This was a good relaxer to message and cool the brain down from other thoughts before bed.
Cute, well polished little puzzle game. Each world brings a different mechanic to play with to keep it interesting. Played it over the course of a few weeks by finishing a world or a few puzzles here and there. Definitely pick this game up if it's ever on sale.
8.5/10
This game is really enjoyable, although i have only just started the game i can tell that i am going to enjoy finishing it and i am looking forward to future games you make
Just an awesome little puzzle game. Beat it on the Switch and wanted to do it again on Steam Deck.
Good thinky puzzle game. Not that long or that hard. But short and sweet, still with fresh fun mechanics.
Fun puzzle game with a pleasing art style that combines mini golf and cards together. As you progress through the levels, each unique world provides new obstacles to overcome. Overall it's not too difficult, but some levels can be challenging.
One addition it would benefit from is a course builder to enhance replayability.
Golf
Really comfy and addictive puzzle game. I bought, downloaded, and started playing it all entirely on a whim in the throes of procrastination but I am so glad I did.
I often find with puzzle games that they are really fun for the first hour or so and then begin to become difficult enough that each puzzle takes too long and you lose the enthusiasm to keep opening the game back up, but I didn't really find that with this. Golf Peaks has 120(+1) levels, and of those I think I had to look up the solutions to 4 of them, 2 of which were right at the end (second- and third-to-last levels); besides those, I found most of the game to have the right balance of challenge without becoming tedious.
Extremely worth the money, I really enjoyed my time with it. Highly recommend.
It's the second Afterburn game that I bought, and I can say that I want more.
⛳Calm music, different in each world
⛳Tricky levels (yeah, sometimes the decision is not as usual)
⛳Comfortable color palette for tired eyes ^^
⛳You don't need much time to complete the game
Maybe I would like to get the background story as in inbento, but it's still nice.
Don't worry if you stuck on some level, move in your pace.
is good
Fun and addictive puzzle game. Updated menu adds even more visual interest in the game.
gg
freaking hard D: this team always has solid art concepts and really hard puzzles, do if you dare
absolutely delightful
easy enough to be chill, but difficult enough to make you think.
i've played it one world at a time, i'm sure it would be a little tedious if you tried to do it in one sitting
Awesome
Cute lil puzzler
Good Game
Relaxing card and golf-inspired strategy with a nice presentation. Golf Peaks is reminiscent of puzzle books from a retail store, being casual and accessible while remaining challenging. The difficulty curve was well done, and you require no knowledge of the sport to play while still capturing the essence of the game. Concepts never overstay their welcome, and the pace at which you are taught is perfect, in addition to leaving you enough time to learn from experimentation. There are multiple solutions, fun bonus levels, and excellent accessibility options. Moreover, there are no consequences for retrying or restarting. Fantastic experience for those who love puzzle games!
A fun little puzzle game with challenging levels that aren't extremely difficult. 13/10, would recommend to any puzzle enjoyers.
Nice and kind game. I wish we could have more such games on Steam nowadays
Nice idea for a puzzle game, but I found it extremely difficult to finish, not my cup of cake.
Recommended for those that like puzzles > golf mechanics, but a nice blend of both.
Some of these puzzles get really frustrating and confusing, the undo button is a godsent though. Don't play this if you're in a bad mood. It's not afraid to give you a challenge once you get out of the earlier worlds, which is sometimes sorely missing in puzzle games.
Golf Peaks is incredibly satisfying! The combination of golf and puzzle elements creates a unique and addictive experience. The levels are well-designed, gradually increasing in difficulty without ever feeling frustrating. Plus, the calming visuals and music make it a joy to play. Perfect for short gaming sessions or longer puzzle-solving marathons!
Very fun, short puzzle game with a golf theme. Enjoyed it quite a lot!
Just a fun little puzzle game. I enjoyed it.
Short and sweet puzzle game. Doesnt overstay its welcome. Not especially golf-related.
ok
Fun and quick. Starts to get challenging about halfway through, but not too frustrating. Good level design. Some puzzles require an understanding of the mechanics. Some have clever paths and red herrings. Some just require basic math. Worth 5 dollars, and especially 1 when it goes on sale.
Fun, creative, and quite pretty puzzle game.
