Complete rip off of Slay the Spire. The deck cards are identical to StP.. Down to the damages, name and everything. The animations are weak and no sound effects. I would give this a 1.2/10

Plagiarism of Slay the Spire: no polish, awful, sexualized garbage. Has League of Legends characters for no reason.
So this is weird, it looks like old asset flip scammer, Atomic Fabrik, got his hands on someone else'sVadim Starygin's Slay The Spire ripoff and is claiming to be his own work or something. Which is funny because Vadim is a serious criminal who stole the work of others and even got students to make Flash games for him. Without paying the students.
That's a new low for this guy, and this guy runs some of the worst asset flip scams on Steam.
The game is made with Corona2D, Cristian doesn't actually know how to program games in that language, so there's another weird bit of evidence. The game was written by a guy called Badim, and yet now it has Cristian's name all over it. Huh.
Anyway just to be clear that the developer is unethical, I'm not making any of these serious assertions up, and that people should be extremely wary of touching anything from them, here's my evidence.
Atomic Fabrik have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

I think this was a sincere attempt at making a game by Badim, and somehow the game got transferred to this serial offending, highly unethical asset flip scammer, famous for stealing the work of others for profit (see above), and that's why we're dealing with it on Steam (Badim published this game for free on itch and on Google Play, yes, it's a mobile app).
And as always, reviews are about the games, not the shady developers behind asset flip scams. I think it's important for me to mention this, however, because as always, if you buy anything from an unethical, shady developer, you're putting your money at risk. If Valve ever enforces their own rules for their store, this game, like everything else from this asset flip scammer, will be gone.
Regardless, a few words about why this mobile app is garbage and you shouldn't buy it (apart from it being free on Google Play and Itch, so don't buy it on Steam for that reason alone). It's got crap pixel art, it's buggy, it's incomplete, it's a shameless ripoff of Slay the Spire. Corona2D is a particularly crap game engine, and it doesn't result in games of any decent level of quality at all. So there's absolutely zero reason anyone should risk there money buying Royal Booty Quest even if it's cheap. Treat this like any other scam from Cristian.
A nice game to play. It has no bugs, but lots of features. Truly one of the games of 2023.
Visually it's not a masterpiece and overall it's hard to call it an outstanding game, but it's not bad at all. Especially if you take it at a discount.
