What's with the AI? They remind me of Wreckfest and FlatOut. AI keeps crashing into oncoming traffic and they are not affected?? They crash into you, you spin out and you lose. Better play the earlier Drift Racing instead of this wannabe NFS... Not for a casual player...
Got potential but needs more improvements
Positives
+ Map with lots of terrain varieties (City, Highway, Docks, Mountain Road)
+ Good selection of customizations for each car. Lots of well known kits are available in this game
+ A garage system for storing your cars. This add a bit of immersion to the game
Negatives
- AI needs balancing, they stick to the racing line like a glue, when you race them and cross their racing line the AI will force you out of their way often making your car spin out. Catching up with them after a spin/crash is also out of question since they also sped up when you use nitrous. Forcing you to restart when it happened
- Lack of narrative/some sort of story. After the intro narrative there is nothing resembling something similar throughout the game. Not even in text form
I loved the game at first, it just becomes too repetitive. The grind is heavy and not very rewarding. It's got pay to win DLC now. Concurrent player count is down to 800-1500 though so you shouldn't have a hard time getting on their little leader board.. I wouldn't waste my time or money again.
Love you, bye
It's a bit rough around the edges but as a driving sandbox type of game where you can just go for a drive on some interesting roads and have fun with the cars without the pressure of performing at your highest race ready standard I enjoy it. I love rally but I don't always have the energy to race, and what's the point of taking it easy if the only metric in the game is how fast you went or what place you end up in. I used to fill the gap with Forza Horizon 4 but I'm enjoying this at the moment. Just a shame I have to drive on the right hand side. But drifting around being a loon in an MX-5 hasn't got old yet. For anyone with a wheel, it's not perfect. I'd really like if it didn't stall the car in manual gearbox when using the handbrake. It can be worked around by dropping the clutch but this isn't true to life and I'd rather not form bad habits since I drive in real life. I hope they will continue to develop the driving experience for wheel users. Also it could do with some more control over the force feedback because I have a 20Nm wheel and wheel snap and impacts can be pretty harsh and scary at times. I'd like to control road feel, suspension feel, and aligning torque seperately... stuff like that would be great. Desperately needed is the ability to look left and right in cockpit and hood views. Alsobeing able to turn off auto look in cockpit and lock the view to straight ahead like it is on hood view. Really hard to control a car when the camera moves independently.
i love this game. its honestly one of the most fun racing games ive played in a minute. the races drifting and customization is everything you want and ask for in a racing game. BUT the amount of glitches broken AI missing textures fucked up parts in the road and so forth are actually ridiculous sometimes. to start a lil background on who CarX is. they are basically a company that took the idea of many others and built it into one thing aka stole everyones ideas and turned them into a reality all in one. aka they stole shit. next and my only MAJOPR gripe is the AI. its IMPOSSIBLE for them to fuck up. they hit a wall and just continue driving SIDEWAYS???? yet they feel like a brick wall themself. if they touch you it feels like thanos just shoved his thumb right up your ass.
TLDR if you are willing to deal with broken bullshit AI that halts all progress on progress and can avoid/ignore certain glitches its 100 percent worth it BUT ONLY if you can do what i just specified.
The games optimisation is bad, i run 30 frames with a 4060 and a 9th gen ryzen cpu
DON't BUY THIS GAME
The grind in this game completely ruins the fun! The time it takes to get xp and money just so you can have fun with a drift car isn't worth it or any car. I bought both car dlc's to try and counteract this but it doesn';t solve the problem.
I'll say it once again, don't buy this game, you will stop playing it shortly because of how bored you will get with the slow progression.
fun game if you just want to play multiplayer and drive/drift around the map, but the AI races are AWFUL. Every single race the other cars are going to ATTACK you like this is Death Race and theyre trying to get out of prison! The worst part is no matter how hard YOU try their cars will NEVER SPIN OUT, literally glued to the ground. So if you want to buy this game for racing purposes this game is NOT for you and i would recommend something else like Asetto Corsa
Still handles like crap, runs poorly and looks like a 2015 mobile game. Stay clear
Good game, but its falls between the arcade, and realism. For arcade, there is too much options that you need to tune, or you slow. But the phisics is somewhat weird, so its not that realistic. Overall its not bad, for cruse in the city. But I dont like the races, the upgrades itself its not enough, I need spend hours and days, to get the last bit out of a car.(and becouse its not so realistic, and a lot misscalculating in top speed, its hard to get what you want.) The most annoying thing, if you swap engine, or transmission, all your upgrades dissapear, and if you want to swap back, you need to buy again, upgrade again. Its need to be fixed.
