RollerCoaster Tycoon®: Deluxe

I remember this game from when I was a child. I loved it and played so many hours of it. Just got back into it as an adult. The addiction is back but I do have some other feedback. However, I do need to look into the other types of RCT to see if those editions have addressed my feedback already before I speak. GREAT game, love it still and worth the buy with memories.

Reliving one of my childhood favourite games -- the fun I had... and the frustration ;')

I loved playing RCT as a kid, it is so incredibly nostalgic for me. Being able to revisit it as an adult and work my way through the scenarios tickles a part of my brain no other game has been able to do.

Its fun and easy

It's hard to give a good review of this game.
I gave a positive review because of the nostalgic feel (I first played this 20 years ago).

It is a fun a game that very easily becomes boring.
Always the same objectives that vary only in the amount you get asked to reach or maintain on a given duration.

I'd like to recommend this game but won't. For the price and nostalgy buy it but, new players who seek something challenging, I'd advise to look somewhere else.

The phsyics have been completely reversed.

i keep getting sued for some reason (rollercoasters all end on a cliff 100 feet in the air)

Classic, love this game

The year is 2025. This game came out as a kid, and it still holds up as one of the best Tycoon games.
The classic difficulty behind it makes it a bit more challenging to work with by comparison to RCT2 or RCT3, and that's not to hold it back.
The game is super cheap, and it honestly goes on sale way cheaper. You'll have hours of work ahead of you to play this, and I dont think anyone would be disappointed if you enjoy a bit of a challenge and such style games.

This has been my favorite game for 25 years. Nothing has changed and I still love it so much!

A Tycoon where you get to build and Manage your own theme park. Build Rides, add food and drink kiosks. Enjoy the game!!!

Once I finally got this game working, I haven't stopped playing! Such good memories playing this in the early 00's. Classic.

Exactly how you remember it, running exactly as you remember it. A blast from the past kept in pristine condition and still running like a dream on modern systems. A must have for anybody born before the year 2000.

This is a great classic game! Although I do wish there was a modern resolution I could set it at because even at the highest resolution, the game is stretched a little bit.

Played when when I was a kid. Now as an adult I have the same fun but with an understanding of the financial involved in the game. It like own and building your own theme park without the real life conquences. Though my play time is low now it will continue to grow greatly

True classic. Would recommend using this game with OpenRCT2 for the best experience (look it up).

First played this game when I was a young child on an old version of windows that no longer works. (Windows XP or something) Now as an almost 30 year old, I still love playing this game! Mostly nostalgic but I love the open world/sandbox style, you can play to accomplish goals or just play to enjoy, and you can build your own coasters. Easy to understand and navigate, old game mechanics, classic game, many maps to choose from, and lots of achievements to gain. Highly recommend for gamers who enjoy the classic PC games and/or building your own attractions.

Worth the 6 dollars and its one of those nostalgia games!

Got this game because I remembered that post online of some guy's little brother playing classical music and playing Rollercoaster Tycoon, and I thought it'd be hilarious to try out myself. I've enjoyed my time playing this game, though not fully understanding how to do things, but it's still fun.

My god, the nostalgia... and honestly, in terms of gameplay/replayability, this game is hands down a classic.

This is the first computer game I introduced to my 7 year old son, and now he's a pro (probably accounted for at least 100 hours of my 142 played here).
Fun for basically all ages and individuals. Easily a game that withstands test of time and is an all time classic.

Great game. Can play this for hours. This Steam version is a little buggy though, but its still very playable and fun.

The GOAT of the classic sim games. Still as fun as ever.
