Certainly,my ability is limited, I hope you guys can support me, and you can leave valuable suggestions in the discussion area.
The operation of the game is the traditional VR operation mode, the side button means grab the item, the trigger button to use the object, the touch pad moves for a short distance; The game
also can adjust the room size and support the standing mode.
Key Of Impasse is not a game with a long game duration. The original purpose of making this game is to provide offline experience with VR. Therefore, the decryption time of the game has a limit of 30 minutes. However, personally, a 30-minute experience is not enough to complete all decryption, maybe you need a second, third or more ; The game also provides a random password function, which is the player's password and even the placement of items in the secret room after the player re-enters the game. It will be different from the previous game.
The mission key uses a more realistic environment, including art processing at each location, physical property settings, etc., almost every object you see can be crawled and interacted, and the player can even open the sofa very laboriously and pushed it to the shelf.

A nice and pretty well-made 30 minute escape room. Clunky controls, but enjoyable. Took me a couple of tries to beat.
Interesting puzzle game but its too short and the controls are very primitive like you can not even turn properly. Visuals and sound are ok. Overall 6.9/10.
Played on Index, literally finished with 43 seconds to spare. Most of it was pretty much a "square goes in square hole" kind of simplicity, but there was at least one realization that made me feel smart - which is the fun part of an escape room.
Some odd design choices, and there's sexualized imagery plastered everywhere - which is annoying. But otherwise, I had fun.
Highly recommended. I played two time to pass through. It is the most interesting VR Room Escape game I have even played. The puzzle is logical and not trivial. You need to think. And some of the puzzle change everytime such that you cannot memorize. Thanks for the developer to develop such a good game.
Really enjoyable 30mins, especially for the price. A little janky but a fun, quick escape room
reaaally good game, 30 min worth, wish they did other escapre rooms, recommended for the price.
Yeah, I'd recommend this. It's a bit of a first attempt, but decent. Worth helping out a developer. $3 for 30 minutes, and something you can have your friends attempt later, and not take up the whole night. Once in a while a short escape is nice. It took me 16 minutes to finish.
The controls are a bit off. It does need some tooling. The basic hand position is rotated like you are saying "don't shoot me". You have to grab at things a few time, to get them to grab, but if you read the simple instructions, you can do everything. I con't understand why people have an issue with not knowing how to turn on a flashlight. It says "Grip stuff with your grip section of your controller (4 fingers), and use with the trigger".
You can tell it was an independent attempt, since there are several books that have the same textures of known books (not sure if this is copywrite legal), and lots of pin-up girls (not for young kids), I'm guessing to set a mood.
For someone using all assets from the Unity shop, it's a good attempt.
For me, the puzzles were a bit too straight forward, but that is needed when you have a 30 minute limit. It really didn't take much thought to figure things out if you just stayed calm.
There are 4 keys you need to find, so there are 4 sets of puzzles.
About as difficult a ABODE 1, but a lot shorter.
So, basically, if you were to take 4 random tasks from ABODE 1, you'd have this game, but a bit darker.
If you feel that is worth the $3, then buy this.
A short game but still very fun. Not that much replayability if you don't want to get the achievements. A fair representation of what VR is capable of.
It's a shorter-than-average escape room experience with a half hour timer. There are a handful of puzzles of different types. It's nothing mind-blowing but it's pretty solid and it's also pretty cheap. The physics feels a little clunky and I personally could do without the amount of images of scantily clad pin-ups. I'm sure that last point will be considered a plus for some and to be fair, it does add to the general sense of grubbiness that the game is going for. There are a lot of VR escape room games on Steam and while it's certainly far from being the best in the genre, it's also far from being the worst. If you are a genre fan then you're probably not going to regret this purchase.
Who cares about the Nudity people? In iceland, nudity is normal, it won't screw up your child, come on. Violence is worse.
As for the game, it's 30 minutes unless you re-do it for the achievements. It's actually quite fun, but the controls are frustrating. It can be done in a small room if you can manage the space.
I liked the game, up the resolution with stream and it looks better, puzzles are good, shame there wasn't more rooms for this game, still a good game though, played on Rift s with no problems. Ryzen 7 3800X, 5700XT, Windows 10 64.
I used valve index and grabbing items was odd, What I mean by that when I went to pick items up it would fling them across the room. Overall its a fun game and extremely good for the price
Cheaper than a small bar of chocolate especially if on special. Was worth the money as the main game and most achievements were challenging enough to be fun but not so challenging as to be frustrating. Gratuitous art on the walls makes it a game not to play in front of or with small kids though
The sofa lifting achievement was probably the part that took me the longest.
Graphics are pretty good. Really difficult to interact with objects, takes away from being immersed in the experience. spent a good couple of minutes trying to keep a door open to look at the map on the inside. Need to add a turning mechanic.
Was really enjoying the puzzle aspect, but movement made it too frustrating. Liked the bit of live acting.
attempted playing on my WMR, and my Oculus Quest sideloaded. worked the same on both.
Didn't pay much for the game, holding on to it in hopes these issues will be resolved.
saying won't recommend until small issues fixed.
A simple escape room for a low price! Took me 15 minutes to beat, and I've played a lot of escape rooms. Not especially challenging. All of the physics worked, although some things took a few times to grasp properly.
The sound loop is a little repetitive, and there is an excessive amount of pin-up art on the walls
However, it was neat and its probably worth $1-$2

