Fun little platforming game that makes me very mad
Play the first 2 games of the series
Ah, Steam Reviews. Once again, your lack of a "maybe" option haunts me.
This game is a genuinely great game on its own, but... well, on top of being the only YH10S game to have a pricetag, the latest version suffers from a FATAL glitch that makes it impossible to beat Level 24-10, "The End Is Nigh", by extension making it impossible to beat the game.
And, uh, that glitch ain't getting fixed any time soon, because the developer lost the game's source files to a fatal crash.
That said, the second-to-last version lacks the level editor, but is fully playable start-to-finish. If you're looking to beat the game, I'm leaving a few magic words here:

Look up a way to access the Steam client console, paste that command in, and move all the downloaded files to wherever you installed the game to.
24-10 IS ABSOLUTE ASS!!!!!!!!
IN THE PART WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FLIP GRAVITY WHILE FALLING HAS A SPIKE RIGHT NEXT TO IT AND WITH A SINGLE GRID WIDE SPACE YOU JUST CAN NOT FIT THROUGH. I've tried to get past that section many times but I just can't, you literally have NOTHING to do there. You need to jump over a spike while upside down then you have 3 grid spaces or so to go left and that's where the problem
is, there's a spike blocking your path if you don't go left and that would've been completely fine IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO CHANGE GRAVITY THERE. Oh and you have to know when you don't die to that horrendous part you need to recognize that you did it AAAND then swing to the right while you're switching gravity. WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THAT SUCKS JUST GO PLAY THE LEVEL. AND DON'T YOU DARE SKILL ISSUE ME, I'VE DONE EACH AREAS RESPECTIVE NO DEATHS ACHIEVEMENTS RELATIVELY EASILY UNTIL THIS GOD DAMN LEVEL AND I JUST CAN'T PASS THIS FOR THE LIFE OF ME. That rant aside, it really depends on if you're good at platformers that you'll enjoy this game or not, if you aren't just maybe stay out of this one for a while but if you are this can be pretty fun and the previous games as well. Some nitpicks I have are that there's no reset button and if you screw up you just have to wait till the timer's out and that there's an achievement where you need to complete every area in a row without dying???? I really don't know if you have to do the whole game in a new save deathless or if it's doing each no deaths in an area achievement but it really is intimidating and I am NOT looking forward to that, especially after 24-10 like oh my god that level sucks. You'd think that I don!t like the game from this review but it's jut fine, some gimmicks can be real annoying like the motion detection thing and the execution of some ideas are not so good but I think as a relatively unknown game it deserves some more recognition and love, so there's a positive review for ya.
when i open it my computer freezes and i have to shut it down manually
due to reasons i do not understand, world 24-10 is broken. no matter what you do, your character is shoved into the spikes while falling up. even following advice on steam guides doesn't help. this trick must be pixel perfect. if the developer is reading this, please for the love of god allow me to complete your game by fixing this
Very fun. I saw Eric's video on this game (which for EricVanWilderman that video is surprisingly SUPER underrated) and wow it looked fun and it is fun. Sure there are a FEW annoying mechanics like the screen flip trigger in Area 14, but usually annoying obstacles like water are surprising well fit and put in. Your speed in water isn't slower and you can jump indefinitely in water (well at least until the 10 seconds runs out). Definitely well coded game, I recommend this to anyone interested.
I really wish I could fully reccomend the game becouse it's a fun little game with some great music as a bonus, unfortunatly it has one pretty big issue, a level near the end of the game is very broken to the point that it makes the game no longer fun and super difficult to complete.
More specificly in the level 24-10 (The last level of the chapter before the final one) one of the gravity switch fields will teleport you straight into a spike and kill you instantly unless you manage to fit into a super small gap between the wall and the spikes.
As I said it is possible to beat that level, it's just a toooon harder then it's supposed to be but the main problem with this is that the game focuses on deathless achievments, each chapter has one on steam, some grant costumes for beating them like that, you get an in game reward for doing all chapters that way (what the reward is I don't know) and there's even an achievment for doing the whole gane deathless in one run and this one level absolutely ruins everything, had it been earlier you would have at least been able to grind it easier but it's in one of the worst possible spots
But again despite that one issue I do reccomend the game, just do yourself a favour and don't come in expecting to get 100% unless you're ready for a lot of pain.

