I play this when I don't want to play anything else and just want to relax. I had this on PS3 too. I can't say it's the most fun or satisfying, and it may even feel like there are too many levels, but this isn't really a game to play just to get to the end. I don't know if/when I'll finish it. I only play in short bursts.
I played the demo for the sequel and, while I will likely buy it, I prefer the first entry, at least in some aspects.
I recommend this game. If anyone is actually looking at this for the first time and is on the fence about it, you can try the Eden 2 demo and see if you like that. It's the same, just more modern and tweaked a bit.
I'd probably rate this 3/5 or 3.5/5.
PIxeljunk Eden (2012)
Fun little game, you play as this little blob guy that can jump and swing upwards to collect like pollen orbs to make new branches sprout out to climb higher. That's about the game. It's fun for a little while, but gets somewhat repetitive quickly. Fun game to play between other games or downtime. I don't like the time limit you have to complete missions, it would have been much more enjoyable to just take it easy at your own time. Nothing wrong with a time limit, I personally just don't like it. The general feeling and vibe of the game is enjoyable, I really like the setting. I don't think this is a game I will be completing, maybe it's something you will enjoy.

This is a favorite game of mine from back in the PS3 era. However the issue is for quite some time every time I boot the game, its resolution is jacked and my control doesnt want to respond. For those willing to take some time messing around in the games files to get the resolution working its still an incredibly unique gem of a game deserving a play through. But it seems the PC version takes some love to get working.
