LEGO® Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Overall, it is a really fun game. I like the new game aspects with different spells and a slightly more open world concept than 1-4. There are some bugs that make the game play a little difficult and frustrating. However, I still had a lot of fun playing this game.

After 100% the 1-4 lego version, i must say it was a better experience, this one just starts boring and somehow is laggy.

after 100%ing years 1-4 i was excited to start 5-7 but i cannot get past the struttering ive tried to search a fix but everyone is having same sort of issue i cant play its super distracting :(

Harry Potter constituted a significant part of my young life, as it did for so many of my "zillennial" generation, and playing this game as a kid represented another extension of my absolute obsession with this world. I was just one of so many other kids who grew up reading the books and watching the films, the latter of which were obviously not nearly as good as the former but were still fun enough to watch. Throwing everything I had into reading as fast and as thoroughly as possible, finishing The Order of the Phoenix in about four days for example, I found that I could easily place myself into Harry's shoes in his many adventures with Ron, Hermione, and the others at Hogwarts, and immersed myself in the story time and time again. Both Lego Harry Potter games were formative experiences for me in that regard, and I'll never forget the memories I made with them.

Excellent adaptation that improves upon 1-4 in a clever, ghostly way. The duels got a little tedious, but overall I had a great time and didn't mind replaying levels to get that 100% that I have never before gotten in a Lego game.

The way they took away the last game's progression was pretty cool. I also like that you have a different selection of spells in this sequel. Good game.

A fun game that is definitely best played with another.

I don't even know what to say about these games. They are so well made with beautiful graphics despite being a decade or more old. The story is so fun to play through and is great to revisit and start fresh.

its a lego game. its not perfect but there is a lot of charm and fun to be had

Why the hell do they need to port the collection to PC When the original 2 are on steam anyway? I am not buying these 2 games again. I understand why they made the collection, to let people play these games on modern consoles natively, but these games have been on steam for years at this point and both are verified on steam deck. Plus, i'm not really a fan of the harry potter franchise and it's games in general and i only got these 2 because i wanted them in my collection. Don't take this review the wrong way, though. I do not hate or dislike these games and HP In general. I don't mind if you buy the remastered version. These are still phenomenal games and they deserve to be recognised even by people who are not into the franchise or even just people who like LEGO Games in general like me.

If your a HP Fan or someone who just likes magic in general, go for it if you want. I'm not forcing anyone to buy this game or 1-4 for that matter. But if magic isn't your cuppa (like me), then i would personally skip this one. Remember, it's your choice if you want to buy it or not regardless of if you like magic or not. You might even enjoy this and 1-4 even if you don't like HP Or magic.

I'm not stopping anyone who doesn't like magic or HP from buying this game.

Shortened version: A phenomenal game but the whole magic shtick just isn't my cuppa.

This was really good. The game is rather old, but still plays well for the most part. Some of the cut scenes are a little buggy with a temporary drop in frame rate. No achievements unfortunately. This and years 1-4 are great for those that enjoy the Lego games.

gameplay and story great, awsome graphics I run this game with avrage 2500 fps with mid to high end pc

stutters and drops to 30 fps. dont waste your money on this piece of s**t

Nostalgic but the keybind in keyboard so hard I better suggest to u guys use controller.

Spend 28 hours on it so I would say it´s pretty good. It does bug sometimes though but they are hillarious, seeing Dobby just slide around on the ground destroying everything he touches is one highlight of the bug!