i love racing games, always have. i was raised playing them and ive played pretty much any racing game that ive seen. car x street is the new addition to my collection. previously car x drift was a great entry into what they can offer as a driving experience. safe to say, it was a let down.
but let me start with some good points, the graphics are great to be fair. the map has plenty of detail but clearly most of it went into the cars, which i completely agree with. the customisation, although confusing at first and pretty expensive, is great. but thats mostly where features are implemented from carxdrift.
now for the rest. Im currently running a 7900XTX and a 7800X3D for reference. the game stutters horribly and no FPS software seems to agree with each other with the game. its clearly not optimised well. so graphically, it looks great, but when you start moving or have a cutscene, it is horrible. when i first loaded up, my first bit of gameplay was non existent. it crashed right as i was about to drive the Porsche. from there on everything kinda sucked. i played with both a wheel and a controller to see what it was like. its disappointing. the driving experience was slow and not even arcade-like for an arcade game. and its not a sim racing game. even then it didnt feel like that either. after driving for a bit, i decided to switch it up and hop in a different car. why did they make it so annoying to do so? 3 cars per house? and if you want to purchase a car, you have to go through multiple loading sequences that are longer than any other game ive played. map size is not an excuse, if im playing the crew motorfest, i hardly have to wait. problem is, its not just for choosing cars. its for a lot of features which is rather annoying when you have to spend a few minutes of menu time just to sort out 1 car.
the driving option menu is also a love hate relationship. i love that they included it, switching to auto or turning off traction control is a great feature, but its so iffy and inconsistent. sometimes you cant even tell if it has changed something until you realise the car isnt driving like it should. you have to look for everything and take your eyes off the game to see if those are enabled. im sure after a while it becomes second nature but there are plenty of ways it could be improved. a simple colour indication when you switch that is eye catching. or an audio queue saying TC on or Manual on. or just a click sound. an indication in general would be nice.
now for the map. its pretty well sized but it just feels like too much. you drive around and it can either feel like you are moving so fast or that you are getting nowhere.
racing is also a bit odd. i understand its come from a drift game so its not going to be perfect but braking can feel non-existent more than it should. i can be slamming on the brakes and a car will slow down like an old lady in a parking lot. snails pace. responsiveness isnt too great either. some cars known for their handling, have little to no control. its like even in a race, the game wants me to angle up and drift rather than slow and take a clean turn. its possible to do it but not even i like to drift all the time. and at the end of the race you can either go through the longest and slowest rewards sequence or skip it all and feel like you got nothing. wheres the enjoyment in either? theres not even a middle-ground for it
so overall, the customisation and visuals seem great. pretty much the same as carxdrift but better graphics. but the gameplay aspect just doesnt feel fun. it feels slow and lacking in a lot of areas id rate it a solid 4/10. i love my customisation and graphics but the enjoyment for actually playing the game is just rare to feel.
Nah, this is cheeks. 70% positive? How? You're lying to yourselves.
My immediate issue with this game was the driving/handling model. Cars seem to either be super slidy or have insane understeer. I bought the deluxe edition, and it came with some Lamborghini. Hypercars are supposed to be fast and nimble. They're built for speed. So why is it that this Lamborghini cannot make a simple off-ramp turn on the highway going at high speeds? Are the physics and driving model just that bad? Is it this seasonal snow map weather for the holidays? Well I checked online and the sentiment is, by default, there's understeer on a lot of cars and you have to "tune them." I'm sorry, but that's cope. You're telling me that instead of the car being a fun platform by default that I can tune to my liking (think Forza or Need for Speed even), I instead have to tune the car so it performs as it should. That's not customization. That's working around bad design to make the game playable.
