5 star gameplay but after a couple of missions the game just crashes. Can't get it fixed so until its fixed I can't play and since I have over 2 hours I can't get a refund.

I work at Pizza Hut and their was accident ,but me playing this game made me a expert on cleaning now I don't have to worry about leaving evidence behind and I also able to keep my JOB 10/10 Game

I loved this game. It took me roughly 12 hours to get all the achievements, for those wondering about completion.

Going into a catastrophic mess that looks untenable, only for you to put those gloves on and make it look like nothing has happened is such a satisfying feeling. I really hope that there is future content for this game, as I couldn't put it down until every level was spotless.

Fun and satisfying game, If you like VCD and PowerWash Sim, you'll probably enjoy this too since it has a lot of similar mechanics, It's simpler in some ways but more complex in others, it also has a mildly interesting story but I'm pretty sure no one is playing cleaning games for their story

Only real problems I had was the physics being a bit weird sometimes, The dialog doesn't always match the subtitles and some sentences having some grammatical errors, English might not be the devs first language, also wish the game was a little longer, I wasn't time efficient in my cleaning by any means and the game was over pretty quick (at least an hour of my playtime was while I was AFK)

$20 feels a little steep for whats here but I got it on sale for $16 and I'd say that is a pretty fair price

An enjoyably macabre subversion of the cosy genre, Crime Scene Cleaner combines the game-play of Jetwash Simulator and House Flipper and adds in an element of detective work. This element is minimal, but it helped gave the cleaning a little more motivation.

You play a janitor who ends up working for a ruthless gangster, partly through coercion but also since you have a very ill daughter who requires expensive medical treatment. This element is barely explored, merely being the thread that connects the scenes together, but an attempt was made and it's more than most games do. The voice acting is serviceable but the dialogue can be cringe-worthy at times and not in a good way.

There's secrets to be found, items to be stolen and a skill tree to make your work easier.
This latter element is welcome since the latter levels become sprawling and involve some minor puzzle solving to complete. I definitely appreciated the effort and would hope that this game does well enough that a sequel might mean a bigger budget and therefore more even more complex levels.

My only real complaint was that the physics are a little janky. Disposing of bodies and trash bags could sometimes be frustrating as the spasmed and shuddered on the bed of your truck, making grating sounds as they did so. Sometimes, they would suddenly spring into place, but other times they needed to be picked up and readjusted. This became tiresome a few times when the body count was high and the walk to the truck was long but, as cmplaints go, it's a very minor one.

Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game and I'm someone who found Jetwash Simulator tedious. It's worth the asking price but absolutely a must buy if you catch it on sale.

This game is surprisingly very relaxing but infuriating at the same time but that is just due to my clumsiness and knocking over that damn bucket haha. Also you get to pet the dog 100/10

I'll be honest, I was really worried about this game being boring but I can't seem to put it down. It is a nice change from playing happy cleaner games. I really hope they make more because I can watch crime shows and clean a crime scene too! Very interesting and funny at times. Highly recommend

For me, hands down, this is one of the best games of the year.

It’s honestly a masterclass in how to create an atmospheric, pleasantly repetitive, and chill gameplay experience using a limited set of mechanics that keep evolving level by level, leaving you wanting more every time.

If I had to nitpick, the only small downside might be that the graphics and some of the assets feel a bit “generic” (and maybe they aren’t free, but that’s just the vibe). But honestly - they’re used so well here that it totally works.

The main difference from most simulator games in a similar price range and gameplay style is the overall quality. I didn’t encounter a single bug, soft/hard lock, FPS drop, or any other issues.

The later stages might seem a bit overwhelming at first, as they significantly scale up the amount of work needed on a large location. But this is actually handled really well too, because as you explore, you start to find ways to automate and speed up the process. It’s super satisfying.

And those Dexter series vibes? Major respect for that.

Great game, lots of environmental story telling, but that's part of the fun for me. I love how you arrive to do one thing, and as you explore, find more things to do. I appreciate the taskbar on the left to help keep you on track as you go about business, and the narration helps make the game as well. Truly an enjoyable experience exploring each crime scene as you uncover the story of each life lost.

absolutely love the game, satisfying and fun with the scenes getting bigger and bigger and so plenty of stuff to do. just wish there were more places. but holy moly f-ing shat, the amount of times the bucket tipped over, i have ptsd when i go near buckets now.

This game is like PowerWash Simulator grew up, had a family, lost said family, and is putting their powerwashing skills to a life of crime as a means to get things back to how when it was good.

It’s got the satisfying game play you'd expect, but with a surprising story that makes cleaning up a dirty past oddly compelling. Can't wait to see what other messes we get to clean up next!

