Riveting, exciting, kept me on the edge of my seat.
Its a very good puzzle point-n-click game. I hope one day it gets a similar remake as Riven.
A step back from the masterpiece that is Riven, Myst 3: Exile returns to the original Myst formula. While the puzzles here are pretty fun to solve, they also feel even more unnatural and "gamey" than in Myst 1. The story, on the other hand, is far better in Exile than in Myst 1 without a doubt. The graphics are pretty nice but sometimes they're too cluttered and they make navigating certain places a bit hard (especially in the jungle age). Overall a pretty solid game, I definitely recommend it to those who liked Myst 1 better than Riven. If, like me, you prefer Riven, then just beware that this is much closer to Myst 1.

A very challenging game.
Forces you to use your brain rather than your motor responses.
Amazing Graphics especially when you realize how old this game is.
It was way ahead of it's time, in fact, it still is.
25 yrs ago, this game was painful to play. The puzzles scrambled my brain. Never did finish the game. Since then, I grew a few more smarts and have been able to get through the puzzles as I find them. The dev's put out a strategy / help manual out for this. It was almost a novel. I tossed mine out about 10 years ago, thinking....I'm never gonna need this again.

Have been a Myst fan since the beginning. Love how these games challenge the mind. I am a big fan of single player puzzle type games and the Myst series has always delivered. The worlds are wonderful and the scenery is amazing.
A good time for puzzle enthusiasts! Thoroughly enjoyed Amateria. Probably the best age in the series IMO.
IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE PUZZLES ARE HARD
its a great mind gripper, how intelligent are you really, can you open the doors, or turn on the lights or overcome the repairs or replacement issues???? you need unshakeable ingenuity. hehe
This game holds the MYST series up well, 5 different areas each with complicated puzzles. beautiful view all around. highly enjoyable game

All The Myst series is great
This game is okay but I can’t recommend it. The visuals are nice, the story is solid, and Brad Dourif is a treat. The problem is the puzzle design. It just lacks the beautiful simplicity of the first game and doubles down on some of the most infuriatingly complex bullshit. It feels like every puzzle is meant to waste your time with lengthy animations, switches and levers that need to be pulled, unclear rules that seriously hobble your ability to solve almost every single puzzle in the game. It’s just maddening.
