In Hexa the puzzles are sovled using various types of Hexsides.

Link hexside's lets you teleport projectles from one place to another
Converter Hexside
Converter hexside's lets you teleport projectles from one place to another and also change the type of projectile
Splitter Hexside
Splitter hexside's split a stream of projectiles into two.
