Создавай уникальных котиков и идеальные дома
Создавай котов с неповторимыми личностями и запоминающейся внешностью при помощи конструктора. Обустрой уютное местечко для каждого из них, подбирая мебель, растения и другие предметы. Чем лучше обставлено поселение, тем счастливее котики. Так что прояви фантазию!
Управляй поселением
У котиков не только разные параметры и особенности, но и профессии — от фермерского хозяйства до кузнечного дела и даже рыцарства. Кто-то ведь должен защищать поселение от различных опасностей! Разные типы построек открываются в зависимости от черт и профессий котиков, так что подходи к вопросу развития своих питомцев с умом.
Исследуй новые земли
Расширяй свои владения за счет новых территорий, в которых котиков ждут новые возможности и приключения. Изучай игровую карту, чтобы отыскать рыбные места, спрятанные сокровища и необычных персонажей с квестами.

I've finished the story, it is a cute and relaxing game, it has some issues and i feel like there could always some QoL updates for it, but still, i recommend it !

It just needs a way to allow you to meddle with the traits or allow you to pay more for certain traits like you do in Wartales, once they have that and I can have a Demonic Mean Brutish cat to beat up all my other cats in our lvl 1 fightclub this game will be perfect.
It was a fun game in concept, but it was just too clunky to navigate as a game

Got stuck somewhere in the middle of the campaign because the process of building a settlement is very relaxing.
Even though at some point a crowd of cats becomes a problem, you get pleasure just watching their life. Some of them will require you to control, while others live independently. I hope in the future the game will have more content, as it was with the sims
Yes, you have to like cats to understand this game better. Because they won't do what you expect them to do and it's very confusing at first. I'm glad that the animals are not just decorations and their behavior is quite realistic.
The game has the vibes of the Warrior Cats book series. I guess I would like a little more magic and the ability to have kittens to make it perfect for me
I liked the role-playing component and defending the settlement from enemies. Oddly enough, there are quite a lot of them and they are varied, and there are several types of fighters, as well as different levels of weapons and a perk system. If there were also a lot of random events, I could say that this is a really great game. But I missed the story component
My girlfriend pays more attention to these cats than to me.
Ok wellllll.... Lets just say they took all the tedious parts of sims and rimworld and combined them. It is truly early access though, so hopefully they'll be improving on making it less tedious. It started off fun but after the 2 hour mark it just gets tedious.
The warrior cats can't seem to do anything but fight and gather. Which makes them pretty useless but you do need a good amount of them when your people do get attacked, so you kinda just get left with these useless cats who's apparen't only sole purpose in life is to kill/defend.
optional Quests have a limited amount of in game hours for you to complete them. so you have to pay very close attention and baby sit those optional quests. Like once I had a eat a fish quest but, I didn't have any fisher cats and the market person didn't have any fish. So... that was a bummer. Then theres one cat who wanted to stay up for 24 hours but kept trying to go to bed. I failed that quest because they went to sleep when I had to save another cat from death.
Also when you do get a fisher cat and you want them to fish, you have to sit there and make them keep fishing because they will stop after one fish while the whole town is starving because the cabbage isn't ready yet.
The outline looks good, the plot is interesting, I just don't want to babysit them while I'm trying to complete the main story line.
The level of immersion is such that I started scratching myself after an hour of playing. Seriously, guys, be careful with the fleas
I can't call it a standout, but it's another enjoyable city builder that has a few distinctive features. Good for relaxing in the evening.
The story generator here is not as rich as in rimworld, but you can use your imagination and the game will become much richer.
Despite the direct control, you will get your dose of surprises
Hate rats
It's damn hard to balance between citybuilder and tower defense. I'm not used to the combination of these genres in this form, because the game is cute and bright on one hand, and a little stressful on the other. It's hard for me to definitely recommend it yet, but I enjoyed the game.
There is a bright and cute part, as well as a dark and combative one. There is something for everyone. I hope that mods will appear in the game and you will be able to see the cats' journey in a new way.
Spent half the time putting up decorations. The cats have started a quarrel and do not want to relax in the most picturesque place. I'm in hell. Amazing game
Went into the forest to get catnip. Was attacked by a boar. Was saved by a knight. Was cured by a mage. Went into the forest again to get catnip. Kicked out of the settlement for drug addiction.

