StarCrossed plays like a classic arcade space shooter except your only weapon is the star bouncing between you and your partner. Timing and teamwork are key! Use your positioning to line up the perfect shot and defeat the waves of enemies!
ARCADE MODE
In Arcade Mode, it's an all-out race for points against increasing waves of enemies. The longer you play, the harder it'll get, so it's up to you and your partner to play your hearts out and reach for the stars! Your scores will be saved for easy viewing, and even be visible on a Global Leaderboard!
STORY MODE
The Nova Galaxy is an empire of unified peoples, physically pulled and held together through time and space with the power of the Harmony Crystal. Though it is constantly protected by the royal family, in past times of crisis the Harmony Crystal has anointed five heroes to defend it from harm and thus keep the galaxy unified. StarCrossed is the story of a new time of crisis and the new heroes chosen to fight.

Love the art style, and idea of the game, but as a solo player it was impossible for my brain to figure out how to control the two characters separately. Really disappointed because I was super excited to play it.
10/10 art and character design though, plus bonus points for great idea.
2/10 for playing alone
not really good, timing the starboost feels off
This game is fun to pass the time, think of a moving space invaders combined with geometry wars, except it also has a deeper story mode! Best played as couch co-op, but you are able to play single player, its just more difficult and requires practice. Its great for a quick few rounds of arcade mode to keep you entertained, but story mode has variations on bosses so no replay is ever quite the same layout. Enjoyable, fun and much needed heroine gameplay! My only wish would be to be able to modify the buttons for gameplay and if the enemies had names to identify them although I have given them my own names. Pick it up for some fun with your player 2!
A great challenging game that has a unique art style!
I love the punchy music, the cute yet sophisticated art style, and the bad ass women characters. It's super fun to play and I love that it encourages cooperation and coordinated efforts. Girl power!
You get to beat up baddies with space GFs. What more can you ask for?
Definitely the game for you if you are looking for a good spin on the bullet hell genre. It is pretty challenging so far when you are playing single player. I can't wait to get a friend over to play with me!
Long-time fan and KS backer here, super excited to dive into this once I'm home and try out the Steam local co-op mode! Challenging to play with just one controller, but doable. :D
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by the amount of narrative content and interpersonal relationships of the casts. I can't wait to get to know all the characters better!

I first played Starcrossed a few years ago and happy it's finally out. I'm impressed by its new story mode -promoting an array of diverse characters with an awesome art-style. Starcrossed is a hard action arcade game with vibrant and lush characters and locations. I can't wait to play and die more.
It's so fun so far! I'm taking on the challenge of playing both Guardians. It's kicking my ass, but in a way that feels rewarding when I finally get through each part.
The story is cute and the characters are a charming rag-tag magical girl crew I want to follow into battle.
Music is also excellent!

I just recently started playing it but I'm loving it so far, I want to give it more hours when I get some more free time! I'm really liking the characters, the art style, gameplay, and the music is also REALLY good. Congrats on launch!!

Warmed my heart to watch kids plop down and play together, trying to beat their high score. I really vibe with the alien magical girl designs. The story and characters have roped me in!

This game is an awesome co-op arcade game with a narrative driven story mode! The game encourages co-op play but also allows you to play single player by controlling both characters, which adds a nice challenge for those who are looking for one. There's also an arcade mode with leaderboards for those who like seeking high scores. The dialogue throughout the story is driven by the characters you choose, so you can replay it with different character combinations to learn more about each one of them!
It's a charming game that was made by a passionate team
This game is so cute! I love the characters and aesthetic, and it's so great to see more local co-op games being released. The gameplay is fun too, based on a simple core mechanic with interesting added iterations and challenges. I can't wait to play more :)
