My child has played the mess out of this game. He has installed many different mods and laughed way too much playing it. Sometimes I need ear plugs, but he is having much fun with it. I would say the purchase is well worth it with allowing him to be creative.

its supper fun camapin is a litle repetative but sandbox with some mods is epic

played for 62 HOURS just such a good game and especially withmods with custom maps

Teardown’s got awesome graphics and super cool physics blowing stuff up is just so satisfying and relaxing. Plus, mods take the fun to another level. Highly recommend if you want to mess around and get creative!

I liked the different maps that you can choose from, and I also enjoyed the variety of tools and weapons. This is a phenomenal game, and I would recommend this game to many players.

you do not know how fun it is destroying everything you see with mods or playing the campaign normally, i genuinely think anyone who has anger issues or destructive tendencies should buy this game, its worth it when you buy it, its worth it when its on sale, and its worth it if it even goes up in price, ive already spent near 50 hours on this game and i have not gotten bored and im even having more fun than ever

The game is fun, but the trailer is a bit misleading.
It gives off the impression you'll be doing GTA esk heists during story mode when actuality it's timed logic puzzles.
If you're stupid like me, you'll give up on figuring out placements during setups fairly early into the game and just look up walkthroughs on YouTube.

Teardown is a very fun game that is enjoyable for all ages, and is meant for the type of people that like breaking things or just being totally destructive. So if you are one of those two people, then I definitely recommend this game for you.

go to play then mods and type WHATEVER you want and install it to play with it. my fav is the glare.

the story is interesting, how you go around completing orders, most illegal like a historical site demolition, and the system where you are kinda double sided, doing jobs for two enemies wrecking each others places (lee chemicals and that fancy mansion). its destruction system is like no other i have seen in gaming. so fun!

Just beat the game's campaign and I gotta say.
Just mod the game to get all the tools for sandbox. Some parts are fun but the whole thing ain't worth it.
Sick game either way though.

it is the most funnest game because it has truck cars and you can role play or have fun

this engine is a marvel, and somehow also has some of the best car driving physics around right now. unfortunately, i get absolutely no satisfaction out of the timed heist missions, which feel to me more frustrating than engaging. just destroying buildings to watch them fall over is fun for a while, but you want some variety.

i'm writing this because another physics/destruction-based game, Deliver At All Costs, just came out and showed that there's a great way to utilize destruction without it getting boring or relying solely on time limits: delivery. each mission puts a little quirk/mutator/whatever you wanna call it on your car traversal that causes you to be more likely to run into buildings, all of which are completely destructable. it's sublime. putting a similar system into teardown would probably be difficult given the limited space of each map, but man. how cool would that be. if the teardown dev could figure out dynamic loading of larger open worlds, it could open up so many gameplay opportunities that aren't so beholden to strict time limits. it would make some of the large maps modders have made run a lot better, too!

A speedrunning game pretending to be a destruction simulator. Not really what it says on the tin. I won't say it's an inherently bad game but it just isn't what it pretends to be.

it was moderately fun, i guess...
the premise is great but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. you'd think the challenge would be AVOIDING alarms, creating your own pathways to get around them with the destruction tools at your disposal but uhh
nope. most of this game boils down to "occasionally break things except not really because every objective in this game is as fragile as a piece of paper and will either immediately set off an alarm or just explode."
didnt take too long for this gameplay loop to get incredibly boring so i just installed a workshop addon that stopped the timer when you set off an alarm. game was remarkably more fun and better paced when i installed it

amazing, community content is one of the main reasons of my opinion but the base game is genuinely one of the best ive seen and played.

Good game, if you like sandbox but also a cozy (relative to person to person) story then play. Also good community for mods

this is a fun sandbox game with lots of mods to choose from by far one of my fav games

I'm 7 minutes in and the alarms and unbreakable walls that you need to get past to complete the challenges are starting to get really tedious. I was expecting something more fun than this

I've spent a lot of time blowing stuff up and I finally gave the campaign a try.

Not a fan of the frustrating time trial "collect 5 computers" missions that they throw at you, I'm glad you can skip them but BOY are they tedious.

Could've used more tearing down and less picking up.

Great game though.

My son saw this game on YouTube and begged me to get it for him. He has put in over 200 hours. That's saying a lot considering his ADHD. He loves the jurassic and spongebob mods. If you love shooting, blowing up, and destroying buildings, then this is the game for you or your kid.

The game starts off very fun and easily keeps your interest, but midway through it begins to shift into these really intricate and time-consuming planning sessions just to complete a little side mission with no reward. Once I did 3 missions that required nearly an hour of setup for a 60 second event, I lost interest. The game is fun, sure, but it tries really hard to make a what should be a simple destruction-based "here, go break this" into something way more complex than it needs to be.

Just my opinion though, I'm sure many others enjoy it.

A Lego dream come to life — a physics sandbox dressed up as a heist game. It’s less about action, more about clever puzzles: figuring out how to tear the world apart just the right way, shaving seconds off an escape route. Every map feels like a quiet challenge to think smarter, not faster. The destruction is satisfying, but it’s the planning that really sticks. Bought it for the puzzles, stayed for the simple joy of breaking things.

I was expecting the voxel destruction and the crimes, and there's plenty of fun to be had there.

What I wasn't expecting was a whole puzzle game in planning out your heist route to grab every objective in a time limit. I wasn't expecting THE best fire and fire extinguisher physics in the industry. I wasn't expecting more vehicles than most GTA clones that each handle differently, and many have some extra function like the dump truck or forklift. I wasn't expecting a narrative that progresses bit by bit through each main mission.

The voxel destruction alone sold me, but that simple premise is done with surprising width and depth. Well worth the asking price if you enjoy making blocky buildings crumble before your mighty sledgehammer (and its other, spicier friends).

wow, just wow, the game is amazingly detailed and realistic! the sound effects of the particles colliding is just realistic, Its a very fun game!

But... if you were to ask me is this game fun I would have to say, yes, also yes.

This game is a blast worth it at any price up to and including twenty nine dollars. Hell, even if it were twenty nine dollars and ninety nine cents it'd be worth it. What a game its got it all. Physics based voxel destruction it runs well and its soon to have multiplayer.

Mods are very good as well so if you run out structured fun in the campaign the mods add to the sandbox in a big way.

amazing game 10/10 would reccomend for a gift or to yourself personally its best to get the deluxe edition because it gives 2 of the dlcs

im on a ship as im writing this but this game is soooooo fun install TABS on the workshop you dont need a deluxe to have fun INSTALL TABS

An amazing destruction game with a series of missions varying from stealing documents in a mad dash to your escape, to destroying buildings that were built by the grandfather of the guy who told you to steal said files, pit two goobers in a petty fight with you being in the middle of the fun!