As far as I know, the game was made by one(?) person and the result is really amazing. I think I will return to the game from time to time to check on my pets. Fortunately, they will be fine in my absence and you can not worry about them
Staightforward but fun!
So freaking cute... I'm addicted... but.. tell me... WHY IS THE 2ND STAGE 100% HARDER THEN THE FIRST. Like went hella easy.... to like WTHHH, I cannot beat the goblins on this one... and there not much leveling up for the knights because theirs no animal respond to level them up!!! The dummys get the lvl up alittle bit... but adshfkasjfdhkjasdhf! Need more animal spawn......
It's a cute game but there's too much micromanagement. Basically there are a lot of negative mood things that you have to manually tell the cats to fix even when you have it set to not overwork them. It becomes unplayable with larger cat colonies. I love the idea of the game but they have a lot to fix, things like bathing to get rid of fleas and drying off should be something cats decide to do on their own just like sleeping.
My only fighter got killed. My town was starving. None of them wanted to forage. They only wanted to eat meat. The enemies near the spawn were closing in. And even in their final moments, the only thing they cared about was the fact one of them was stinky.
This game is VERY hard, from what I can tell. Played sandbox mode on easy to learn the game since it was my first time trying, (and I have 0 background info on it), and it's genuinely rage inducing. The cats are weak and pathetic and die from so much as a gust of wind in the wrong direction. I think the devs forgot the part where the cats shouldn't die easily for a difficulty level intended "for those who want to focus on taking care of their cats". Colony management runs exclusively on taking care of citizens, so maybe the drawing board needs to be reapproached on what an easy mode means in a game like this. For example, they should have little to no penalties for negative moods. They should take reduced damage in combat. They should essentially be practically godmode because easy mode is for wimps and idiots like myself who have no idea what they're doing, so it shouldn't be a frustrating experience at all.
All that being said, it's cute and decently executed. I'd highly recommend it if you like cute stuff and colony builders. Just know that even if you play easy mode, you'll likely lose against 3 low level rats with a team of 4 combat cats because dev logic.
Oh, and there's not nearly enough wild boars around to increase your combat cats' skills. Maybe theres training dummies or something in the game somewhere, but I haven't found it just yet. There's a glitch where you can add someone as apprentice and they won't even get the little hat if you cancel their movement for the interaction.
Also the HUD needs work. It's based on Sims and another game, but it isn't as intuitive. Takes forever to figure out which icon means what and where their action queue is because the tutorial doesn't describe any of that. But again, I'd still recommend the game because it's definitely a good game. I just wish it were a far less frustrating experience... (Add a "bubble blowing baby" mode, please. Thanks.)
I absolutely love this game! The artwork is beautiful and the cats are adorable. It is a city builder mixed with a bit of farming and combat. I played 20+ hours in the demo so I was already very familiar with the game before purchasing it at the Winter Sale. Needless to say, I am in love with Catizens!

Cute and replayable, good customization and level progression I hope they continue to work on the game and add more maps to it so that it has more gameplay