Golf Peaks has 10 worlds each with their own unique mechanics, which are always demonstrated in the first level with a simple puzzle. You know a puzzle game is good when you learn as you play and experiment.
It has very relaxing music and toned down colors.
Loads of content for a small price.
I just wish there was some more lighting/shadows, because sometimes it's hard to see if a platform is raised or just further in the back.
Golf Peaks is a clever puzzle game that uses golf mechanics without requiring any actual golfing skill. Players navigate a grid of tiles, using numbered cards to determine how far the ball moves. The goal is to get the ball into the hole using the available cards. While the game is simple to learn, it presents challenging puzzles with various obstacles like sand, water, and springboards. Golf Peaks is a well-designed, stylish game that offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for puzzle enthusiasts. Give it a try!
easy puzzle game. Good to spend time on if you want to relax from other games
Relaxing, easy puzzle game. Good to spend couple of hours at evening.
I’ve completed GP on iOS before, years ago. I remember being very impressed at the time. Nothing changed on PC. It’s still a simple concept that works so well while accompanied by appealing graphics, UI, sound, controls, quick load times and content. What makes it impressive is how polished all these elements are and yet the price is kept affordable at €5. There are 120 puzzles divided in 10 worlds and a small hidden secret. The worlds are varied in terms of visual themes and gameplay mechanics. Things are kept fresh while challenge increases gradually.
However, there will come a point where the game turns into trial and error a bit too much with certain puzzles. You do have a button to go back to previous steps which is great but I do think having a hint option would have made the game better. I’ve gotten stuck on 5-6 puzzles, 3 I was only in need of knowing one step to send me in the right direction. Having a hint showing one step at a time would have been perfect for GP.
That’s all I really have against the game in terms of flaws. The game is also very good about achievements. They’re basically asking you to complete all the 120 puzzles and find the secret which is motivating and more than enough. It took me around 6.7 hours to 100% the game while looking up the solution for 6 puzzles. I highly recommend GP if you like these type of puzzle games. While the price of €5 is a good one, it’s also often on sale, making it a very good deal.
Golf meets puzzle in a unique and enjoyable way.
A great puzzle game overall. Some levels came intuitively, some not so much and required trial and error, a lot of trial and error in some cases. Would love to see more.
Fun little puzzle game that does a good job of introducing new concepts as you go through each world to expand on the core game play while never allowing the concepts to get stale.
While some of the puzzle took some thought and multiple attempts, this never became frustrating (especially thanks to a nice undo function that allows you to easily step back 1 move at a time to try different options without needing to just restart from scratch)
Outside of the basic concepts (sand, water, get ball in hole) doesn't really use the "golf" concept at all, and actually would have enjoyed some extra unlockable challenges on a few puzzles to have you find ways to complete them in less cards (shots). I feel like were multiples where I did this anyways, but would have been nice just to have a few holes called out where it tells you it could be completed using less than normal to encourage some extra game play especially if were ones where full card solution might have been easy to discover. (currently no reason to replay any levels once you finish them the first time)
Achievements are all straight forward (most are just beat the worlds, with an extra one related to completing the 3 extra puzzles per world, and one related to the credits of sorts)
I only paid a little over a dollar on a recent steam sale so well worth it for the 5-6 hours it took me to finish everything. NOTE: I had also purchased previously on iPhone years ago without ever finishing and the controls translated great to a mouse based scheme vs touch based.
My daughter has also played my iPhone version before and enjoyed the game play as well. (she has watched some of my recent PC play though but hasn't played it yet)
Quick and simple game with amazing soundtrack as you putt a ball around a card base golfing game. 8/10 Rocks of Rock and Stones.
World 7 #1
I really enjoyed this one.
The puzzles were the right mix of challenging and doable. I felt like most of the time I could come to a conclusion about what I should do.
There were times when I managed to get to a solution by fumbling around for a bit. I didn't mind though because it didn't take too long. (Apart from level 10-10 where I had to look it up because I was going round in circles.)
The good thing is that there aren't too many mechanics put together at once. I can't help but compare it to Inbento, where I had a much harder time. Golf Peaks was more fun and satisfying and I found myself wanting to play more.
Good, fun little game. I will note that some of the puzzles do not have strategies to solve them that are easier and more engaging than brute-forcing them, but many of the puzzles are very fun and interesting.
These devs make great puzzles. Super fun with some real headscratchers towards the end
