Поддерживаемые языки: english, french, italian, german, spanish - spain, polish, portuguese - brazil, simplified chinese, japanese, korean, russian, hungarian

Good typing game, loved the graphics and the lore in this one.
      Controls are really funky though.

This game is very well crafted, I'm enjoying it very much! Thanks!

P.S. I think slow down of enemies when I move is a too much of a debuff, deprives the fights its tactical potential - this needs to be significantly nerfed IMO, whilst base mana regen should be HIGHER

Game is great, different vibe than the first game but with similar basis! it felt easier than the first game (epistory). Some achievements were confusing to get and i got stuck on some textures a few times but you can always respawn!
      Overall a great game!

Nanotale is an awesome typing game that is at the apex of the typing genre. It's actually pretty awesome to play a game with keyboard only, especially a well made game such as Nanotale. Expect about 6 hours of game play (game can be played offline so my hours show as less). The typing is forgiving and pace of enemies isn't too difficult. Coordinating attacks > typing speed.

Awesome game! Picked this up after playing their older typing chronicle game (epistory). This is game is super well done. The fights are fun and the typing doesn't feel like the focus of the game, despite all the controls and fights requiring typing. I really like the combination of spells and the reactions that can be made by typing words.

Comparing it to Epistory, this game is more polished and the movement and fighting is better. They are unrelated story wise though, but you get to ride a fox around and type words to uncover the lore of the world in both. However I would recommend Nanotale prior/over Epistory. Epistory had a higher typing speed requirement to complete the story line (awesome but too hard for beginners). In Nanotale, you can get away with a much slower typing speed, and the world feels a lot more alive and cute (there are NPCs you can talk to and side quests to complete.) However there are a few bugs (character gets stuck) but you can respawn using the menu (not an issue with Epistory).

A promising game marred by far too many bugs. There are many things to like in this game. I used it to teach myself to touch type with a new keyboard and layout, and it was very helpful for that. The adaptive difficulty works well, the lore snippets are fun. the gameplay is surprisingly complex for a typing game, the graphics look nice. The story is nothing special, but serviceable. All in all, it was a successful way to turn learning to touch type into something fun.

But it's been a long time since I encountered a game this buggy. I just had to restart the final boss battle halfway through because it glitched - the dialog tree got confused and went back to a previous part of the conversation and then the terrain moved and trapped my character in place. This did not surprise me much. The devs have put a 'respawn' button in place to save you from such situations, albeit losing some progress, but there should not be so many of them. I've played their previous game, Epistory, which is much less ambitious in gameplay but way more stable and polished. The number of incredibly easy to replicate bugs that have just been left... If they give you a phrase to type in a conversation and you type the space, the highlighted letters will be one off for the rest of the word. You can change keybindings for movement etc, which was very useful on a non-qwerty layout, but when you enter the new keybinding it still fires whatever event it might be bound to. I've also had multiple times when the keybindings have been reset to default when I reload my save. Starting it up on steam deck the performance definitely suffers, and until it had had time to cache a bit it was pretty unplayable. Just lots of little bugs that aren't game breaking but are frustrating and immersion breaking and far too frequent.

Much as I enjoy all the quality of life improvements compared to Epistory and the wider variety of puzzles and magic systems, I'd still have to recommend Epistory over this.

This game takes what worked well in Epistory and improves every system, from the depth of the story, to the control you have over your spells, to how much freedom you have during combat... and the result is that doing so exposes all it's flaws. A deeper story reveals how boring the story is. Having more control over spells reveals how terrible typing is as an interface for spell casting. Freedom in combat changes the strategy in combat enough that it becomes less about typing speed and more about positioning, which isn't great for a game about typing.

But even with all that, it still manages to scratch the 'typing rpg' itch in a way like no other game save Epistory. So, if you've played that and want more, this game delivers on that. If you haven't played that, go play that first. It's a simpler game, and is better because of it.

I would strongly recommend against buying this game. I would even more strongly recommend against playing it.

The first game was good (Epistory). The areas opened up logically and yes there were times when you weren't sure where to go, but you eventually figured it out. Nanotale takes that confusion and multiplies it by 10. Perhaps because the novelty has worn off with the new game, but I really didn't find the story compelling. Not that these games ever had any story, but it's even more evident in this one since, as mentioned, there is no novelty.

There's a whole lot LESS typing, and more wondering around. Which kind of makes one wonder, what were they thinking? Ironically this is something I found to be a cool idea when I started this game for the first time (yes I've been trying to finish it, on and off, for a while), but after a while it got to the point where if I got to start fighting enemies and typing, I was so relieved that I didn't need to deal with wondering around anymore.

In it's defence, this game is pretty. And they've obviously really tried to make it nice. But goodness me, it was just so confusing and I've given up 'cause I realised I was just playing to finish it, not 'cause I was enjoying it. Well, that's one more off the backlog pile.

I enjoyed this game, but I like the first game more. Honestly can't say why.

If you are simply looking for a game to practice typing that isn't mind numbingly boring, this is it. I would recommend Epistory if you are deciding between the two, then Nanotale if you want 'more but different'.

While the new features were interesting, the bugs and performance were a huge step down from Epistory.
It was basically unplayable using custom keybindings to match the control scheme from the previous game.
I liked the way combat changed and the expanded story was interesting, as far as I got.
