I Am Bee
This game is a really cute simulator! It has lots of cute interactions and a great storyline and it also helps you learn many new facts about bees and how important they are for the ecosystem! I definitely recommend playing this game!
I honestly bought it with the intention of just getting an easy 100% achievement game to add to my list. But, it was a lot of fun! A very fun, family-friendly, game with a ton of facts about bees and all the animals they effect in the ecosystem. If you catch it on sale and you're an animal lover or fan of simulator games, give it a try. It's short and a great experience!
I've played for almost 5 hours and what can I say and I would advise the developers to listen. The game is really cool, it can even be used in schools I think, because it is instructive and useful. They did a good job on animations, cutscenes and illustrative inserts, voice acting, open bee world, level design.
But. But until I played through the main story campaign, it seemed to me that this was an indie game: the animals were bought on FAB, and from the same developer (studio). It's not a bad thing, they are professionally and qualitatively created. Since the game is about a bee simulator, I have a question: why is there so little detail in the hive itself? The honeycombs look flat, could you at least add a bump or displacement to the honeycomb textures to make them look more realistic? Maybe it's an optimization issue, but if you're making a game about bees, I think the detail should be directed in this vector. I am also interested in where is the honey? If there was at least one scene of honey animation, it would add more immersion. But you worked on customizing the bee, its skins and hats)))) It's strange. Is this a studio level? It looks like you don't have a 3D department, or it's weak, or you used freelancers for these tasks, although you have a very strong 2D department (illustrations, glossary), and the animations, rigging are also very well done (we're talking about insects), of course I don't know, but looking at the level of 3D, maybe they were also bought from another developer.
Next. Localization. There are complaints here. Excellent voice acting, illustrative subtitles for the languages in the game. Special respect to the composers and those responsible for the musical component.
I'm interested in how the developers chose the languages for localization and by what criteria. Even if this was an indie game, I think the developer would have asked where beekeeping is popular in the world to increase the number and quality of the target audience for this game. According to the World Association of Beekeeping Organizations, China is the largest honey producer in the world. Other significant producers and global exporters of honey include India, Argentina, Ukraine, Brazil, the United States, and Turkey. Therefore, developers should add languages of these countries first of all. It's good that VARSAV Game Studios is developing an updated game Bee Simulator: The Hive and they promise to add more languages for localization, but still, at the moment, there are no Hindi, Farsi, or Ukrainian languages, which surprises and shocks me.
It would have been important to add Ukrainian in the first version, but I hope it will appear in the updated version. Why is it so important? Firstly, Petro Prokopovych (1775-1850), a Ukrainian beekeeper who created the world's first collapsible frame hive in 1814, is considered the founder of modern beekeeping. Secondly, according to unofficial data, there are about half a million beekeepers in Ukraine, and the traditions of this craft have been developing since ancient times. Thirdly: VARSAV Game Studios is a Polish company that should have understood these aspects from the very beginning, because Poland borders Ukraine. But for some reason, they decided to add Russian first, and I understand that this is a large audience, but they should have thought about quality, not quantity, and found out where it is popular and relevant(beekeeping). Perhaps the developers thought that Russian would be relevant for Ukraine or simply ignored this factor. The only thing I can say is that Ukraine is not Russia. The official language in Ukraine is Ukrainian.
In general, the game is cool, but I found it a bit crude in some aspects. I hope the developers will correct their mistakes, finalize the game and make it even better and more interesting. We are looking forward to the release of Bee Simulator: The Hive. Thanks to the developers and for your attention as readers!
Suuuper cute game! Although, as informative as it is in between the fantasy elements, I found the teensy error of declaring the honey bee to be endangered. It's not. The bee species that are endangered are the wild ones that aren't specifically cultivated by humans. The ones that even get displaced from an area whenever a human places a bee hive box somewhere. But that's a whole can of worms. Despite that detail, I love the game!
Just be warned that it is a really short main story. I finished it after around four hours.
I would pretty much entirely NOT recommend this game to anyone if you think it's gonna be like most simulators. Maybe it's ok for kids, but this should be a console game on xbox game pass so little kids can play it with a controller and not try and sell it to adults. EXTREMELY corny and a little gay honestly
Charming, wholesome, and edifying.
Perfect for kiddos.
This is so corny, I had no idea it was going to be this corny going into it.
Just so goddamn boring
Very cute game with a lovely story and it is also very informative.
Beautiful graphics and easy controls.
Beside going through the story, you can also finnish challenges and explore the world.
I really love playing this game!
10/10 very recommendable
Get Goo Goo Alu!
8/10 <3
[h3]We play as a bee, pollinate flowers, collect pollen, fight wasps and hornets, help our family and some other inhabitants.
Bee Simulator is a really good game where you really feel like being a bee... Explore the nature and flowers, collect some pollen, escape to biggers predators... It's well made and I recommend it!!! 💛🐝🖤
i stung everyone then got bored
.
ACHIEVEMENTS ARE BUGGY AF
"Every little piece of this game is just hopping over some roadblock that needs you to do some specific thing to make it to the next roadblock. Its a game about jumping through hoops. Super Man 64!" - Arin "Egoraptor" Hanson
10/10
It is a good game, pretty educational too. My kids enjoyed it a lot. It's a little short though, hope the developer could make some DLC stories. I also wish there are more things to interact with in the map.
i believe i can fly~
Money Worth Simulator
(got it for 84 penny)
Key features
- Bee facts during loading screens (+ more in-game),
- Moderate amount of various engaging activities,
[*]Rather tough combat episodes
Stay calm and keep bee-sy
Nice game. Paid less than £1 and honestly didn't expect much from it. Now I have 12hrs.
What to do? Lots of flying, obviously. Camera goes 360* and here you are, speeding up to collect pollen, moving rapidly from one flower to another. In between you're tasked to investigate different areas, fight off hostile animals and help friendly bees.

