This is the true OG co-op horror game and without it, we wouldn't have all the good experiences we have today. I think the dollhouse map is the best by a longshot, it doesn't hurt to try out the other maps even if you don't like them as much.

scary and exciting when playing with friends
I have played 2 of the 4 levels so far. The levels i have played are Dolls and Farm. The Dolls level is fantastic, scary, immersive, and maybe a bit challenging but fair.
However, the Farm level is absolutely garbage. There is no real fear, immersion, or and it does not feel fair at all. The entire level feels like a walking simulator trying to carry fertilizer to poison the water and then dunking a chicken in it to feed the farmer. You have to do this 8-9 times which is already way too much walking when that is the only objective of the level. HOWEVER it is made worse by the fact that the farmer moves way too fast and will chase and eat healthy chickens in the front yard that heals her from the poison chickens you already fed. The level is absolutely atrocious and un-fun. I was going to wait to write a review after playing all 4 levels but i needed to vent my frustration with how god awful the farm level is.
I am hoping the remaining 2 levels are made more inline with the polish of the dollhouse level and that the farm is just an awful one-off.
I want to leave this game an optimistic positive review in hopes that the remaining 2 levels live up to the same standard as the first level.
Not at all sure how this title has 40,000 reviews. Anyway, played it. It wasn't a great experience. I must have played a different game from what the others here have commented on. Whatever I experienced was a mess of a game. But to each their own.

Creepy and chaotic! Pacify is a quick horror game that’s best played with friends. The jump scares and eerie atmosphere keep things tense, and teamwork is key to surviving the spooky house. If you like fast-paced horror with friends, give this one a shot!

Pacify is a game that attempts to deliver a tense co-op horror experience but ultimately falls short due to its lackluster design and repetitive gameplay. The game has up to four co-op players, including you, working together to complete tasks while avoiding a relentless AI-controlled enemy, but this core mechanic quickly becomes more frustrating than frightening. To put it bluntly, none of the levels manage to offer an engaging or fun experience. Each environment feels uninspired, with objectives that grow tedious after just a few attempts on ANY of the missions.
The atmosphere, while initially eerie, loses its impact as the jump scares and enemy behavior become predictable and honestly just monotonous. The game’s simplistic design leaves little room for strategy, reducing the co-op experience to frantic running and random item collection. Furthermore, the AI enemy usually feels more unfair than challenging, often resulting in irritating and unsatisfying encounters.
Even at its low $5 price point, Pacify fails to justify its cost due to a complete and utter lack of meaningful content or compelling gameplay. Additionally, there are much better indie horror titles with MUCH better content around the same price point. This game may be fun to laugh at with your friends for half an hour, but for genuine horror fans seeking a deeper, more rewarding experience, this one is very hard to recommend...

Hi this game is really good but my one problem is that you can't turn of the jumpscares if you see this shawn hitchcock please add no jumpscare settings in the options
really scary game that could make you actually play it for HOURS with friends. It has multiple modes. My favorite is the OG dolls. Go try this game out!
Only buy if you have a group of friends to play with 5-10

Played this game for 3 hours, it was the scariest 3 hours of my life. My butt was constantly clinched for every second and its permittivity stuck now. The witch was indeed bad but i couldnt get a good glimce because she was moving as fast as prime Lighting Mcqueen. This game is not for the week, and should be a requirement to join the navy seals. The Game developers were in there bag and they deserve a cookie, but the game still had minor glitches but nothing too crazy. Miss witch when you feeling better hit my line.
