HeroQuest (настольная игра), Naheulbeuk (французские аудиокниги), Kaamelott (лучший французский телесериал), Monty Python (английский сериал).

One of my favourite genre. I alwasy loved troop management games and I could easly say this game is great and it is 2.62 dolar right now absolute banger. If you like this genre but it!
At first it looked like fun. But then...
Got massacred in two hours of gameplay. My monsters pose no challenge to the enemy, getting mauled in two turns of combat on easy difficulty even if I try to pay attention to enemy abilities. Lord survived with maybe 10 health, won't survive another attack. Veteran - Veteran - Champion choice is not cool on easy in the beginning of the game. Especially if it's repeated.
Returned the game. Don't want to waste days trying to google the meta that works.
Little variety quickly becomes boring.
1) Take Boss Monster the Card Game:

2) Turn it into video game form
3) You get Legend of Keepers
I absolutely LOVE this game's mixture of humor and planning. The Office vibe is also present. Just an enjoyable turn based game all around.
The names of icons are mostly missing so I dont know what I click on.
Edit: Developer suggestions worked
Legend of Keepers puts you in the role of a dungeon keeper, which initially sounds very exciting.
The pixel art is impressive, the animations are smooth and the soundtrack is fantastic. However, despite this promising start my disappointment grew the longer I played.
The base game offers 3 playable dungeon masters, but the other 4 are locked behind paid DLC or a newsletter subscription. Each master can level up during gameplay, unlocking a few bonuses. Unfortunately, these bonuses are mostly just stat boosts that don't significantly enhance the experience.
After each battle, there's a sequence of events to click through where you can buy units or heal, but these events feel pointless since they don't really affect your run in a meaningful way.
While there’s a decent variety of units, the power difference between them is huge. I ended up using the same few overpowered units repeatedly, which made the gameplay feel unbalanced.
The lack of impactful content makes the game feel stale and repetitive very quickly. After about 5 hours, I felt like I had seen everything the game had to offer.
The lack of content and replay value made me feel like Legend of Keepers had a lot of wasted potential.
Does anyone has this issue when you randomly loss all of your progress?

Just finished playing it (including DLCs) and it became one of my favourite turn based combat/strategy games. Loved the design, soundtrack and mechanics. Totally recommending
The best way I can describe Legend of Keepers is as a dumbed-down version of dungeon defense games like Dungeon Keeper and Dungeons mixed with some minor roguelike elements. I teetered between giving this game a positive or a negative review but ultimately decided to give it a positive one.
I did enjoy the time I spent with the game, the graphics are cute and the game’s sense of humor is quirky and endearing. However, there isn’t a lot of depth to this game and you’ll quickly find yourself getting bored. Legend of Keepers feels more like a mobile game than one designed for PC.
Go ahead and pick it up on sale if the game’s premise sounds intriguing, but don’t expect to spend more than a few hours playing Legend of Keepers.
Engaging, unique, and fun. Somewhat repetitive, but sill a challenge.
I bought it along with all its DLC but I haven't played it again, I got bored quickly, it became repetitive very quickly. I don't see any reason to play it again, I don't recommend it.
I picked this game up on sale for $3.99, HOLY COW WHAT A DEAL! This game is well worth its full price. Its low impact fun that sucks you in but if you need to get up and walk away no biggie. Voice acting is fun. Clearly they put A LOT of thought into the game (and content). Lots of levels and while they all have the same basic game play loop they introduce enough variety and new stuff that it doesn't feel like the same thing over and over. I picked it up for my wife after a week of playing and shes been really enjoying playing it as well. Hope this helps.
Amazing turn based dungeon management game. The mechanics are great and exciting, the sprites and graphics detailed and well animated, and there is a hilarious sense of humor to the game. Recommended for gamers who like RPG style turn based battle systems, tactical 2d dungeon crawlers and collectible card games.
it's a fun game and i hope the people who made this game know they are awesome
this is a good game lots of fun my only complaint is the graphics could be way better
The first thing I see when I opened the game is that I have to follow something out of the game to unlock content, along with ads for DLC and other games along the side.
I did enjoy the gameplay, but I like buying complete games, not giving up my money to purchase a platform used to advertise to me. That along with the multiple DLC kind of turn me off to the experience.
I'm at almost 3 hours of gameplay but I like the game. Repetitive indeed but you just need to adjust your own gaming sessions.
For example, I play max one hour when im bored, it's really entertaining. Then i'll leave and play another hour in the evening and so on.
Not bad, I found it straightforward and fun. 7.5/10 game but can still improve if additional content is added.
Legend of Keepers is a fun roguelike with an engaging gameplay loop and some excellent pixel graphics. You set up two rooms of three monsters each plus a variety of traps and play out turn based combat against a group of three heroes who march through room by room and try to reach your boss, which then also engages in combat if needed. Your monsters lose morale if they get knocked out and your boss' hp carries over between fights, so there's some amount of planning involved. Between hero raids you can choose between some events to buy new monsters or traps, upgrade monsters or traps, gain morale, etc. There is plenty of interesting synergy between different monsters and artifacts that you can find, and some decent planning around elemental resistances if you take the time to think encounters through. Not too dissimilar in concept from Monster Train. Strongly recommend!
got repeatetive, hard cap on units and traps in campaign needs to go.
I Played LoK when it was in early access, there were only two dungeon masters and you played endless mode trying to level your DM and see how far you could get. I initially liked the game and like other early access games I put it down (after about 20 hours) a little burnt out and waited for full release.
So I've finally come back to it and I'm disappointed over all.
The campaigns that you're now forced to play for each character aren't really fun. The excessive amount of heroes, monsters and traps only really bloat a game where you really need synergy in order to win. It's also really frustrating on the campaign when you get unlucky with events and/or room placement that can throw your strategy into the toilet.
The pixel style art is good and the music is good and there's a half decent game here but sometimes less is more and LoK really struggles with this.