Nice game 7/10. Sometimes there are pieces of trash that is impossible to reach

Ya know, there's something very satisfying about this game. It hits the ASMR cleaning vibe with sass and dark humor and a touch of mayhem. Would totally play another if they expand this into a serious with some sort of upgraded something. Or just DLC. I wish I had been able to adjust my apartment myself, but I did like the upgrades between jobs. Also totally disagree with the game concepts of blood in pool water, but eh, game logic/physics/biophysics and the like. Hand wavy stuff.

Totally had fun. Relaxing. Chill. Recommended.

I havent had a game in a while that I actually missed after I was done playing it. Damn, I still do!
This is technically "just" a cleaning game, where the cleaning process is complex enough without being frustratingly hard, and the results are satisfying - but with a morbid cool twist. I enjoyed every minute of it and laughed multiple times when I zoned out while playing before suddenly remembering what I was doing; carrying/throwing around dead bodies and cleaning up ridiculous amounts of blood. Maybe that's not for everybody but for me, it was perfect!
The graphics were cool (making it toooo realistic would've put me off I think), the atmosphere always spooky but not TOO spooky, and the sound effects, music, and especially the absence of music made it even better.
WILL THERE BE NEW CHAPTERS?? WHEN?? I HAVE TO KNOW!

First it was a cleaning job which evolved into a much deeper story than such a simple gamedesign might assume you have.

I loved how the character and his flat changed ever so slightly over time.

Apart from some items acting weird when thrown/handled its was smooth sailing. I had one chair fly so far it vanished from the map and one painting that clipped through the wall I wanted it to be placed on and also fell through the map. I wasnt able to get a perfect score in the level with the chair so I had to retake it. But those were only two cases from houndreds of items being handled.

At least I got more points to upgrade my stuff from that.

About 1,-€ per hour played which definetly made it worth the purchase.

I discovered this game through Live Streaming.
The exciting game story, killing time (wasting time), open ending, etc. are the strengths of this game.

It's a bit scary game, but it's not scary while playing the game.
And it's nice that it supports multiple languages, but the translation isn't very good.
It's fun until the 2nd play, I don't think I'll play it any further than that.

If you like single player, I recommend this game

I like another game to the similar style, First Person POV, different perks. But I honestly just wanted to clean. The songs in the game are so fun and there's so many little surprises. I NEVER screenshot things in games, but I have quite a few just because they made me laugh or because they were really interesting. The story is really good, Breaking Bad but cleaning tbh. The chapters are all unique and cleaning never felt too repetitive.

Fun mechanics, but complete tonal dissonance with the narrative as I encounter gruesome suicide scenes only to have my character be in shock one second then make references to Spiderman memes & Tommy Wiseau's The Room the next.

A vast majority of this games dialogue is just that - memes & references. I can't tell what kind of vibe the developers were even going for when it's also peppered with such dark moments.

Further in the crimes get more over the top but a few of the early missions are just straight up gruesome with their presentation of suicide & murder/suicides involving mental illness that's soon played for laughs when the main character quips about it as he cleans.

The cleaning itself is a fun experience even if the crime scenes themselves also make no sense "This victim was taken by surprise, she had no chance" but the room still looks like a tornado of blood hit it knocking furniture two rooms away.

The upgrade system is interesting at best but nonsensical at worst as half your tools don't serve much function, a uv lamp to highlight blood? You can just use your cleaner vision and see it all highlighted anyway.

Ultimately I do enjoy the core gameplay loop but the writing & presentation feels like an edgy teens dream.

This game may feel gruesome, but if you like these types of cleaner games, this one is fantastic! Sure, the story isn't the greatest, and some of the way the people you have to clean up have died make no sense, but the cleaning feels so satisfying. I do wish a few things were cleaned up (no pun intended), but overall I highly recommend this one. To me, it worked really well!

I loved this game. Super satisfying and has some secrets hidden in each level to find. There is no time limit so you can relax and take your time. I love picking up the furniture and putting it back in it's rightful place to make it look like nothing ever happened. I didn't really need to use a lot of my upgrades though, since cleaning the blood becomes fairly easy after only a few upgrades to your sponge and mop, especially once you can put multiple cleaners in your mop bucket. I was expecting a pretty short game, but the levels get bigger as you go, until you reach the last level that is a 4 story factory that needs cleaning. It's a lot haha. I would definitely get the DLC if they ever came out with more levels just because of how fun this game is. It even lets you throw the bodies and the bags of trash, so I've spent a lot of time throwing them out of the windows and off of ledges, trying to see if I can get them into the back of the truck or onto the tarp when I'm inside buildings. Great game!

I've tried a few cleaning sims and I've enjoyed the genre since Viscera Cleanup and this clears all of it, I've never had more relaxing fun in a simulator before, The sly comments of the main character, the copious amounts of lore in the missions and in the safe-house between them. And the abundance of secrets to find for extra points? Above all else this game has so many hidden secrets that are just funny. No steam achievement, no extra cash to earn, no dialogue correlating, just you in the moment enjoying simple fun. 10/10 Game

Who knew cleaning up after criminals could be this... satisfying?