Quite filling extras
Main story is absurdly short. Luckily, we have challenges to complete.
Each area is a small section harbouring multiple side quests i.e. racing other insects, breaking out of cobwebs, stinging hornets, wasps and sometimes even attacking bully humans!
Other chores will test your memory and will ask to repeat exact moves. Certain missions will involve exploration and (hopefully) will motivate you to increase interaction with in-game environment. Yes, you can totally sting items, animals, suck on sweets and make kids cry! *evil satisfaction*

Oh, buzz off!
Earlier I mentioned tough combats... There are many occasions when you have to fight off wasps and hornets. Frequently it's a two-three enemies in a single challenge. Their individual health is twice of yours. Naturally, they hit harder and easily stun you. The fight is a real time blocks, dodges and attack, where you have to accumulate stamina to make a move. Took some time to gitgut in it, but still, initial encounters weren't pleasant.

An engaging and impactful game with a truly compelling story. While the narrative left a strong impression, I did feel that the experience was a bit short, especially at the original price of €20. However, I purchased it during a discount, and at that price, it definitely offered great value. The game is highly customizable, allowing for a personalized experience, and it remains consistently entertaining throughout. Overall, a solid choice for those looking for a short but enjoyable game at a lower cost.
5/5 star
I had really high hopes for the game, sadly it didn't fulfill them. I get that collecting pollen is done in a quick and not realistic at all way so that it's fun for the gameplay, but the world just doesn't feel alive at all. For example, people and animals barely move, if you approach them they don't react, and you can't pop balloons. Why??? There are so many little things that could be added to the game to make it feel more real, more alive. It's sad it seems it'll never happen since the last patch was in 2021.
(I've seen early access games that are more polished on world-building than this)
I'm giving it a positive review because of the 95% discount only, it clearly isn't worth the full price.
very good, fun and detailed game :)
The game it's like in the trailer even do i didn't expect it to be.It has open world so you can always explore,it also had side, main and unnecessarily quests, that are marked with different colors and you can do almost what you want,so I will normally recommend this and give it a 8/10.If you are passionate of this kind of games this one is worth a try.
If you suffer from any type of motion sickness do NOT get this game. It is such a shame but the game is just not playable. Make me throw up after 5 minutes of flying around.
there were game bugs that kept breaking the game which i did not expect and ruined my xp to the point after soem reloading and other bugsmakign me reload againand again i gave up
+it seems very basic and unrealistic once you play for more then 15 minutes.
The graphics are nice and i guess others will like it more then i did especially the younger generation
Can't recommend the game, as I (an several others, if you look at discussions, it also shows that it's an old problem that still isn't solved) can't access the game anymore, it worked fine sometime last year when I got it and played it. I've emailed the developer, which has also gone ignored.
Educational. Great for kids. My 5 year old cant stop playing it.
Fun and entertaining open world game about bees.
Full price? Not worth it. I don't think having bee information in a bee game justifies the sparse gameplay.
I got it for at 90% off, still considering refunding...
Not the worst game to introduce a child to video games I guess.
Fun, pretty, educational, and multiplayer! :D ♥ lovely game
It's a game about beeing a bee. Might be a cool concept, but it's rather simplistic in its execution. It features an open world, with very easy challenges and collectables, and the story isn't that noteworthy either. It's far from an S-tier game, but it's satisfying enough.
