this game is very underrated and i think more people should play it because it is very fun and enjoyable
Lovely game, gets a little difficult when trying to grind dia rank and a little repetitive but its a lot of fun
Fun to jump in, good for a couple hours, but replayability is limited. Good to snag on sale if you need a new 3d action rogue like to sink some hours into, but don't expect to get more than a dozen or so runs out of this one.
Crab Champions is just goated. Plain and simple. Great to be carried in.
Multi-player/co-op directions need to be more clear. Other than that, it's the tits.
Very fun, starting to get boring though but they will update it. Got to round like 90 on true nightmare and got all weapons so not really much else to do.
All fun and games till the FPS drops and your gun becomes a hybrid of a RPG, Shotgun aswell as a Minigun

such a fun game to play with friends and laugh at how broken your character becomes. it is definitely a master piece for only 15$ (including tax). support this game at all costs as it is better then the AAA titles coming out right now. would highly recommend to anyone.
Crab champions is a tour de force in its take on the roguelike genre as it tackles both the satisfaction of obliterating all in your path and the dreaded feeling of getting wrecked through its customizable difficulty. I like this game because the cosmetics are rewarded through doing achievements which can range from beat game on hard mode to get 10k max health. Its one of the few games that makes me want to earn achievements not just for the sake of because it's fun but because I can get that drip. Theres so much praise to give this game but others have done it far better than this review would. In short this game is worth the green as it has a lot of good systems that all you roguelike mfs want. Theres still more to come since its early access. I am looking forward to more content drops until 1.0 from this absolute mad lad of a dev
great game to just pick up n lose a few hours on, great content to unlock, great music, controls feel GREAT, graphics are great! 11/10 and its only early access!!

I bought this game on release day, thinking I was going to have 30 minutes of mindless entertainment to the tune of crab rave.
Instead, I was rewarded with a co-op roguelike experience beyond my expectations, a developer who connects with the community and provides updates at regular intervals, and hours of replay-ability and hyperbolic scaling. To the tune of crab rave.
Excellent game. Money well spent. Buy this game if you're under stimulated and aren't afraid of crabs.
awesome game easy hour sink I do dislike the idea of adding exceptions to the rule you used to be able to affect bosses with knockback and it got removed for out of bounds kills it would've been better to add some the same consequence the player has for out of bounds instead honestly
Sooooo much fun esp with multiplayer! You can keep repeating and get over millions of dmg with just 1 or 2 ppl. Super duper mindless fun - mega reccomended

I don't usually get in to these types of games, but this game is so fun. Some skill is required, but mostly luck based. its so satisfying when you get on a good run and you get the movement down. I'd buy it again.
Most of this game is great, but, to whoever designed the achievements that involve not taking damage:

Seriously, though, why does it count blocked damage? And how do you expect it to be possible when every third level a crab will obtain the power of hyperspeed and fly across the map to smack you? Come on, man, be real.
Cannot stress enough how good the rest of the game is though.
Legit a really fun game with tons of replay ability and a nice chunk of content. The game is unfinished, but it shows fantastic potential. I can't wait to see more of this game!!!!
I tried to crash the game with clone explosion and other particle effects and it did not fucking crash, it could handle 10000 grenades. Fuck you, Noisestorm, for making a well optimized game.
10/10 would try another 4 hour run to try to crash the game again.
I love mass murdering insects, crustaceans, and skulls! This game is really fun and has a lot of different things to kill. With many different runs and things to do, it is a great game with lots of replayability.
I cannot believe how much fun me and my friends have had with this game over the last couple of years. Every update keeps the game fresh, challenging, and as fun as ever. The premise is pretty simple and goofy, but the gameplay can be as challenging as you want it to be. This is one that I have been actually trying to complete all of the achievements for because they are all enjoyable to do! Every run feels unique, and it is just as much fun solo as it is with friends.
The only thing I wish would be different would be that the skins that are unlocked achievements could be all unique instead of re-used. But I totally get that would take quite a bit of time and it is not at all required.

Lots of variety in terms of difficulty level. Keeps me coming back trying to beat the higher levels.
Huge variety of weapons, melee, and throwables. Countless types of powerups that under the right circumstances and with a little bit of luck you can break the game in glorious ways!

