This is a great game, full of mysticism and very interesting puzzles. I am glad I bought it but I'll surely miss it when I finish it.
Short, Simple, and Profound story with simple puzzles
The bit of hidden object and lack of culture familiarity are the only issues a player may have for some of the puzzles, but once you figure it out, it should have been obvious.
Cat and Ghostly Road is a good point & click game with a beautiful story, some nice graphics and a relaxing ambiant. I recommend it!!! 💗🐈💗
FRUSTRATING AT TIMES BUT IT WAS WORTH IT
Poor little kitty has been wandering around the mountains for days, and the snowstorm is relentless. Just when he collapses, along comes a kind stranger who gives him food, shelter...and love! His new master names him Yang, and their friendship knows no boundaries.
Several months later, a Demon steals the soul of Yang's beloved master, so Yang sets out on a dangerous mission to the world of ghosts and demons to find and return his master's soul.
This is a point-and-click adventure that is very simple to navigate. Yang is equipped with a bag to hold items and a couple of special abilities that you will equip him with during his travels. Inventory items can easily be combined by dragging one item to the other.
CAT VISION:
Ghosts and Demons can only be seen while using "Cat Vision," so if you get stuck, chances are that you'll need to click the icon to equip this special ability to progress.
HUMAN CAT SPIRIT:
This ability allows Yang to turn into basically a human cat. This ability was only used a few times and felt a bit unnecessary, in my opinion.
There were only a few mini-games, such as guiding a Koi upstream while avoiding obstacles or selecting Zodiac signs according to the clues seen previously. They weren't difficult, although the final puzzle was really frustrating. I replayed the third round several times before I realized I had to use my cat vision because the demon was tricking me. This was a memory-type of game where you had to choose all animals in the first round, all flowers in the second round, and all demons in the fourth round. It wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't have to replay the first two rounds every time I "lost" to the Demon in the third round.
It's a short game that can be completed in a few hours. It does get a bit complicated knowing when to switch your special abilities, and it has an achievement that can't be earned if you pick up feathers other than the requested Phoenix feather. The game is still worthwhile, especially if you enjoy a heartwarming story or just love cats.

i mean, its an okay game. most of the stuff you REALLY have to figure out but the story was cute :3!
While this game is pretty short, it's at the same price as the other games from that dev so I encourage you to buy it on sale or you will probably be disappointed as you can easily finish it under 2 hours.
There is an achievement that can be difficult to get, so here is a tip if you don't want to have to play twice : don't pick random feathers.