Even then, even if that wasn't the case... there's too much mobile game-itis to warrant this. Events already felt unwinnable. Even in a car that operates efficiently for the type of event you're doing, it doesn't seem like the high placement goals are obtainable without better cars and/or upgrades. Like even with the deluxe cars I was only able to get 3rd place on most events. With the starter car, you could expect a placement of either 6th or 7th place. I was worried that this game was going to be a massive time sink because cars/upgrades are expensive and payouts are garbage. But, okay. I decide to check out tuning. Maybe I'm blind but I saw no option to do tweaks to specific things on the car. It seems like it's all straight upgrades you have to spend your money on. Fine. I go to the tire shop because that's separate and that's when I noticed there was a percentage meter on my current tires. Then it hit me. There's tire durability. You have to pay money to maintain your tires. Then I noticed there was a fuel gauge. You have to pay money to fill the tank too. I wanted to check my car only to realize that to change your car on the fly you have to PAY A FEE to swap it. Everything in the game's economy is designed to drain you of your money. You're essentially forced to pay bills.
F*ck that. Refunded.
This game did a rug-pull on anyone who purchased their deluxe edition. To remove promised content after the fact is disgusting behavior, and should not be tolerated. I am beyond disappointed. Do better.
CarX Street is probably the most frustrating racing game I've played in a long time due to one main problem, the AI is horrible, not skill wise, design wise. They have a set path that they will always follow (they take corners exactly the same every time no matter what). They will make no effort to brake before hitting you, they will not try to avoid you, and they don't seem to receive any speed loss from most collisions with other cars, as opposed to the players car which will lose power the second you tap another bumper. They are also consistently so much faster than you, that it is simply impossible to catch up past a certain distance which depending on the race was as short as ~10-20 yards. There is no "catch up" mechanic, making the reset car system entirely useless in the format of any event (if you lose your drift you might as well reset as well, the scores are near impossible and it took me, a veteran racing game player that's 100% completed most need for speeds as well as Forza 4/5, the crew etc. upwards of 20-30 plus tries to complete) This is all to say, that if you miss a timing or god for bid spin out or crash, the race is instantly over. I enjoy a challenge, and honestly, this wouldn't bother me if it weren't for the AI forcing my restart 75% of the time. There are more frustrating things, performance sucks, I got 60-80fps on medium in 1440p on an RTX 3070 & AMD 5800x3D, and the game simply does not look good enough to warrant that level of performance. Launching cars is a massive pain in the ass, it depends on the car whether it will bog or not on launch, and I tried so many different setups on cars to see if I could get them to launch any better, and it just felt like at the end of the day, even if I spent 400k on suspension, tires, transmission, AWD swap etc, it only came down to the car, and that just isn't satisfying when it takes a long time to save up money. This (like many of the problems) wouldn't really exist if the AI wasn't impossible to catch up to, but I felt that in some of the particularly short races, it was even more impossible to catch up when I couldn't get a good launch no matter what I did from both a throttle pressure/individual skill standpoint and car mods.
Now the good, car customization is great, it's super satisfying and the many options are great to see. I come to racing games for what I can do to the cars, and there is no shortage of modifications here. The gas station mechanic swapping out different types of tires and fuel is great, the entire system is fairly intuitive and while it is an annoyance to run out of gas or tire in the middle of a race, I found the ability to swap my tires on the fly cool and would welcome that change to any game like this. The drifting mechanics are great, as you would expect from a company whose previous game was only drifting. Some cars sound amazing while others don't, high redlining V6s like the R35 GTR sound incredible while V8s like the Mustangs and Mopar's leave more to be desired. The first-person camera felt really good, and that's not always the case, I felt I had a much better connection to the car and could feel where it was at all times that way, and combined with the interior customization it makes for a great experience for First person drivers like myself. There are good and bad tracks, but I would say the majority are enjoyable. I like the wealth of race series options, and it feels like there is a decent balance of race types and speed classes. The open world isn't bad, that is to say, it didn't blow my mind, as I mentioned the game doesn't look great by any measure, but it's very enjoyable to drive around in.
