Very good game, stimulating and fun, to play calmly with a nice cup of tea (beer even), to relax and enjoy. Bought it when had no gaming pc but even now I started playing it in my main pc.

1001 Jigsaw. Legends of Mystery is a basic browser/Flash/mobile-app like jigsaw puzzle game. Solve various jigsaw puzzles made up from images that the "developer" stole off the Internet and used without crediting the actual creators, making this plagiarism, as well as an asset flip and a cash grab. An example of the "borrowed" uncredited/plagiarised artwork is "Beautiful Gothic Girl", taken from iStockPhoto. Sure, the image rights may allow the stock image to be used without credit, but claiming credit for the work of others, as is happening here, is unethical, and the creative and intellectual bankruptcy going on here is unacceptable.
So what we have here is a basic jigsaw puzzle engine that's been skinned with a bunch of photos stolen off the internet and used without attribution. The icing on the cake is the "developer" here has copy + pasted + reskinned this same asset onto Steam a lot.
The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game an insane SEVENTY SIX TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list of Creobit's copy + pastes of this asset:

These are all reskins of exactly the same game! What value is there in this spam/pollution glutting the Steam store for gamers?
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes this might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
1001 Jigsaw. Legends of Mystery has the farcical price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
This publisher 8floor managed to arranged 1 card game and then copy-paste it with different sfx, wallpapers and made 200+ games.
It would be nice if PLAY simply moved to next puzzle instead of needin to select every time. Nice its all unlocked to start. Also, would be nicer if clearly indicated completed puzzles
best game ever
It works, but it lacks many basic functions of similar games. Doesn't track progress, no achievements, doesn't save progress for later.
This game is relaxing and customizable, worth the purchase.
Just like working a puzzle from the box. Lovely photos in my favorite fantasy theme. Can modify to make it harder or easier, whichever you're in the mood for. 2 talons up

+The "modify" feature is really awesome! You can change the line orientation of the puzzle cutout and also change the number of pieces of any puzzle =)!
+I like that the border button is disabled when the border is finished.
+Puzzle can be saved. There is also a percentage of completion on it, nice!
+I like that there is both a ghost of the image and a separate reference image that I can move and zoom!
+Sound and music are fitting the mystery theme.
Observations and suggestions~~~
~It would be nice to be able to have a look at the finished picture. For the moment, there is a purple window with the score, but the checkmark only goes back to the menu not the finished puzzle.
~I'm not too sure about how the scoring system and the in-game achievement (trophies) are working. I guess that's where the Mystery from the title is :P
~Puzzle snapping is a bit too tight when working with a small number of pieces. I need to pick and drop a piece multiple time to make it snaps. Maybe add an option to have different snap level?
~I'm not sure why the pieces in the white box disappear when I connect them to another piece. I think it would be nice if they stay there instead.
~I feel like the best score menu should be renamed because it's not the best score for each image, it's simply an history log of all puzzle completed. I can complete 3 times the same puzzle with the same number of pieces and all of my entries will be in the "best score" menu.
~There is only 1 music track, it seems, maybe add more.
Negatives---
-There is no validation before permanently deleting a player profile.
-The collision box on the player name in the selection of puzzle scene could be reduced to fit the UI (collision inside the 2 straight lines only).
-No steam achievements
-When on a puzzle, the exit button should ask "Exit the puzzle?" instead of "Exit the game?" because to actually exit the game, the text used is already "Exit the game?"
-Image are more or less following the theme.

So yeah, if you like portraits of people with different costumes, I guess you are in luck with the huge amount of images displaying humans (82% of all 500 images). I think the game is fun. It would be nice to have steam achievements. Diversity of images could be improved to include more than just portraits. If you were looking for legends and mystery I think you should go somewhere else though. Get it on sale if you are not sure.
I feel like I just visited a party store around Halloween. Although I don't mind stock images and enjoyed the other games in the series, this really felt confused and phoned in. Maybe something was lost in translation because mystery usually means a crime to be solved. These are mostly Halloween costume ideas, a few cosplays, and some random Halloween decorating ideas.
Confusingly they sprinkled in a rune set and a few other magical elements. It's OK, I have no problem with mixing in steampunk too, but it just feels confused. Had it been called something with Halloween in the title it would work, but how anything here is a legendary mystery is a mystery to me.
It also feels a bit dull for some reason. I even checked the other titles I have in the series and realized why. What this studio does extremely well are several subjects. Animals cute and wild. Beautiful travel destinations worthy of a postcard. Food, glorious food.
Had this title played to the studio's strengths I would have loved it. It played to my least favorite part in any of the sets, the people. They are mostly just stock photo models. Nothing wrong with a few, but with too many it just renders the game dull and flat for me.
A few ghoulish table settings, some animals like bats, black cats and wolves, a few abandoned castles or other creative locations and less humans and it would be a perfect Halloween title, which is what it clearly started out as. It just tries to go in too many directions, ren fair, magic, Halloween, etc. and feels muddled.
Is there good stuff? Yep! Still has the pretty sparkles of the custom cursor. You can choose a cursor or no, and lock down pieces. There's a ghost of the image or photo to choose if you like. You can do the border and even have more or less pieces for every puzzle. The game even saves unfinished puzzles for later for you. The music is different and there are certainly some nice puzzles.
It certainly isn't as bad as Puzzles at Mystery Manor, but there is no mystery to solve. And some of the photos just felt like fashion photos. Nothing wrong per se, but not exactly magical or mysterious. Overall OK on sale and for a time waster.
I really enjoyed this game. Putting together puzzles is relaxing for me and this game had some nice features. On of my favorite is that I can ask to just see the border pieces. I always like putting a puzzle together by starting the border so this means no grind while searching for all the border pieces. Also you can chose to have the puzzle be as few pieces as 12 or over 300 depending on what kind of challenge you are looking for. There is also a way to have a ghost image to lay the pieces on or just the image off to side or no image at all. Really this was a very good puzzle game and I enthusiastically recommend it.