It is a fun, entertaining and satisfying game.
The game is a little short, it took me 9 hours to 100% complete all the 10 maps/chapters.

I wished the pressure washer was more fun to use, might be better if I actually upgraded it via. the skilltree.

I will say:
The story is very mid, you don't actually have impact on the story at all, it just unfolds around you.
The worst map is "Modert Art" because all the furniture is scattered around randomly throughout the entire map, and it's a big map.

But again, overall it's a good game, and is definitely worth 19€.

Great game. Def worth $20 imo. Simple,fun,great dialogue all things considered. Only downside is the lack of replay value.

This game is like House Flipper, but instead of cleaning and flipping crack homes, you go in and clean up after the mob. I found the game very relaxing after a long day at work, and it has a neat little story to it. It's a game that you'll want to play all over again just to find all of the secrets and get all the achievements. HIGHLY recommend the game, especially for the price. If you're keen on cleaning up blood, broken glass, and disposing of dead bodies, then this is the game for you!

absolutely loved it. the plot is thin and not super fleshed out, and sometimes it seemed like the main character's acting and writing was AI generated, but it is so so so so fun. one of the first games I've wanted to immediately restart upon completion. Really hoping for more maps as soon as possible!!

not just the cleaning, which is super satisfying and fun with the crime scene elements, but also small puzzles, hidden areas, and the options to loot. what's better than this. a great game to just relax and vibe with, constant dopamine hits. lovely.

This game needs an expansion pack, a DLC, workshop, anything. Is so f*** great. It's very immersive, yet very simple. I loved it. We need more content.

- mechanically it draws inspiration from Viscera Cleanup Detail and Powerwash Simulator, mixes them well and adds unique ideas and some improvements for a more relaxed cleaning experience
- varied levels, some with unique gameplay elements
- the main character is well written and voiced, his comments are actually funny
- there is actual story to the individual levels as well as an overarching narrative which works well with the overall vibe of the game, giving it a breaking bad-esque feeling
- the music choices are great, I've actually found a new niche band to listen to

It took me about 14 hours to 100% all the levels on a casual playthough and find all the secrets, and I'm hoping for some expansion to come at a later date.

It's a great game, however a bit short. Would love some new maps and missions!! And I would've loved to see his daughter actually be home etc.

The game starts off strong with a level of intrigue that hooked me. Then it rapidly declines into repeating gameplay while you play hide and seek with small items scattered around massive areas. The final few levels are a tedious waste of 1-2 hours each, and the ending was a massive disappointment that felt lazily rushed.

It is a fun and interesting game to play. I wish it was a bit longer and had more content. Some of the furniture items were difficult to find in a few missions. I would recommend this game to others. I hope they either come out with more content for it or another game. I'd definitely play more or another one. Looking forward to more!!!!

Fun relaxing game, best part is the setting as they manage to get the story into the mechanics of the game and gave it some sense to it.

It has great lore, outstanding voice acting, and super satisfying mechanics. The blend of spooky vibes and cleaning is just right—it’s a refreshing take on this type of game. I originally got it because it went viral and I just wanted to clean, but it hooked me in ways I didn’t expect.

Honestly, it’s a 10/10. Watching gameplay isn't enough—if you love cleaning and hunting for achievements, you must play it yourself. Only downside: that creepy horror house! I know the game is sort of horror, but did the cat have to be that scary?

In my top 3 best games of 2024, recommend the purchase - sale or not! DLC and more achievements would make this even better!

Great game. It's what I always envisioned from Viscera Clean Up Detail, and also takes aspects of Power Wash Sim. No fishing mechanics unfortunately.

Love this game. Super fun and its actually replayable!

Short and sweet. Has a better middle ground of complex and simple tasks than something like a power wash simulator. Unlike other cleaning sims, I rarely if ever actually got bored or had to push myself to finish a level. Took me about 12.5 hours, but I went pretty fast. Got it on sale for about $16. Well worth it.

Very fun game. I wish there was more but I have no complaints. It was very satisfying to watch the locations go from a complete blood bath to looking like new, no matter how tedious the work was. Accepting the mission and seeing a 10+ body count, you knew you were in for a good time

Really fun, it sucks i finished the game, would recommend it, stress relieving 10/10, i threw the bodies off the porch rather than walking down stair cases, i wish we can hang out w our dog more loved seeing how much the house improved the more we worked.

I got this game thinking it would be action packed and full of grossness, and *boy* did it deliver. First mission right off the bat makes your jaw drop with the sickness of it. The character you play has Some of the funniest lines i've ever heard. I have not finished the game yet, but i cant put it down!

