Had to refund it. Coop is SUPER buggy.
And it simply is boring. It only consists of holding E on some item and... thats the whole gameplay lol. The positive reviews make absolutely no sense.

As of now I don't think I can recommend this game just yet unless they can update the game more frequently in the future and fixing some fundemental gameplay elements.

The game concept is pretty nice, I actually like the labor of manually making the dishes. However with more recipes it could become very tedious if you wish to do variety which is the main appeal of the cooking lol. Resulting in the gameplay loop of preparing everything in the beginning of the day, spending majority of the time there, then sit back and do nothing until day end. There is no point to try to serve whoever that isn't getting their dishes because of out of stock, because their patience meter is shorter than the time to prepare said food. This also affects Hard Mode, which removes the self serving, but also makes making a dish a lot more expensive since with self serving station actually comes with 6 servings, making you need to do 5 times the work i guess lmao. I like the gamemode but seems impossible once you have 60+ customers as a single player lol.

Suggestion: Fix the Patience System so it is long enough, or make cooking a lot faster to compensate, oh and bunch of bugs like the sink that isn't the starter ones are non-functional for some reason.

It's hard to cook 3 kind of dishes in a day, so I kept my restaurant running (alone) by oreparing the dishes the day before, puting them in the fridge, and serving after heating with 3 microwave ahahhahhahahahahhahah

Very slow for updates and each update breaks the game. Played this one and all waiters stuck with plates. Cant fix. Would not recommend buying this game. Have tried to endure through all of it but unfortunately this is what happens with early access games

Great game, but unbelievable amount of bugs. This game has more bugs than ark did when it dropped.

Overall pretty good experience as for an early access game. Cooking mechanics are well designed, fun and not excessively complicated. Even though those few hours of playing with a friend in coop mode was great, the game desperately needs a lot of bug fixes. Some things simply disappear, some recipes have multiple glitches which forced us to restart the day. Graphical improvements would be more than welcome (especially character models, animations and better lighting system with proper shadows) but this is not mandatory as the game (gameplay-wise) defends itself.

i know its not easy to make an game but a game save mnechanic is not that hard people hate the Game save mechanic.

people are not allowed to get angry at delay of the game or they get problems.

I understand both sides,
Dev a game takes time and can have changes.

but as a consumer you have the right for a status updates and you can complain and talk freely about a game performance if the Promise has been broken many times.

Great cook restaurant game. The cooking is fun and not overly complicated and the game treating each dish as multiple servings is a good system. There are some minor bugs with some of the meals not being synched between players but a quick restart fixed it. I'd recommend to any groups of people looking for a good cooking game that is fun but not too complicated to learn.

Devs left the game. No updates in three months and the bugs are running wild in co-op after you reach a certain point in the "story". For now don't buy it.

Tl;dr game seems to be abandoned, became unplayable in co-op at a certain point.

This is seems to be a mishmash of jank and some neat ideas, but it is incredibly glitchy in co-op, wasn't able to progress past the third critic because they wouldn't order anything, so we just gave up.

Game does not get regular updates, the roadmap had dates that have come and gone without any updates. The Discord link they have to in the latest news post here on Steam is dead, and judging by the lack of any updates and communication since June of 2024, I do not think this game will have anymore updates. I would love to be proven wrong, this game does have some potential, but as it is, you may not even be able to play too much of this game in co-op, if that's your bag.

The game looks awful and needs some work, but it's a lot of fun with friends <3

is a fun cooking game

The idea of making a kebab is such a simple one, yet there is more to a kebab other than just the kebab. And I don't mean meat and other components, rather the human factor. A kebab needs to be taken care of, it needs to be loved, and nurtured. Of course there is also the aspect of preparing the actual dish, however, kebab chefs allows me to "Feel" the kebab, and not just make it. While making the kebab I sometimes feel as if my dead ancestors put their hand on my shoulder and told me they are proud of me. Allow me to reiterate, making a kebab is way more than just preparing the kebab, rather it requires the cumulative effort of generations, and the cooperation of many individuals who share the same dream; to make a kebab.

A really good restaurant sim with the feeling of being part of a community of people who have their own stores from which you buy your ingredients. Plus you sleep and can decorate your home and you can even drink at a bar. Totally recommended.

I think this game is super fun!

This game is a buggy mess. When collision issues aren't causing you to waste water and soup, you'll see customers completely ignoring table collision to walk through them. Plates sometimes disappear completely when picking them up or putting them down.

If you bought individual plates and wash them, they won't be placed into the clean dish bin, and you have to grab them from the sink while you're still "washing" it to remove it, else it will go back into the dirty plate bin and become dirty again. Sometimes you can't put individual plates back in the plate shelf, other times you can.

Plates also somehow end up in the clean plate bin while they're still dirty... *after* you just washed it. This causes you to prioritize the "dirty" plate from the clean bin and repeatedly wash it in an infinite loop. The only way to fix it is by putting the "dirty" plate back into the plate shelf.

These are just a few of the bugs I've experienced while playing the game with my girlfriend. Beyond that, the lackluster English makes it difficult to take the game seriously at times.

When it comes to simulator games, my expectations are typically very low because of the experiences I've had with them in the past. Games like this one only lower that bar further and make it difficult for me to go in with an open mind.

Do yourself a favor and look for something else. The core game here is fine, but the bugs make it a miserable experience that I can't, in good conscience, recommend to anyone.

Great game, scratches that itch of business sim and cooking sim

My daughter and I really enjoy this game. The only concern I have with it is that it doesn't always save properly. I always follow the "end of the day prompts", too. So not sure what the issue is.

I love this game, it's incredibly fun and addictive. However, the sync issues are a major letdown. As the host, everything seems fine, but my friend experiences rotten food, lights turning off, and customers getting stuck. These glitches really disrupt the experience. Fix this problem, and you'll definitely have a positive review from me.

Day 1: My father gives me the keys to the family restaurant insisting I carry on the legacy of kebabs. I gladly accept and start cleaning the place up for tomorrow.

Day 2: My father teaches me some simple recipes and lets me loose upon the trail of kebab fame and fortune. I'm feeling pretty good about this.

Day 3: I actually made a profit today and bought some new appliances for my restaurant. I will now be able to add more recipes and make A LOT more money. I hired a new worker to help out. His name is Javier, but I call him J.

Day 4: As expected, we've made record profit today! Time to celebrate at the local bar with J.

Day 5: I lost $2000 in blackjack last night and called in hungover. Don't worry I'll make it up tonight by winning it back.

Day 6: I lost today's earnings while gambling. Decided to sell my microwave to gamble some more and lost that too. Fuck...

Day 7: Had to let go of J today because I can't afford him. The health inspector stopped by and said I have rotten food in storage an the restaurant is filthy. I can't afford to buy more groceries for today. I'm gonna have to pull out a loan from the bank to stay a float.

Day 8: Decided to try and gamble my loan so I could make back everything I lost and then some. i lost it all.......... my dad is gonna fuckin kill me
