Crown Trick is a beautifully animated rogue-like RPG adventure characterized by turn-based combat and skill-item interactive strategy. Procedurally Generated Maze
The procedurally-generated maze ensures you have a different experience every time you enter the dungeon. But unlike traditional open maps, Crown Trick locks you inside of small dungeon room to do battle with monsters. Without access to the entire map, you have no choice but to strategically decide how you will mount an attack on the enemy.
Synchronous Turn-Based Strategy
The game moves as you move, and your enemies will stand still until you decide what’s the best way to attack. Take however long you need to map out your route, decide the best way to avoid traps, or how to use the elements to your advantage. A carefully thought out strategy is the key to escaping this dungeon alive.
Cast your Skills on the Elements of the Terrain
As you go deeper into the dungeon you will come across terrains mirroring a variety of elements that can be combined with your skills to deal heavy damage to the enemy. Throw fire on top of oil to burn monsters and mix lightning with water to electrocute your foes. There are a lot of lethal combinations to explore and use to slay monsters you encounter.
Learn Skills from your Enemy
Throughout your quest, you will encounter elite monsters equipped with elite skills known as Familiars. By defeating them you will gain access to their abilities, increasing your arsenal of skills you can unleash as you continue on to the next levels.

it is like slay the spire with an adventure twist
Amazing game. Really good roguelike dungeon crawler with movement based combat.
It's a fun game. You have to constantly think about spacial positioning, your skills, and upcoming enemy actions.
Very fun rogue-like. Game has a very high tactical skill ceiling that rewards planning. You have selection of powerful abilities, the resources to use said abilities regenerate before every encounter. You can also regenerate those resources during battle by performing combos. A well thought out battle plan can clear a room without any health loss.
if you are bad at tactics though. You can grind meta game progress, or pray to RNG to give you good perks and items.

Gameplay mechanics, as well as debuffs & buffs are well explained and easy to understand.
This game is quite cool—not insanely good, but it does the job.
I had a broken build: an armor that reduces damage by 3, a sword that causes both you and any enemies you touch to bleed, and permanent invisibility.
The strategy was simple: hit the enemy once, go back into invisibility (5 turns), and then spam "x" to pass the turns… GG.
First time against Vald, I won like this!
Delightful modern take on classic roguelikes.
Surprisingly polished considering the game is relatively unknown.
Well worth your time if you enjoy turn based, puzzley combat.
Works great on steam deck using proton 5ish (don't remember exact version).
I love the gameplay, but honestly, most of the items in this game are suck.
The game's concept is great, and the design is simply magnificent. However, unfortunately, the randomness and monotony of the process of collecting optimal builds significantly reduces the value of the entire game. As a result, it turns into a drawn-out and tedious routine, where luck in the build becomes the main factor of success.
This is especially acutely felt at the end of the game, where the dependence on luck becomes especially noticeable. This deprives the game of all its advantages and makes it very boring.
Not deep enough to be a good strategy game, not exciting enough to be a good action game. Crown Trick lands in this weird no-man's land and generally just feels uninteresting.
GEM!
This game felt like fairy tale, the plot is nice, the combat decent, so much variety in the playstyle. The characters introduced are all so likeable. The music in the main menu is special, the whole soundtrack is solid. The only regret is the ending felt a bit weak, it did not give an ending to the mc.
Didn't work on my SteamDeck or my PC. They abandoned the Switch version shortly after release so I don't know what I expected from this company.