This game just scratched an itch in my brain. After a full playthrough I have already started again to find all the secrets and achievements I missed. Loved the humour speckled throughout. The tool wheel was easy to use and each scene became more and more involved. Would recommend.

This game is great! It gives you the satisfying feeling of making a horrible place, clean again; however due to the brutality of the crime scenes it also makes you ask the question "Is what I'm doing moral?"

We are cleaning up crime scenes for an evil Mob Boss, but we are doing it to save enough money to pay for our daughter's extremely expensive medical bills. While the game is satisfying, the classic moral question is always lingering over yours and the character's head; 'Is it moral to do a completely heinous action, if your intentions are just?'

This is one part that separates this game from other "cleaning games". You aren't doing random odd jobs for random people, you're getting rid of evidence from brutal murders. You're not doing it for the police after they've gathered all their intel, you're doing it for a psychotic serial killer who, by the third mission alone, has murdered 8 people.

Over your time with the game you will also clean up other crimes that are not connected to the Mob, each with their own surprisingly detailed stories. For example in one of the crimes you visit a mansion, the first thing you see is a body above your head draped over a upstairs railing, blood slowly overtaking the glass panels. It makes you instantly think 'WTF has happened here?'. You look around the house and see furniture smashed, and blood soaked walls; there's been a deadly fight. You then collect evidence that shows an argument between a father and his daughter. The dad is persistent that there's something wrong about his Daughter's boyfriend. You then find... a dead body with a list of women's names and ages; all of them are in their early to mid 20s the same age as he is. Next to the body is a phone conversation between, this guy and a pimp. This guy messages the pimp telling him that he has found a beautiful blonde girl to sell to him. We then head upstairs to the bathroom where a blonde girl lay dead in a bathtub, wrists bleeding, razor on floor and on the bathroom table a suicide note revealing the whole story. This girl's boyfriend started dating her, pretending to love her with the final goal of selling her into prostitution. They then went to the house to finally make the "transaction", but the father came in saw what was happening and killed the Boyfriend and the pimp, he then fled the scene and called us to clean up the crime scene never knowing that his daughter laid dead in the bathtub in that same house.

Now obviously this doesn't SOUND as cool as it does in the actual mission, because I can't write a story to save my life. However the feeling of covering up a murder-suicide tears you apart. On one hand you're saving the Dad who murdered two horrible people who wanted to force his daughter into sex work as they had multiple other women; which most would see as a good deed. But by covering up that murder we are also covering up the crime of the Boyfriend and the Pimp; who seduce then sell women to the highest bidder. It creates this bitter-sweet end where you know the Boyfriend and Pimp have been brought to justice; however the parents of the other girls don't. You saved a loving father, but in doing so also doom his daughter from any justice of her own.

These moral stories are EVERYWHERE in this game, only becoming more and more tricky as time goes on. As you're stood there mopping up brain-matter from the floor with nothing but the lofi-beats in the background; it makes you really think if doing this is even worth it. We can save our own daughter but because of that we are also harming other families out there. Is one innocent little girls life really worth more than the tens of other people who we dispose of? That's something you'll have to answer on your own.


Anyway... oh yeah this is a game review. This game is amazing, it brings the satisfying tasks that most other cleaning games have to offer but turns it into a moral quarrel that you'll have with yourself throughout the entire game. The cleaning mechanics feel extremely refined, the unlockable music is genuinely amazing; although a little repetitive if you fail to find any other cassette tapes. The level design is top notch and the maps basically become a main character in this game. The missions are fun and rewarding without taking too much time, most finish within 35-45 minutes depending how efficient you are.

I highly recommend this game to people who love cleaning games, and honestly people who might want to start playing them. This allows you to solve mysteries alongside the cleaning mechanics and it's a perfect fit for anyone who enjoys either genre.

It's a fun game some things for improvement during the cleanup process if I remove a door or cleanup broken items. It would make sense that our character should have to replace the door or item. We're trying to hide a crime if things are missing for example an entire door that would be suspicious.

The maps are interesting to explore, the story is engaging and the tasks don't feel tedious.
I've smashed through 7 level's so far and don't see myself tiring anytime soon. I've had the song from the third level stuck in my head for days..

Obviously, being a crime scene based game, there are dark themes. So it's not going to be for everyone. If you're okay with this - Pack your mop and sponges, fill your water bucket and get the job done.. If only to come home and greet Dexter whose always waiting so patiently for you at the end of each job!

This is the best game after Power Wash Simulator. Its relaxing AND spooky. Love the dark humor and the story is actually interesting. It does have some glitches that need attention. But my only problem is that Ive finished the game and replayed twice and am desperate for more maps!!!! Theyve already announced more free content but with no release date. TT_TT