Nice little escape room game. At time of writing the game costs $2.00 at full price and I picked it up on sale for $0.50 and at those prices I can definitely recommend it.
There is a 30 minute timer, and it took me two tries to beat it, about 40 minutes in total. First time I got stuck on the circuit board puzzle. If not for that, it probably would've taken me 20-25 minutes.
One thing I appreciated was that some items moved and codes changed the 2nd time through, so you couldn't immediately run to the safes and enter the codes you remembered. It wasn't a drastic change, but a neat little touch.
There are a couple annoyances. The game is short enough and cheap enough that I personally give it a pass, but YMMV:
- Only teleport. No analog movement. I'd at least like turning so I don't get tangled in my cable.
[*]Picking up items doesn't always work smoothly.
+ For .49 It's a great price for content
+ Fun little escape room
+ Good for those just learning how to Escape an escape room.
+/- English Translation is so/so
- EXTREMELY easy. - It almost holds your hand it's so easy.
- Probably an average of 10-15 minutes to solve it
- Ending is Sort of 'Cliche'
- Picking up things is glitchy and often makes you drop whatever you're holding for no reason.
3.5/5
This would definitely be a neutral/informative if I could give it that, however due to it being so cheap right now (at $.49) I can't not recommend it. For that price, you get what you pay for. A pretty cheaply made feeling, quick, easy escape room. But as escape rooms go, there are more expensive ones that offer the same content.

An escape-the-room game with a shorter time limit than usual (30 minutes.) I feel bad for the developer because it's obvious they had some big plans and they weren't picked up like they planned on. I guess we'll never know.
Unfortunately I can't recommend the game except for under $1 for the "why not" factor. Here are some of the issues I encountered:
- Grabbing is inconsistent; I was extremely likely to slam a cabinet shut on my hands while trying to retrieve the item inside it. I also apparently could fling things across the room while trying to grab them. It would be impressive if it wasn't so annoying.
- Having to hold down the grips to hold something, whether it's a flashlight or a key or a card. It makes your hands hurt very quickly. Make gripping a toggle.
- There appears to be an achievement related to the couch. I was unable to get this achievement because the couch refuses to move even the slightest amount, even when applying the crowbar or pushing or pulling. I began to wonder if the missing item or items I was looking for were under the couch. I tried looking behind and under but didn't see anything.
- What's with the pin-ups everywhere? On the wall, on the books, on the TVs - I get a lot of Escape The Room type games to introduce people (young and old) into VR and this definitely wouldn't be my first choice because of this.
I'm no newcomer to escape room games and while some of the puzzles were well done (I can see the fuse one being confusing for some people) I only got stuck when I opened a safe and found a UV flashlight and a weird screwdriver. This, combined with the gear in the wall that I couldn't get to turn, was where I got stuck. I'm assuming I was supposed to get that gear to turn and open the metal roll-up door and use the weird screwdriver/UV flashlight there but I found nothing like a crank anywhere, no switches, etc. I've gone through 5 playthroughs and that's always where I end up. I can't go through more than 1-2 at a time, though, because of the hand-cramping issue from holding the flashlight to every tiny nook and cranny. And the frustration of trying to grab something for 30 seconds and watching it skitter across the floor. I'd love to find a walkthrough and see what I'm missing.
I've been in some (real life) escape rooms where they set it up incorrectly and it was impossible to complete. This feels like one of those times. It's not a good feeling.
I really like the concept of VR Escape Rooms. I've considered attempting to create one myself using unity, but it still feels daunting.
For the price, and the style of puzzles, this was very enjoyable.
andrej.chudoba 's review was spot on with pro's + con's.
I'd also add, i'd like it to be less "dark". Seems to be a theme with indie VR escape rooms.
Keep up the good work!
Cool game but please add a toggle grip function. I found my hands burning from trying to constantly hold the flash light.

I bought this game on the Steam Winter Sale 2018 for $2.79 USD. I think this game is worth that much, but I'm not sure it's worth the $6.99 USD retail price given the amount and quality of the content. However, this escape room is higher quality than most escape rooms.
Not only is there voice acting (although not very good voice acting), but there's video cut scenes on the virtual televisions. This escape room is highly detailed and actually feels like it could be a real room somewhere in the world. You can grab almost any item and move it wherever you want. A few items even have a particular use in solving the puzzles. There's some randomness in the escape room each time you try (although the core logic is the same).
Locomotion is by teleportation and there is no turning (except IRL). You have a timer for 30 minutes to finish the puzzle. I only got 2 of the 4 keys you're supposed to get. I'm stumped at the moment, but after reading the store page achievements I do know of at least one thing I needed to do turn over the sofa .
The graphics look very good. The game runs smoothly. There is a physics to objects and it works most of the time, but not all the time. Doors seemed to swing a little too much on opened cabinets/ lockers. I did have a little bit of trouble grabbing items as they didn't seem to grab where you'd expect, but it's just a matter of inches really so no big deal.
I do recommend a room-scale setup because you will be looking all around, below and behind you. You may even have to crawl. Fortunately, inputting codes is easy because you get little lasers once you put your hands near the lock input. This is one of the better escape rooms in VR, just don't expect a AAA title quality.
Sale Price Rating 7/10.
