I love playin' with my SNKRX!
I've put a good 40 hours into this game. Its just fun. Its 3 bucks. Get it. Its mindless fun, cool mechanics. I wish it would open up to the workshop or the creator would make another game one with more heroes. Very fun overall.
Always come back to it, great game to have a few rounds on when youre burnt out on other games.

wiggle wiggle
phenomenally done game with a simple concept. It is absolutely worth 3 dollars. Took me a while to beat NG+5 (new game) since I was being stubborn but I just decided to do the easy win route, which is a warrior build.
By the end of it you can only play one or two builds by NG+4 to consistently win. So if you only want to play builds you enjoy just stick to difficulties before that.
this game is like if they took risk of rain 2 and then extracted the part after you start looping where you just kill everything and get unlimited infinite dopamine. it fuckin rules
Considering how much this game costs, it is extremely fun. If you are playing this game I recommend going for the achievements as it makes the game a bit more challenging and engaging to play. The synergies between the items and classes are well done and the 'boss' fights can actually be pretty difficult sometimes.

An amazingly addictive game, great for when you want to pass some time; build possibilities are extensive, NG+ opens up for new possibilities and the more you explore the more you'll be wowed by the options. Considering the price, this is a MUST BUY if you like roguelikes!

SNKRX
This is probably one of the best small rouge type games I have ever played. It's simple, easy to understand, and overall super easy to have fun playing. The combinations of classes and their types makes for a really fun experience that allowed me truly enjoy the little time I sometimes had on my computer. I got a solid 48 hours out of this $3 game, and that is a serious WIN for me. Like most people, I stopped playing this game due to the developers decision to stop updating it, which I understand. Personally, I really do not think that the lack of development is a good reason to not purchase this game. Trust me, its good.
In case the developer sees this
This is a rare game for me, and it is sad that the developer has decided to not update it. But whats even more tragic is that (as far as I understand), the developer has no plans on creating games in the future. There is so much potential in this kind of small project, and I can respect if he just lost passion for game development. However, if the decision to stop creating games is solely on his worry of overdeveloping, I really pray that he decides to make more. Get some testers (willing volunteer right here), experiment, fail the experiment, and make a solid game for people looking for these kind of gems.

I don't get the absurd amount of complaints this game gets.... Its cheap, has a simple mechanic (Snake with combat).
Games are not forever, this game is complete and fun for the price point. Development has stopped and that is ok, devs are not beholden to eternal updates.
Grab the game, have 5+ hours of fun gameplay, go eat something and that is it.
for the price, snkrx offers an insane amount of content... I'm amazed at how much it achieves with minimalism and simple art style

Can get frustrating because the game isn't well-balanced in some aspects, I find it very fun though. I missed the game a bit when I finally got everything done. The soundtrack is an absolute bop.
You get what you pay for. It's good for a few plays.
It's a really solid (short) roguelike; the best feature is the NG+ mechanic that allows you one extra length to your snake for every run won, which allows you to make more combinations
It's fine. Starts off fun. But in 5 hours of 30 minute runs, I have won many, but had 0 builds really come together. I play for critters, get zero passives. I play for merchants, get zero of their passives. I play for warriors, get zero of their passives. Usually roguelites lean towards giving you gear you can use vaguely. Not here. The visual style is simple, and so it the RNG. Great minimalism that looks clean, but plays quite boring after a short while.
SNKRX was a fun game while it was being developed. Although the depth of mechanics is somewhat lacking, figuring out the puzzle of what works and what doesn't was compelling. Unfortunately the developer abandoned the game in early 2022 and in its current state the game is not worth the purchase. The developer does not seem likely to produce games in the future, which is a real shame.

the shop system is very similar to autochess games so if youre familiar with them you should have no difficulty getting into this game
this game looks simple but it has no tutorial and the symbols on the classes and their synergies are very unclear. i don't want to read a wiki before i can enjoy this game :/
forgot i bought this
The orange enemies are really annoying and overpowered and one shot for no reason. Very, very obnoxious. I want to build a build and I get none of the classes I want because they are so rare, which is annoying. This game also just needs a workshop so it doesn't get stale, its legit made for that kind of thing, but doesn't have one???
Update: Sadly I learned the dev doesn't give a shit about this game and is letting it die off I guess over NFTs. Kinda sucks. It really sucks getting one shot by nonsense like the hard to see mines or the hard to see orange enemies, really ruins the experience when one of my units dies from something I can't see due to all the visual clutter.
All and all, game feels like a prototype. Just not enough to keep me playing IMO, really generic and has gotten stale for me, mainly due to the fact I can't go other builds because of the rarity of certain body segments and how builds like the sorcerer get one shot by the orange enemies.
This game does one thing, and it does it really well. A master class in how different classes can make themes of units, which synergise with each other to make for cool outcomes. I recommend it to anyone interested in game design, or anyone who wants to have fun for $2.

One of my favorite roguelites of all time. So much bang for your buck, so addictive, so replayable. Masterpiece. Thank you so much for developing this game. It's perfect.

An awesome little roguelike with a ton of fun to be had, some awesome strategies and synergies are here, and it is just kinda charming.
I've just 100%ed the game and it was a really fun journey.
Given it's price, I'd say it's absolutely worth it.