This is a long review, and a tough one, because I really want to like this game, but in its current state, it is a nightmare to play and will frustrate the living hell out of you. I will return to this game in a few months if they update much of the game (as they are planning to), and will update accordingly, but at this time, I cannot recommend it to anyone other than people like me who've played most if not all of the available racing games at my disposal.
This game would be so much more fun if the computer racers didn't ram you every single corner. The game is pretty realistic, giving you options for legitimate car tuning (suspension, engine, transmission, etc.) MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT: The computer drivers in the races are the most aggressive out of ANY game I have ever played. You can't do a single race with out a computer competitor ramming you off course forcing you to restart. It makes no sense. The only thing I can think of is that the developers sat in a room laughing trying to figure out how they can ruin the game they just completed. I just don't understand. Why is that? I bought this game as a "Simulator" and it is pretty legit EXCEPT for the fact that every race is a bumper car competition. I bought this to test my skill over the preset computers and other players. It not only requires skill to beat the computers, but also knowledge of where they are going to hit you. Its wild. This is the only reason I wouldn't recommend it. Atleast allow some of us players to turn off collision with the computers.
The game feels so soulless. Render distance is terrible, seeing cars, and map rendering in front of your eyes kills immersiveness. The cars you are racing against feel like just a brick even the club bosses. The boss had a mini shortcut scene and didn't feel anything special besides that. City feels empty. Optimization is not terrible but for these graphics it is bad. I wanted to give chance to the game until the first boss but it just feel repetitive for nothing. I am kind a person who likes grinding though but even for me this was boring a lot.
A lot of players compare this with Need for Speed Unbound and finding this better but I completely disagree. It was feeling much more alive and it was way more fun. Even though Unbound's physics are much more arcade, this games is far away from simulation too. I am playing such games for pure fun with my gamepad. If I want simulation games I would play some serious ones with my sim rig.
Heads up there is no offline mode and this game does not tell you that up front in the description. Played the game for a little while everything was kosher took it with me to play during the holidays where I have no access to internet and didnt think anything of it for a singleplayer mode which is seperate from onlineplay. Met with a message on the loading screen saying cant connect to streetnet servers push a button to exit the game.
Had to check the name of the game again cause I thought it was diablo 3 for a minute with needing online to play singleplayer.
Shitty ass game, annoying car traffic, annoying opponent, trash rubber band, bad optimalization. 1/10
Race AI/CPU/whatever they use are on rails and use an entirely different physics engine than the rest of the game. Does not make the racing fun or competitive in solo player.
Don't bother.
Yes, I know its just a mobile game ported onto steam but its just plain boring, All the cars feel the same and its like the type of game you play for 2 hours and forget about it. Not to mention the DLC'S are absolutely shit. I got the deluxe edition of the game and ended up refunding it 30 minutes later. The physics are HORRIFYING. Overall, 3.5/10. I wouldn't bother.
worst AI bots ever. Dying to follow racing lines, will run you off the road if u are in its way. Doesnt care about anything whatsoever , just like how the devs chose this bot programming.
I wish there was an option to neither recommend this game, but not recommend it, because this game falls right in the middle of that. Think of forza horizon but only 3 types of races, Drift on a track, drift in a box, and drive in a line. Even though the map is pretty big and it looks amazing, i cant gloss over on how bad the drift physics are, especially if part of the game focuses on that. If only they added CarX Drift physics into this game, I would recommend it, but its mediocre at best.
TLDR: Buy this game if you cant commit 60$ for Forza Horizon.
horrible optimization, game can barely run. terrible AI, you litearlly win races by the opponent crashing into traffic.
Can't recommend this game as it is. AI car's will constantly and consistently pit you and slam into you making you spin out while they're completely unaffected. Ridiculously difficult to complete race's simply because of the AI
CarX Drift Racing Street Review – 35 Hours In
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
After 35 hours in CarX Drift Racing Street, I can say this game delivers a thrilling street racing experience with a focus on precision drifting and customization. It has its quirks, but for fans of realistic drifting and car culture, it’s a ride worth taking.

Gameplay - Skill-Based and Satisfying
The core gameplay revolves around perfecting your drifting skills while competing in races. It’s highly technical, so there’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you nail a clean drift through a hairpin turn, the sense of accomplishment is unmatched. The open-world aspect adds variety, with free driving sessions, races, and challenges scattered across the map.
