you what buttons to press to pull, drop, or deposit items; however, it does not do that all the time for other movements, making it infuriating to figure things out yourself when the game started off presenting itself as a game that would spoon feed you.
Lastly, I'll be that snowflake and say that I do not think the NPCs in this game should be allowed to swat the cat. I was trying to get a can to recycle and it caused two NPCs to trip and one of them hit the cat. No. Full stop. I know this is a video game and we are annoying to these NPCs and they can finger wave, sneeze, or storm off all they want...but hitting animals in a cute, cuddly kid game is gross.
Also, with that last thought in mind, I will say I was really sad at the laundromat area. One of the washers/dryers is open and the cat can enter it. Nothing happens...but...unfortunately cats accidentally dying due to sleeping in washers/dryers and the owner not noticing is simply not unheard of. I feel this is completely unintentional, but still a complete oversight. I would have loved an educational opportunity where say an NPC kicks you out saying "now now kitty, I know these spaces can be warm, but please never do that again, it could be dangerous."
Would love for this studio to next time either release a beta version of their game to work out bugs, or wait for everything to be fixed. Oh, and regardless, lower the price. 25 dollars is an outrageous amount of money for what we were given.
more like little kitty, block of city..
id say its short and sweet a cute little kitty game where you need to get back home
i got 100% in the few hours i played so its not too hard to find everything (except those darn rubber duckies)
little tip: you can recycle cans!
Definetely an adorable and fun sandbox to explore with your Kitty. I enjoyed my short time with it. I kinda want to give it a negative review just cause 20 Bucks for 3 hours is OUTRAGOUS of a pricing. But unlike Stray that was the same playtime for 30 Bucks this one is sliiiightly more reasonable. Cmon Devs the game is good, but if you make a 3 hour indie game ask a fair price for it.
