Honestly I quite like this game, it might not have amazing graphics but I find myself coming back every now and then to play because I enjoy the game play.

i really think that this is a fun game definitely for players who like horror and like to have fun

This version of Granny feels more creepier than the mobile one and i really enjoy everything about it

Amazing game to play in free time where you just want something fun to do. Speedrun? Sure! Different difficulties including practice? Yup. Just make sure to have at least 30 minutes to spare (unless you're a speedrunner) before playing this.

I like this game but there are glitches. the main one is me getting softlocked in the elevator and the time for granny after you shoot her

There are many differences between this and the mobile version.
Here are the ones worth noting:
-This version can be modded
-This version has better quality with the shaders and stuff, but the textures aren't that much improved
-Much easier controls

I would recommend this game only if you know you will play it a lot or if you are a fan of the game (also I highly recommend getting mods for this game because the vanilla PC version isn't really that good).
If you won't be playing it that much then just play the mobile version or an emulated version for PC (you can do that on an emulator like Bluestacks).

Overall, I give the vanilla non-modded version of PC Granny a 7.5/10 (or 8.5/10 if you consider the fact that it can be modded).

This game is pretty fun although i got bored of it, i will get granny 2 and 3, but in my opinion they should make this game free because on mobile it is free which doesn't seem fair.

I remember when i first got this game on my phone back in 2019. back then i didnt have any expirience with games. granny pretty much was the first video game I ever played. its also the first game on got on this steam account back in 2020. the newest update isnt great at all because I hate nasty spider bitch. also the update makes it so you have to go into the new area to find essential items. i like the newest ending. but i just want to say it makes no fuckin sense how she can crouch when you are hiding and in the newest ending but when you go into a crawl space she cant do shit. and it like BROOOOO JUST DO THE THING YOU DO WITH BEDS because when she catches you under a bed she not only crouches down but she breaks the fucking speed of sound lunging into your face. so why cant she just do that with crawl spaces? anyway the game is really fun and i like how there is multiple endings to get. i also like how there is death scenes when you die on day 5. i like the weapons for (obvious reasons). i like how the floors creak so you have to be aware where you are stepping. anyway back to the spider bitch. (NOTE THE FOLLOWING WILL BE MESSY) THE SPIDER BITCH IS THE WORST BITCHITY BITCH IN THIS BITCHITY BASEMENT. THE SPIDER LADY IS THE MOST ANNOYING AREA BECAUSE IT IS SO FUCKIN LINEAR THAT ONE WRONG MOVE CAUSES YOU TO GET SLAPPED BACK TO FUCKING REALITY. ALSO THE BITCH LIKES TO CAMP HIDING SPOTS. one thing i can say is that the area is pretty easy to learn. and after all of the complaining i still find this game to be extremely engaging and fun (besides the logic and the spider bitch) I will give this game 72 recees pieces out of 100 coffee cups. (one note i think the dev should add betas so you can go to older versions

Very scary omg i’m very scared good game

Fantastic! Everything just worked so well... The map, the art style and the design of Granny herself, the auido was neat, every mechanic worked fluidly and so much more!

this is a very fun horror game very replayable but the spider is just so dam scary tho but it makes it more funnier and funner i love it tho to but im trying to get over my fear of the spider in this game lol but i reccamend this game if you want a horror game to play

Granny is a very simple game, an old lady has a bat and wants to kill you. Well, that's what Granny was in 2017, but now Granny has transcended the simple game it once was. It now features giant spiders with human heads, a Bates motel-style death trap house, hostile pets, and ghosts. Granny is a scary game? No. Granny is an easy way to spend ten or twenty minutes when you're bored. Yes.

despite the bad reputation that mascot horror games have (especially mobile ones) im not kidding when i say that this stroke of genius is unironically one of my favourite games of all time. and its been that way for 7 years now

Pretty good horror, but I am used to it, so I barely get scaried here, especially in Extreme, first time it will be hard, but you will be able to master it, I promise

Relatively fun "Horror" game. Horror is in quotes because it's not really too scary. The graphics for granny kind of give it a comedic feel to it. Although the main part of the game is more of the escape, and for that it does a great job.

This was by far one of the best games I've played in a long time. Definitely took me a while to learn how everything worked, but I enjoyed it. 6.6-hrs and i finally escaped out the front door. I'm definitely going to try to escape through the other exists. Also, the Granny spider gives me goosebumps.

Intro: Truly scary. You play on easy-hard mode, its not too bad, but playing on extreme mode its terrifying as shit. Anyways, this game is very well made and it truly represents horror since an old lady tries to kill you. Dealing with Granny is one thing, but dealing with Slendrina's mom is a different story since she is actually faster than granny and you have to juke her in a claustrophobic 'cell' if you want to call it that. what's even worse is that shooting her with the shotgun will only briefly stun her whereas with granny, shooting her will knock her out for 30 seconds.

Weapons: That's another thing about the game is the weapons. The weapons can even the odds when you are on your toes and these weapons include a crossbow, shotgun, freeze trap, and pepper spray. There is also a sauna that you can trap granny in that will also knock her out. Every weapon (excluding the shotgun) will knock her out for 2 minutes on easy, 1 minute on normal, 30 seconds on hard, and 15 seconds on extreme mode. The shotgun on easy and normal will add 30 seconds making it 2:30 on easy and 1:30 on normal. On the higher difficulties, the duration is simply doubled making it 1 minute on hard, and 30 seconds on extreme.

Items: learning and memorizing the item locations takes a very long time and there are different presets for item spawns. Once you learn all the presets, the game becomes much easier and quicker.

