My Beautiful Paper Smile (англ. “Моя Прекрасная Картонная Улыбка”) — это история о детях, которые воспитываются идеальными. Тот, кто смеет ослушаться, похищается руководством заведения. В игре вы предстаете одним из детей с картонной улыбкой, вы — часть всего действа. Но вы совсем не цените того, что сделано для вас. Почему же вы не видите того блага, в котором вам довелось принять участие? И почему же вам так не хочется вкусить ту прелесть, которая кроется за совершенством?
Вам не хочется совершенства. Вам хочется от него сбежать.
Рискните покинуть запертую камеру, исследуя помещение, где вас удерживали так долго. Решитесь на побег, кажущийся невозможным. Получайте помощь от неизвестных сущностей, не попадайтесь на глаза руководству, избегайте встречи с жутким монстром, разгадывайте самые страшные тайны, а самое главное, постарайтесь выжить.

I wish there was an 'eh/kind of ig' option for recommendations, but there's not, so
to save anyone time right off the bat - do NOT bother collecting the items there is no point
like many other reviews state, the best thing about the game it its art style. love it, freaky cool stuff
I was really intrigued at the beginning of the game - the lore sounded interesting, and I was curious about the world we were in. unfortunately, if you're someone who cares about stories, you will not be satisfied playing this. I read the papers available and paid attention to dialogue but the way the game wraps up is extremely dissatisfying, with little to no answers truly given. I honestly sat there like "that's it? is there a second game..?" (there isn't)
the gameplay itself is alright, there were some kinda fun aspects, but nothing lasted long enough to truly get into the mechanics, which I likely think is because they were so simplistic there wasn't much to actually get into. I wasn't annoyed or anything while playing, more so just 'this is fine ig', while ultimately being carried by the art and hope for narrative.
I think there were a few fun little spooks (the mask lol) and suspenseful moments, (those mannequins were eerie), but overall it was just, okay. I think the price is alright, though maybe would bump it down to $10
A very interesting world to dive into with such a unique artstyle!
it was fun but my friend died in this game but i did have the freedom of a life time so it was fun and i found secret messages in the game i leave the game and found one when i left at title another message in the game anyways your game was fun it was kinda hard but tried my best and i did it thank you the creater of my beautiful paper smile you rock good game guys good game.
For what it is I'll say it's good. Nothing groundbreaking but very serviceable with an interesting aesthetic on top.
