I want to start off by saying I really enjoyed this game. The puzzles were fun to figure out and I enjoyed searching for the secondary objectives like the gems (HOWEVER, more on the gems issue later and why it matters that all aspects of your game are functioning correctly before abandoning it).
Here are some negatives that just ruin the game for those who like to play through and do everything. The percentages and tasks for some levels are bugged (Both Required / Optional). They will either be under or over 100% despite having interacted with every element within the level. acquiring the required count of gems for the gem collecting achievements does not yield any trophy. The Gem collecting achievements for every color gem is BROKEN. If these things were fixed I would gladly leave a positive review. The game is non recommendable in this state and I will never recommend any game with broken progression aspects.

I really like this game! It is a large game with 10 chapters so you finish each chapter and don't have to wait forever to accomplish something. There were a few really hard spots for me to figure out and had to cheat a couple times by going to utube. I get tired of all the shootups and puzzle games like this are good exercise for the brain.
I started out enjoying this game, but as the puzzles get "harder" it becomes more and more of a chore. It quickly turns into a tiny object hunt. And then the only way to progress is to have a walkthrough next to you. Not fun.
Also, some of the puzzles are impossible on the Vive due to brightness levels. Try looking for a miniscule dark object in a dark corner of a room! If you enjoy losing your keys and having to find them with a time limit before you're due to be somewhere... this game's for you.
I played this after playing Alyx. I went from the most comfortable and less dizzy VR experience to the most nasseating VR experience.The movement mechanic made this unplayable for me... Stopped playing and dont plan on going back.
I downloaded this for my sister who has done over 33 real escapes rooms. This was her first VR experience and we enjoyed Escape Legacy very much. When on sale it's a steal. It has 10 rooms and you can vary the difficulty for replay value. Graphics and game play are decent. Overall pretty impressed. Glad we took the chance on Escape Legacy VR!
if you like escape rooms, you'll like this game. best of all, it actually works as you'd expect and has control settings for rift as well as vive.
Fantastic game with a lot of content. Very good graphics and ambient sounds and very good VR implementation. 10 levels, each with several rooms and three difficulty levels. It starts off easy but every room gets more complicated and different difficulties offer new challenges, you might finish one level easily to then get stuck on a higher difficulty.
Items change location every time you play which adds a lot of replayability. Some really cool puzzles mixed with a lot of key searching and observation. There's also leaderboards and secondary objectives.
It has full locomotion (hooray!!!) with snap turning; the movement speed is fast enough, you don't move like a snail like in other games (hooray again!!) and you can even hear the sound of your footsteps which might sound trite but adds a lot to the atmosphere and immersion.
Overall, a real bargain for its price given the quality and amount of content the game offers. If you're into escape room/puzzle games this is a must-have.
Dislikes: If you prone to motion sickness, avoid this game!!!
Likes: i found the first room not to be a challenge, but the second was a problem. I had to leave the game cause I was getting sick, but found the problem solving to fun.
If you don't have an issue with motion sickness and like escape the room concept, the game is worth the $10 admission fee.
The game has a glitch where I'm constantly spinning. It also assumes that I'm a 6 foot tall person. The only clue I was able to find while spinning was underneith my real life floor and I couldn't reach it.
By far one of the worst VR experiences I've had. The movement is terrible and there are glitches when attempting to interact with objects, which makes the entire experience unbearably frustrating. Almost everytime I attempted to bend down to pick something up or open a drawer I was moved away and unable to interact which was nauseating and frustrating. I have played plenty of VR games and have never experienced motion sickness until playing this game. I played for 15 minutes and turned it off because I became so irritated.
Escape Legacy VR works great on macOS. No issues. Thank you for supporting the Mac platform.