[Let Me First State that I've Played a Lot Of Action Rouge-likes and Bullet-Hells in My Time on Earth but this Game with its Hilarious Concept and Amazing Execution Has Landed Its Way into Top 3 Action rouge-likes ive Played 9.3/10 ] ~-~ Sorry if i come off as egotistical or anything im just tying to make more serious reviews
its a fun rogue-like. however, there isn't a ton of content. still early access. focus on ranking up your account and you'll have a fun game to play when you aren't playing with your friends. i rate it 6 out of 10. i'm sure it will get better but keep in mind that it's early access.
This is a really addicting game I've played more than 300 hours and yes sounds like I don't go out side but this is one of the best games I've played.
For the price this game will keep you entertained. Not trying to be anything it's not. A fun little time consumer
This is straight up one of the best games I've ever played. Every single time this game has the chance to do something good, it does something great instead. Addresses every complaint I've ever had about games like Risk of Rain 2 and I am delighted to see how this game evolves with future updates. Truly makes you feel like a crab champion

I've spent over 200 hours playing this game both by myself and with friends, and now that I have finally 100%'d the game, I can say that it is easily one of my favorite roguelikes of all time! I hope to see more updates and challenges in the future :)
Such a fun game to jump into for a bit with friends or solo! The gameplay, weapons and power ups are all well thought out and executed. I would highly recommend this game to Rogue-like fans.
i enjoy playing this game but please turn down enemy aiming for the love of god, i try to dodge in every conceivable way i can and its still not enough

Too much fun, a fantastic game to just vibe in and obliterate crabs/slugs/skulls with up to 8 people total, could not recommend enough!!!!

Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played! The Discord is full of people looking to do difficult runs and it's a nice little community for the most part. The build diversity in this game is what makes it shine. Keep collecting perks and become a Crab God!!!
Me and my friends really enjoy this game, it's basically risk of rain but with crabs. Even though we had a lot of fun, I still have a few gripes with the game that I hope will be adressed:
The game feels too easy, especially elite enemies, even on nightmare mode the game just feels very trivial. Weapon balance is not very good, some weapons feel utterly useless while some are OP. Mostly non AOE weapons like pistols, rifles and such feel very lacking as most islands have lots of weak enemies. Weapons like the flamethrower and ice wand are not only better in the early game but also have more upgrades which make them significantly better.
This is going to sound crazy, but I like it more than Risk of Rain 2, because you're not spending all this time looking for a teleporter, something that has always annoyed me about that game. It's definitely not as deep with the power ups and classes though, unfortunately.
Played a single run for 7 hours, I didn't even need to touch the ground or shoot a gun after level 50.
the game is fun but the creator has failed to balance some things and it really takes out of the fun and makes the average players have even less the game has such high skill jump and the AI basically shoot where ur going if ur moving constantly aka literal aim bot the aim assist is very strong too recommend turning it down or of the projectiles got and update and now the field is literally covered in them and its very overwhelming i spent a ton of hours in the game and have 2 diamond weapons and the 3rd was a stump cuz 5 dmg a shot with 7 bullets which hits 60 dmg a shot im really dissapointed it is really fun other then some things the update was good cuz maps needed a little more map and less holes water and lava but the enemys be spraying so much sometimes its literally impossible to dodge and parry them and in nightmare all modifiers ur basically able to get 1 tapped my wave 8 9 id say its very annoying
At first, it’s all fun and games—hopping around, blasting enemies, picking up loot, you now...crabs with guns.... But soon, the screen’s flashing like than a rave, my mouse hand is cramping up, and I’m pretty sure I started hearing my PC crying in the background. But here i am thinking "Was that the game music or my cooling fan giving its last breath?" Who knows, don't care, i'm a grab with a mini-gun.
The real challenge wasn’t surviving the levels—it was figuring out what would break first: my graphics card, my brain, or my will to live. But here’s the kicker—we didn’t stop. We kept going. Because at some point, it wasn’t about winning, it was about proving we could outlast the game and our own PCs.

Good game one of the better rougelikes ive played in a while only issue damage stacks so fast youll be standing still and sometimes just die lmaoo but good game just maybe a bit less damage
So basically, you're a human that was turned into a crab. In a factory. A bomb factory. You're a bomb. And also you have to fight a plethora of completely normal crabs of which have no elemental or item-based attributes. They're all just normal crabs. The one that throws explody things at you is just poop, just like what monkeys do in the zoo all the time to tourists. Also the skull things are their own separate entity that are actually being held up by an invisible crab with a long pole, like some kind of Mexican pinata. They can spit ice because they always have one of those cold breath mints in so when they spit, ice comes out. Also the ones that shoot fire at you are still just normal crabs, but they *HAVE CRABS* and the fire is just the result of their urinary tract infection. Overall a 10/10 game. Would love to commit geneva suggestions on completely normal crabs again. Also the developer should add a spoon as a melee weapon because i want to pick up the crabs in the spoon and throw them back in the ocean where they belong. By the way can antibiotics cure crabs? Like, the std? So does that mean that antibiotic kill completely normal crabs too? I think a good idea for a dlc weapon would be a spray bottle. What am i doing here again?
It is a really good game! Good unlocking system and not taxing on graphics (with the right settings).
Game is fantastic. Keeps you hooked looking for that next perk. Super fun with friends trying different builds. The greed perks lets the gamble set in.