This game is a ducking masterpiece. The music is fire, the physics are no longer janky and unfair like in You have 10 seconds 2. The gimicks Especially the inverted sideways upside down control portals that absolutley destroyed me, all of them are super creative and fun. Not to mention the achievments. While the base game has 250 levels, If you beat all the individual worlds without dying, (Not in a row) You unlock 61 bonus levels or 6 worlds. The bonus worlds are incredibly difficult and the Finale is nerve wracking and epic in a way not seen in the game before. for a $2.99 game it is incredibly made and more than worth your time if you enjoy platformers or games like I wanna be the guy or I wanna be the boshy. The ONLY bug I found in the game was in 24-10 where if you hug the wall you die when you shouldnt, to fix it just dont hold the wall when dodging the spike. Amazing game 10/10
first of all i have not actually beaten the game yet but i have beat areas 1-15 so i think thats good enough to make a review so now im going to list some pros and cons
pros:
level design is really good as per usual with these games

fun and difficult gameplay
cons:
the controls (you can now only jump with the up arrow key and not space)
the jump arch is BAD you are wayyy to floaty
you can only change the soundtrack after you 100% the game
there are quite a few recycled levels

This game is incredible. 20x better than the originals; with more mechanics, 200 levels, etc. I absolutely recommend!
When I found the first game and played it, I loved it. The concept was genius, and the game was simple yet well crafted. The music was also phenomenal. And it's free.
The second game managed to be even better than the first game. Same concept, but more interesting gimmicks without being overly complex, and still had an amazing soundtrack. And it's also free.
Having played through both of the previous instalments, I can safely say that this game, for being the first in the series that isn't a free-to-play, is more than worth the $3.39 price tag. It's the best game in the series by a WIDE margin. It brings back everything that was great about the first two games and expands upon them.
The physics have been overhauled since the second game. Instead of the extremely small jump we had last time, we now have a jump that is much floatier and is able to be controlled based on how long you pressed the jump button. You have more control over your character than was ever possible in the first two games.
If the above makes you worried that the game is too easy now, then fear not. They made sure that the stages were still hard as nails, and your ability to control jump height will be tested in a few of them. The stages are still simple and polished. This game still has a fair challenge to it. They came up with more than 300 unique and interesting stages for you to push through.
Didn't think they threw in enough variables last time? Worried that the gimmicks won't shine? Oh, you're too paranoid. They brought in more gimmicks than ever before. Returning are the locked doors and keys, the buttons, underwater sections, the size changers, death rays, conveyors, glued platforms, icy sections, invisible platforms, and the gravity reversals. Added in are motion sensing security sweepers that kill you if you touch them while moving horizontally, super-fast conveyors, gravity modifiers, gravity changers that change gravity such that you fall left or right, screen flippers, laser gates, time-sensitive gates, invisible spikes, spikes that disappear when you get close, levels that gradually turn the lights out on you, time extenders that allow for longer levels, and more.
Soundtrack-wise, this game has more awesome chip tune songs than both previous games combined. So many to choose from, with returning classics and epic new compositions. Anyone worth their 8-bit musical taste should listen to "In Review" at least once, because it's amazing. This game has the best soundtrack of the entire series.
My final verdict: PLAY! THIS! GAME! $3.39 is underselling the value you'll get from this. With many achievements to keep you playing, and a LEVEL EDITOR and LEVEL SHARING FEATURE BUILT IN, there's something for everyone here. It's a difficult game, but it's still tame enough for most to get enjoyment out of it. This game gets a 10/10 from me.
Hard but fun, only problem is that you can't exit to hub from area 25, you have to exit to the main menu in order to start again. This is quite annoying when trying to do the area without dying as whenever you die you have to exit to menu and go back again.

I found about the game on EVW's channel, I saw a sneak peak of the game and thought it may be a fun quick platformer.
It is deffinetly a really fun, quick paste, very nice music platformer.
Really enjoyed it and if you are thinking of buying this game deffinetly buy it.

I HONESTLY LOVED IT!! Im gonna be brief so here's a review on the game and wether or not you should buy it.
-Is the game worth the cost?
YES! Only if you can handle rage games well though haha.

Very similar , I personally think this game offers a little bit more challenging levels though.

3, definetley this one by far.
How long is this game?
Well, their are 25 stages . . . Within each stage are 10 levels . . . You do the math there bud.
What could be better about the game?
They need to enable full screen mode. Yes, you can make it full size but its in windowed mode so you're gonna see your taskbar and everything else.
Also need to add the ablility to use the WASD buttons instead of the arrow keys