Conclusion: At the end of the day, this game is extremely fun and proves to be a challenge for people that don't have much experience in cat-and-mouse style horror games

This is a beautiful game. The movement is perfect. The updates made it take longer to get out. You can speed run it. There is tech (like crouching underneath guardrails to avoid creeks). The only bad thing is how items don't have a consistent drop, like the screw driver. Highly recommend if you are looking for a game that you don't need to commit too much brain power for and/or want a puzzle game.

I'm aware of the reputation these types of mobile horror games have achieved throughout the years -- most will simply scoff at them and move on.
But I am being completely honest when I say that Granny is not only a legitimately good game, but also a legitimately good horror game.

Granny's gameplay loop is seriously more mechanically intricate and routinely complex than most horror games on the market, especially within its fellow indie competitors. It's a well-planned, fine-tuned and thoroughly engaging game. Yet it still presents itself as a comprehensive and simple experience.
There really is an enthralling, rhythmic routine in this game's gameplay loop. It can be really stressful in the enjoyable sort of way. Constantly keeping track of Granny's whereabouts and current route; not to mention improvising to the ever-changing dynamic item locations. Granny will even learn to adapt to your paths and routines if you repeat them too much. It's really neat!
And on the harder difficulties it especially becomes a thorough challenge -- far more than I'm willing to take on.
I have no idea how the toddlers can manage such on their touchscreen iPads. I suppose they're simply just intensely coked up on their Galaxy Gas fumes and such.

The movement also just feels super precise and comfortable. That really just goes for the controls in general.
My sole issue with the game though is the fact that it lacks rebindable keybinds. Even still, the official layout isn't too bad. It can be initially pretty awkward, but that is really all.

Now, I feel most scoff at child-friendly horror. And on a surface-level perspective: yeah I can understand that. It can come off as quite obnoxious and blissful at times.
But I've also I come to feel like that's a very 12-year-old's naive way of generally seeing all children-focused adjacent media. As if anything that isn't deeply serious or "cool" is therefore "cringe" and thus bad. It comes off merely as projected insecurities of being called a "baby".
Yet I find Granny vastly impressive even just for its non-explicit horror. It's easy to rely on the ol' reliables in the horror genre (e.g. gore, guts, and other gross stuff) as an alternative to carefully crafted horror and spooks. So being able to convey a real sense of horror for a younger players, while still not outright pushing away an adult audience is super notable. And Granny definitely succeeds in such. I certainly got seriously spooked on several occasions. All good fun!

On a quick note, also: I just find this game seriously charming. It simply feels earnestly compact with unfiltered passion and full of heartful authenticity.
It's one of the few times I earnestly can say "The developer clearly had sincere fun developing this game", for it's just so apparent in the end-result.
Hell, even Granny's voice-lines were recorded by the developer's wife. That's astoundingly adorable!

If nothing else speaks of this game's quality, then consider the fact that it ended up defining a whole new sub-genre of horror: Granny-likes. It's a stupid term, sure, but at least it's honest and precise.
And for the people who still aren't convinced: If we didn't have Granny, we wouldn't have gotten Amnesia: The Bunker.

This is in my opinion the best game out of all the 2 other games in the granny series. This game is OG and is still really fun and tense experience with a fucking spider mum in the sewers in tight corners and i like how granny works. Also i like that in most rooms (Other than the sewers) has a secret shortcut from little hiding spots that Granny cant get you to a secret bookshelf.One last thing is about granny she is not to scary but more creepy i like her creepy design with the baseball bat and what i love is that if you hide under a bed or hide in a closet you are not always safe.If she sees you get under the bed,she will jumpscare you and i think that is 10/10 shit.Overall the best out of the three granny games I recommend you play this game first before playing the other 2 games. Have fun playing the game :)

First of all, I just want to say that this is a good game.

It has a unique feeling and look that no other game i've played has. Sure, the graphics
might not be the best but the developer, DVloper does such a good job on the setting.
I really like the graphics, there is just something so special about them. Another thing
is the gameplay. It is really neat that you actually have to think when traversing. For
example, Granny could be behind any corner, waiting for you, every item you drop
creates a sound that Granny will immediately rush towards. It's just so neat. Another
good thing is the map. I love the layout. It has so many different shortcuts and safe spots
to hide from Granny. There are also three different endings so if you get bored of one escape route,
just try the other one! There are also a whole ton of different items, and most of them are all needed
to escape the house. Even if the game hasn't updated for almost two years now, I bet
that DVloper is working on something new behind the scenes. Heck, even the sewer ending
was added in the latest update. It isn't even that old! There isn't really anything else to say
honestly. Although one complaint I have is that the game is just boring sometimes. After completing
it a couple of times it really does get boring.

Also, the game is also available on mobile. Where it is free, but I still think the PC port is better,
because it has better graphics, some additional content and more. Anyways, thats everything. See ya!

EXTREME MODE 100% GG. This is such an og and nostalgic game and to see how much bigger its gotten is fantastic. I forgot all about this game until i got a video of caseoh playing granny on my recommended. When i saw how much its changed. i wanted to beat it. it looked so fun. When i was young i could never beat it i was too scared to leave the main room! Thank you dvloper for making my life better and making me watch people play this peak and finally get me to beat it myself. I will see you guys in Granny: Chapter two, when i beat that in extreme mode.

This games definitely one that made my childhood. It's really fun, and has its peak moments, this games is a really fun survival horror game, where you gotta get items and try to escape with the car, door, or the spider place. Its honestly an example of what games should be like. PLAY THIS GAME! If you want you can play on mobile for free, however the PC version feels so fun and i highly recommend trying it here also.