The progression system feels balanced—you start with modest cars and gradually unlock better rides and upgrades. However, earning in-game currency for the most high-end parts can feel grindy at times.

Visuals and Sound - Slick and Stylish
The cars look fantastic, and the attention to detail in customization is impressive. From paint jobs to tuning every aspect of your car’s performance, it’s a gearhead’s dream. The city environments are decent, though some areas could use more polish. The soundtrack and engine sounds are immersive, though they can get repetitive after a while.

Highlights - What Stands Out
Drifting mechanics feel realistic and rewarding once mastered.
Deep customization options for both visuals and performance.
Open-world exploration keeps the game feeling fresh.

Cons - Where It Skids Off Track
Earning enough currency for high-tier upgrades can feel like a grind.
Some minor bugs and optimization issues occasionally disrupt the flow.
Online multiplayer lacks refinement—expect some laggy moments.

Final Thoughts - A Drift Enthusiast’s Dream
CarX Drift Racing Street nails the feeling of controlling a car on the edge of grip. While it’s not perfect, especially in terms of optimization and progression pacing, it’s incredibly satisfying once you’re in the zone.
For anyone who loves the thrill of a perfectly executed drift or spending hours tweaking every part of their car, this game delivers in spades.

Got the deluxe or whatever for less than 10 bucks. For what it's worth, the game is great.
The physics are not as bad as others make them to be, the graphics are mid, sure, but the colors and art direction are amazing if you ask me. The sound design is also great and the noises are accurate.
The map is huge and the tracks themselves are beautiful and varied.
My take - buy it, enjoy it, go for the vibes.
Sadly its very unsatisfying experience, everyone waited for so long to be so disappointed.
I`m not into diving in another game where i have the same cars over and over driving over same cities without too much difference in landscape.
Cars feel way too stiff, i tried all cars from deluxe dlc but its all just clunky.
Traffic is just like in gtav, they try to ram you or cut off at every single opportunity.
Game itself has some stability issues it cant hold stable 90 or even 60fps at some points.
While having the most mid graphics, oh well what you can expect from android game port to steam i guess.
in comparison Carx drift was amazing, this one just doesn`t reach the bar...
Only good thing about this game is Free Roam, the races suck... ai is not good at all and the only thing they do is keep raming into you like
My bad for not reading the reviews first, I thought the physics were going to be a high point but they're really quite bad. It isn't realistic but it isn't arcade either, so you have to brake as if you're playing a Gran Turismo game, but then corner as if your car wheels are bare and you've got expensive china on the passenger seat.
The AI don't seem to play on the same physics either, they can hit walls losing very little speed, and seem to have cars faster than they should for their ranking.
If you do stick with the game, make sure to turn TAA off in the settings, SMAA looks much better and it's worth the performance hit.
Terrible physics. Opponents don't see you and smash into you constantly. They drive like they're on rails, you drive like you're on diddy's hardwood floor after a party. Trash
Nice game physics on wheel (T248+TH8A) but AI is so aggressive. Feels like playing Wangan midnight 6 in arcade. Much more like combat racing.
after last update the logic carx street is:
- you crash into AI oponent = you lose
- they crash into you = you lose
- they crash in traffic = you lose
do somethig with oponent AI cuz they are like walls .. you cant play against AI anymore (when they want) [allways]
This game is poorly optimized, even on high end hardware with frequent lag and frame drops. Voice lines are AI generated and the physics feel really weird for a car game. The map looks alright, but there are noticeable clipping issues throughout the game. It feels more like a mobile port with improved graphics.
I bought this game when it got first released, I have played 11 hours in total. My honest reaction when I started was good but after getting every update I am seeing new bugs and glitches. I have much better PC requirement which is giving me 120 to 150 fps but I am having major fps drop. This game has no optimization. Also, they have extended the Map size but to access that new side of Map you have to purchase the DLC, no way I am no gonna pay to play such small portion of the map, Better work on game optimization which can give better user experience who can recommend other to play.
If you planning to buy this game than don't go for it, it is better to buy NFS Unbound, or any other series of NFS. Currently its all on sale so you can get atleast much better than worst!.
