About the Game
Welcome to Granny.Granny keeps you locked in her house and she will not let you go.
You wake up in a dark room, you have a headache and it feels like someone have hit you in the head.
The only thing that lights up the room is your flashlight lying on a table.
The main door is covered with different locks and now you have to search the house and find keys and other objects to unlock the door and escape this house.
But you have to be careful because Granny hears everything and if you drop something on the floor or walking on a creaking floor she will start running to the place she heard that sound.
You also need to watch out for her bear traps and other things lurking in the dark, like her pets, for example.
You can hide in wardrobes and coffins but be careful that she does not see you where you are hiding.
There is another way to escape.
At the bottom of this house there is a garage. In the garage there is an old car. If you manage to start it and open the garage door you can escape that way.
You can protect yourself from Granny using one of the two different types of weapons you can find in the house. But it only stops her for a while. But it's worth it.
There are five different levels of difficulty.
Extreme, Hard, Normal, Easy and Practice.
If you play in Practice mode, you are in the house without Granny and have the opportunity to try different things without major difficulties. But the house is not completely free from dangers.
Granny gives you five days in the house but you can earn a extra day if you do something for her.
If you have failed to escape after the last day... well, probably you can figure out what happens then.

granny has this little spider pet that is really fucking annoying but everything else is good second best granny game (chapter 2 is #1)
possibly one of the most iconic horror games ever great sound track and great production quality.
this version on the pc is amazing upgrade from the phone version.the only thing whats a little annoying is the mod menus but if you dont care about mods this is good for you.
Veri fun! Lost a lot of time was almost at the end but i threw my screwdriver and clipped through the wall. Had to restart sadly but escaped through sewer. Takes average 45 mins to complete. Veri Fun

Granny's very stupid, is very easy to outsmart her. She can't even crouch, making avoiding her quite easy.
It's okay, at best. Fun little puzzle game. Doesn't cost much.

This game has been a major part of my childhood. I remember the first time I installed granny on my phone as a kid, and it seemed like the scariest thing in the world. Now it's been a few years and the phone version just wasn't doing it. But now, with this steam version it can truly feel like my childhood again, as the better graphics, sound quality, etc bring the game back to life like when I first played it.

i enjoy the game, fun to gas granny and lure her with the shotgun instead of just shooting her. would recommend to people that hate grandmas and shooting them for sport. 8/10. would be 10/10 if there was a sonic reference or something. eat me
Pros:
- A lot of variety in difficulty settings, even having a pratice mode where you can learn where to use each item or remember each item's spawn.
- 3 different escapes (4 if you count the slendrina one as an ending), each needing complete different items.
- Cheap, although you're not gonna play much of it.
- The soundtrack is good.
Cons:
- Almost no updates, meaning the game will get boring pretty quickly.
- The game can sometimes bug, even softlock you.

I beat this on extreme in the 8th grade with an iPhone 5s and a dream. I love it even though it pisses me off.

Granny chapter 1 is a great game a lot like hello neighbour.
It is hard though and the puzzles are quite tough but my my. That spider dude. It was so hard that it got annoying.
Overall a great game at a great price tag, it ran super well and is optimised great.
My only real negative is as the game is sooooo long, I think a save feature would have been lovely but for 4 pounds not gonna complain.
9/10 would recommend.
This game is really good. The concept is amazing and so is the overall game-play. Granny can be a bit weird at times when it comes to her AI, but I really recommend checking out this game. I'd say it's worth the money!

Such a simple and yet very satisfying game. It's like a quick hit of old school Resident Evil. Puzzles are randomized every time, and there are several ways to escape. I feel like this would make a great Halloween (Michael Myers) game.

VERY SILLY GAME
Easy mode is perfect for learning the game and the difficulty scales are really good! You are required to explore every part of the house no matter what seed you roll! Very fun.
played with my sister, loved it but we were about to finish the game and for no reason the spidergranny in th e cellar got u hrough the wall which made me like it a little less but i lov eit.

10/10 really fun and a little scary at some points. This is the best horror game for $5, would recommend. Its updated often and graphics are amazing. love this game it never gets old.

Granny is truly one of the games of all time I suppose, if you really sit down and use that massive noggin' to think about it. Not once, not twice, but three different times in the same play session I got soft locked from finishing the game. This happened due to items randomly falling through the floor, or objects barricading doors for no reason. I also had a run where I had every item to complete the spider area ending and my rusty key fell through the ground never to be seen again. 1/10 rest in piss Granny!
I always played the mobile version, the PC version is defiantly better visually than the mobile version. People don't like the recent Spider Cellar update, but I think it's great. It's a new part of the map and is quite expansive. She could be either be slower or removed in practice mode, though.
I suck at it, (only playing it on practice mode currently) but the game is very well made and fun :D

on PC however, using the flashlight and having the unchangable dark mode is a little irritating but its okay, it adds to the spook, just hoping they will add a button to turn that setting on or off at players discretion.
i've been playing for a few years now and i can honestly say, I don't see myself permanently putting the game down.

Good game worth buying but when you buy it download buttery stancakes granny recaptured which is a modded version of the game with better visuals, gameplay, and features.
really fun but also mobile version is free with ads but i would be more likely to recommend the pc version i do better at the game on the pc version

Absolutely insane. This woman has everything up her sleeve. She deserves the game of the year reward. Whoever created this, you are a true genius. I wouldn't be surprised if the creator of this game was at NASA. It's such an original game, beautifully handcrafted to perfection with every little detail, its just perfect. This game always runs on ultra-high settings with no lag. Clear, crisp and uncut connection to almost any monitor or TV. I have a terrible TV and this game made it HD. Absolutely nuts!! I ran several durability tests on this woman to see what this woman could handle, first I shot her with a shotgun, not a single scratch. Then I froze her and made her fall over just I couple of scratches, and bruises but she still stood up like a champ. Then I shot her with a tranquilliser dart, expecting it to at least knock her out, but little did I know she actually got injected with asteriods, and became much stronger. She attacked me and my family tied up my wife and children, SHES TOO POWERFUL!! The more I try to kill her the more powerful she gets I'm currently hiding her cabinets drinking the days away while I hear the horror that she is causing to my family. I am horror. I hate this woman but I must say this is the most powerful character in the MCU, this is the most ingenious monster I have ever seen. This woman should be a religion. I give it 100/5 stars. Please add an option to either use the flashlight or just have the lighting of mobile, I would love if that was an option, because this version is better then the mobile in terms of controls and what not, but the lighting being from the flashlight basically forces you to play darker mode from mobile. So I would really appreciate if that was an option and not forced dark mode, I also feel a lot of the community at large feels the same. Great game though.
Really good graphics best game from granny by far love it and the flashlight makes me play it everyday for hours
