How to Play
Each tile you reveal will have a number on it (blank means 0). This is the number of mines on adjacent tiles*. For example in hexagonal mode if you have a tile with a 3 on it and 3 of its 6 adjacent tiles have been revealed you know the other 3 are mines.
Now if you have a tile with 1 on it and one of its adjacent tiles has been marked as a mine you know the other 5 adjacent tiles are safe to be revealed as its mine is already accounted for.
Using this technique carry on until the whole globe is revealed. The same technique can be used for both the triangle and the classic square game modes.
*Adjacent tiles are any tiles that share a corner. For hexagons this is 6 tiles, squares 8 tiles and triangles 12 tiles.

This would be a pretty basic minesweeper based timekiller not worth recommending, but there is a triangle cell mode that really blew my mind. Completing the largest size globe in triangle mode was a real challenge that made this a worthwhile purchase. Otherwise, the sequel with hand-crafted levels is much better.
I mean, look at my hours... I always played Minesweeper on my phone and found this. Every sphere is solvable without guessing. If you want a challenge: triangle on highest difficulties is quite a task. And when you have mastered solving puzzling situation you can try and break some world records. The skill ceiling is incredible high: I hold some of the world records in the hardest categories and I'm far from perfecting my technique and still struggle to find a way forward on most runs.

This is the best Minesweeper version I have ever played
A 3D version of Minesweeper with its flagging QOL over Hexcells. Perfect.
I've always enjoyed playing Minesweeper when I was bored, and the thing that bothered me the most was that not every game could be completed without making guesses. In this game, they've created a solvable version without guesses, which is a great improvement.
I love spending 30+ minutes on a colossal map just to miss-click and lose all of my progress 10/10

On special it's a no brainer
If, like me, you grew up with the mine sweeper, or, like me, you just LOVE this "basic" game, trust me, take this one. It's pure orgasm. MASSIVE grids (spheres or cubes), various cell shapes to scale up the difficulty... Pure Joy.

It's minesweeper with chill music and new shapes. If you like Minesweeper, you'll like this.
Doesn't work if you can't connect to the internet... Dev simply denies the issue exists. Can't recommend, will continue playing when I'm able to connect again.
To be honest, I was really hoping for a little more from this, and maybe that's on me. For what it is, it's cheap enough to get a version of Minesweeper which has a decent presentation and plenty of options for generating grids. I just wish it did even a little bit more with the basic concept of Minesweeper than just the other repeating grid shapes and an option to make the grid unreasonably large.
Fun to play. Enraging to 100%. If you wanna suffer then 100%ing Globesweeper is for you