Racing game fans are brutal. If it isnt Forza Horizon, they hate it. This is a perfectly fun, chill street racing game. Customization is GREAT (truly top tier), cruising the map is fun, and 1.3 massively improved racing in endgame. The progression is slowish but rewarding. There are other activities to do to progress other than racing, like car deliveries. If you play GTA for the cars, you will like this. And as of writing, it is on sale for 10 bucks... I will say, this should be Early Access based on how much they are working on it and making changes.
This game could be so much more. The economy is terrible and takes too much grinding to build a basic car. Waste of money imo and I had high hopes for this one.
Welcome to the game that makes you pay twice for the main vehicle shown on the cover of the game, and breaks its promises (as well as steam TOS) of including a DLC for deluxe pass owners. These are not serious devs
This is the best racing game ive played in a long time, early forza horizon + early need for speed with a huge map and crazy attention to detail in the cars. this game got me back into car games, and my wheel out of the closet. Best racing game out, looking forward to getting all dlc
I find it hilarious how the CarX dev team keeps releasing those fake update patches. And let’s not even talk about the scam they pulled with the DLC. When CarX Street first launched, it was $10 for the standard edition and $20 for the full game with add-ons. Now there’s a DLC I have to pay extra for? Wow, these devs must really need that bread, huh?
Anyway, every time I check out the updates they mention, I see absolutely nothing new. Sure, the game looks great, and the cars sound and feel amazing to drive, but that’s literally all it has going for it. LMFAO, try racing against the AI or NPCs—one tap, and you’re out. The devs claimed to have fixed these issues in the last update, but why lie when players can easily see for themselves that nothing has changed?
I’ve put about 20 hours into this game, 5 of those on this account, and there’s nothing new to show for it. Their updates are fake. The game doesn’t change, and the issues persist. It feels like when players uninstall the game, the devs panic and drop patch notes to lure them back in, pretending the game is being fixed to give it another chance.
For example, I recently re-downloaded CarX Street to try their new "Public_Test" beta, and guess what? It’s the exact same as the regular game. The only difference is that my previous save data is gone, so I’m forced to start from scratch. Sure, the car-to-wheel feedback has improved slightly, but that’s about it.
Losing your progress in the beta makes no sense, especially when the game hasn’t changed at all. How does a beta like this erase a player’s save data when the gameplay is identical? My advice: don’t waste $20 on a game run by developers like this. They’ll tell you, "We’ve updated the game, check it out!" but when you do, there’s absolutely nothing new to see.
Game would be fun if I could play it but there's a horrible issue that causes the game to freeze for about half a second to a second every minute or so. Never had this issue with any other racing game or otherwise and no setting inside or outside the game will fix it.

Remove the scam mobile monetization shit from the paid Steam version! On the outside looking in, it appears the devs are lazy AF and left features designed to make them more money in the FTP mobile version in the paid Steam version of the game, creating frustration when swapping parts. It's so incredibly frustrating! Please fix it; I'd happily advocate for this game! I'm not happy with how the devs handled the DLC situation. It doesn't look well on them. They said, "Hey, let's port this over to Steam with as little effort as possible so our profit margins will remain as large as possible."
About to ask for a refund, cannot play with all this stuttering, why is there so much stuttering?!
This brings me back to the good ol' days of Need For Speed Underground.
This is a $15 game, not a $60 AAA game.
The game isn't even that bad ; People just like to whinge for the sake of it nowadays.
Its an alright racing game. Its great for "vibes" or whatever but its not a game to take seriously. Like at all. The physics are mediocre at best, and you WILL have to spend a considerable amount of time tuning, researching, and tuning again to get a car that is worth using. The multiplayer is basically dead in my experience, but the time trials are a bit of fun to get some end game currency. Prepare to exploit like crazy for those top spots though, as is typical for racing games these days.
I was going to recommend this game until the DLC problem that is mentioned in other reviews. It is a ported mobile game after all, so these kinds of practices aren't unusual. Still disappointing though.
If you're curious and the game is on sale... maybe. If you're looking for your next favorite racing game to sink all of your time into, look elsewhere.