this game is so fun I love all the cute little cats and their personalities. I wish you could name them whatever you want though. I can't wait to see what future updates will hold >_<
Cute and laid-back city builder with a lot of nice details of cat's personality and relationships, which allows you to dive deeper into the gameplay and makes these little catworld more complete.
Cons: UI seems a little bit overloaded and not always clear; the fog is too aggressive and feels like there are not enough options for customization of your village for now. Hope this will be fixed someday.
3,9 hours in game for now. No bugs were caught and no cat has died, so I think I am doing great.
This has the potential to be good, but right now its little more than an incomplete proof of concept demo:
UI is a mess, and very clunky, and needs a lot more polish.
The cat interactions feel very shallow, and nothing interesting happens when cats are friends or enemies, other than 'happiness' buffs/negs which increase/decrease speed.
A number of tech trees are just incomplete and broken (blacksmith shield skill doesn't enable creating shields, ranger taming branch doesn't do anything, Knight's sword branch doesn't allow use of the tier 2 sword, architect skill to move buildings didn't seem enabled yet).
Farming and feeding your cats is awful. Crafting takes an eternity, with no progress indicator. I had a farmer, with cooking trait and he had a request to make 3 loaves of bread in 60 hours. He was never able to complete it, despite me forcing him to work on bread the moment he woke up, to the moment he fell asleep from exhaustion. I have a strong feeling that you cannot create a sustainable community of cats. They eat too much, and cannot cook unless they are farmers leveled up into cooking skills. Fishing can only be done by cats with fishing traits, and fishing holes become depleted. meat on the field runs out.
Controlling the cats is a nightmare. There are some cats with the trait that makes it so you cannot control them at all; I fail to see why anyone would invite cats into their town with this trait. The game could be well described as a cat herding simulator, which when trying to deal with monsters that two-shot your cats is a lot less fun than it sounds.
Maybe put this one back in the oven for a few more months.
Looks like crap compared to the screenshots. Also the tutorial sucks. Not worth finding out if it gets better. They are banking on your love of cats.
this is a fun little colony sim, but if you're looking to play it for sandbox mode and not campaign mode, i'm not sure if i'd recommend it or not. it only takes like 4 hours to reach the end of the available content in sandbox mode.
this game is not worth $15.99 for me in its current state.
Catizens is an adorably cute city building strategy game. A balance of Sims-Like catual and general City building RTS. This gives it more direction
You train your cats in various specialties, and eventually take on enemies who will try to loot and pillage your growing city. You grow your village to produce food and resources to either use to feed your cats and grow further or to sell for gold to use on other things.
The game has a perfect balance of laid back casual with strong strategic hardcore strategy elements peppered in to keep direction in your gameplay. It is rare to see a game strike this balance so early in it's early-access run, and it includes a difficulty selection to allow you to select the balance right for you.
Who will like it:
Do you like cute cats?
Do you like laid back slow and steady strategy games?
Do you enjoy games where you build cities?
Well you'll like it.
Does anything that isn't a blood and guts ego shooter make you puke?
Do you like your games ultra-hardcore competitive like DOTA?
Do you prefer games you can play in 5 minute sessions?
You probably should look elsewhere.
Honestly this is one of the best games I have played in a while, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who thinks they are in the right audience for the game.
As a note, it works PERFECTLY out of box under Proton, and has incredibly low system requirements, so I see no reason why it wouldn't work on Steam Deck, although I haven't tested it myself. The only possible issue I see is converting the keyboard/mouse controls to the controller, but other RTS games have dealt with that, and I know the community has created
If you're looking for an actual city builder, this isn't it.
The games cute, but very barebones. I bought it because I've had my eye on it for awhile, but after spending over a good hour in the game, it just didn't feel like a game. You have a handful of buildings you can build, with some unlocking when you resolve requests from your cats. You can have them talk to each other and become BFF's, but that's about it.
Alright, so I finished currently available three and a half missions and I think that time has come to give this masterpiece a proper meowiew.
Do I love Majesty? -Yes
Do I love Sims? -Yes
Do I love city building simulators? -Yes
Do I love cats? -Of course yes!
If you are in love with at least two things I mentioned above, you will really love Catizens!
And since I'm in love with all four things mentioned above I can say for sure: this game is amazing!
What's more important, the further the development process goes - the better this game will become, you will even fight a dragon. Or a few dragons. I don't know yet, but I love dragons as well, so I'm just anticipating the future patches.
One thing is for sure - this game is absolutely a must-have =^-^=
Keep in mind that I've only experienced the Sandbox so far because this is usually my favorite mode in those sorta game and didn't have time for story.
I recommend because this game has a lot of potential and since it's Early Access and not a full release it's decent enough. I love the idea, love the kitties, love the look. Being that I played Early Access Day 1 release I was expecting bugs and glitches.
Which there are; all the buildings spawned in my sandbox world were either too low or too high from the ground so the cats could no destroy them and I can't build anything in that area cause there's something there. It isn't game breaking and didn't really change anything in the gameplay but that's obviously not a thing that should happen. There is a string command message thing when you look at the corkboard in the Town Hall that pops up, which again is not game breaking but still a bug.
Other than that there are only 2 maps of Sandbox (unless my luck wasn't there and just randomly got the same ones the 4 times I started a new Sandboxes) one of them has an odd but interesting layout with paths and such, but the other one looks wider and better for wide "cities". The only problem, maybe that is just me that sucks at the game, I'm no pro gamer after 4 hours of gameplay ofc, but that wider map has a wolf den really close to the starting area. The 2 times I have started a Sandbox in it my only guard kitty got obliterated both times and the young wolf was first very op compared lv1 kitties health wise, and since my only guard gets overkilled and the wolf is relentless, everyone ended up dying and I had to restart the Sandbox after less than 10 minutes in that map both times. Like I said, maybe I just suck or have bad luck on that map, but that is my experience so far.
As for the other Sandbox map, it was fun to explore, the old buildings were floating, but that's still where 90% of my playtime went into. This one also has a wolf den near the beginning but I managed both times to be far enough so the wolf wouldn't go on a wild hunt and kill everyone and I had enough time to kill it between some rests. As per usual to new strategy games your first city always ends up being poorly organized cause you don't know anything yet so this is why was I tried switching to the killer wolves map to start fresh but got humbled savagely.
Overall fun cute game, I look forward to try the story mode and what the future hold for the game in general!
Haven't played RimWorld, which they compare this game with, but...
It mostly reminds me of Warcraft 3, if there were:
- almost no enemies (except murlocs)
- passive perks instead of skills
- cranky cats under your control instead of warriors
And all because of familiar mechanics with base (town) development, resource management, exploring the map, and system with the levels (chapters).
Although it's in EA (obviously) and the game has some flaws (weird fog of war, offbeat UI, and other minor things), it's fun.
The thing is you can't control these cats completely since at any moment they can decide to do whatever they want because of their traits. So, management is a big deal here. Choose which cats to hire, develop both them and the town and prevent troubles. Because these cats LOVE to get into trouble.
8 hairballs out of 10, will be waiting for further updates
Oh, and it's pretty lovely social aspect there with the cats chatting and fighting each other depending on their temper
I've spent more than 5 hours playing this game at my first session and finally I can say – these cats and their houses are so cute and different! I like this feature that every cat has their own personality and type of work in the town. Purr-fect!
I recreated my real cats in the game and gave them the same traits. Now I can play with them on a trip from a laptop. One of them is a coward knight and another - an architector with acrophobia. Heh
Quite a lot of features for an early access city builder, wasn't expecting that :D
Looks very promising and is fun already.
A wonderful game. I was especially pleased with the interface. I don't like cats very much, but these cats are cute. About birds - at first, when I saw them, I thought it was just a visual, but it turned out that they were eating food. Scoundrels!