Goods :
Vehicle Customization: One of the standout features of CarX Street is its depth of car customization. Players can tweak almost every aspect of their car's performance and appearance, from engine tuning to body kits. This adds a lot of replay value as you fine-tune your ride to suit your racing style.
Graphics and Environments: The game offers a visually appealing experience with well-designed cars and environments. The streets feel alive with a night-time city atmosphere, and the lighting effects give a realistic touch to racing under different conditions.
Driving Physics: The handling and physics of the cars are realistic, offering a good balance between arcade and simulation styles. This makes the game accessible to casual players while still satisfying those who want a bit more challenge in how they drive.
Open World: The open-world aspect is fun, offering a variety of races and challenges scattered across the city. You can choose to explore, participate in races, or simply drive around and enjoy the environment.
Bads:
Ever since the recent updates of newest cars is unobtainable and has to be paid to get.
Bought the Deluxe Edition, was told it comes with Deluxe cars and "Sunset Speedway DLC"..
Well they removed that. the part i paid extra for.. insane.. and unacceptable.
ive never been more annoyed with a game i had enjoyed. this is not okay. ever.
L Company. BOZO CEO.
if they fix this ill change my review. i can be bought to an extent lol
Scammy business model from Forza Horizon. You buy a Deluxe edition, they promise to include future DLCs, later they change the description and sell the DLCs separately. Besides that, the car sounds are horrible, AI behaves like you are not even there and drives straight into you. Music is good but not much variety so you listen to the same songs over and over. Car customization is pretty good but it cost way too much to upgrade and customize a car. Handling is horrible if you don't buy the best tires and you do need to replace tires and refill gas.

how the little has become the rulers
this series of games started life on a mobile phone and now look at them
well done is all i can say
this game is fantastic i love it there is literally everything i would expect from
an open world racer
the cars are stunning and much more in touch with the real car scene and not all stupid
super cars , albeit there is some in here
the level of customisation is class leading .. you even have fuel levels ..
these sort of games live and die on the levels of inclusion and content , so far this seems great
graphics is good however there is lots of pop in and graphical limits on passing cars and buildings sometimes
i get that this is too aid the smooth running of the game ,
audio is good very arcade like some realism but not at the levels of forza but nowhere near bad its still very good
the world is decently large with quite a lot too do - although the voice acting seems too just vanish after the first part
and not return so far .
now for the bad
the frame rate is all over the place one min its 100 plus then for no apparent reason its 12 then 40 then 20 then 70
this does affect game-play and does cause clipping and glitching ,
the DLC .. oh boy .. why was this such a mess on release and still why is some of it NOT included with the DELUXE
version of the game ,
the DLC is literally P2W for the drift cars ( I get that its a time saver too have them )
but people do don't buy it are at a disadvantage
saying that the DLC is worth the money and i have bought it and not regretted it ..maybe it should just be inclusive with
the DELUXE version of the game
overall this is a very good game and forza should watch out , if this company keep making games like this they will be
biting the heels of AAA very soon ... for now they are VERY indie-AA
9/10 recommended
controllers tested
xbox one - perfect
xbox 360 - pretty good some alterations
playstation 3 - pretty good
xinput - decent from the start some alterations needed
g25 wheel - perfect and literally better than most games
steam deck tested ( does not run well at all fps all over the place graphics are poor text is microscopic ) shame
Bought the Deluxe Edition on the 29th and was denied DLC keys because I didn't buy it between 10 a.m and 12 p.m...A two fucking hour window...When did it state we'd be screwed over on the deluxe edition? I do enjoy the game and It is worth the money but my review will stay negative and I will not support this game until this issue is resolved for the entire community. Can we have a game that doesn't turn on its player base? Could of at least lubed us up before you fucked everyone.
Edit: All of you who popped in here that got like an hour of game time to post a quick positive review and get the devs to look better need to quit the dick riding. This is a clear violation of Steam guidelines and who gives a fuck if it's 10 bucks. You want to let people get away with blatant false advertisement and walk all over you, be my guest. But just "dealing with it" and defending a scam isn't going to bring a well needed wake up call to all these scummy game devs. Go ahead and act like being lied to.
