I have no idea what's different here, but Romancing the Stones is no longer possible. You can't "Eat away" the infotron on the tricky part anymore, not without dying to the zonk above. That was the only way to beat that level and now it is impossible.
At the moment I am NEUTRAL to this game! At any rate, you should try first "Supraplex classics" (for at least two hours!)
Main problems: 1) The controller does not work perfect, but this is required. 2) You can save at any rime, however, in some really critical situation each game of this series makes an autosave that often spoils everything. (This happens also on the Switch.) Thus, from my point of view, one wastes a lot of time and get really pissed. No fun, no relaxation and no satisfaction.
Sadly I have buyed the whole bundle.
Conclusion: TRY FIRST JUST "Supraplex classic" and if you are pissed than skip some levels. This should be worth the spent money and then you can decide whether ...
By the way, without these "flaws" (or with the option of switching it off) this would be one of the best games and many different players would enjoy it very much indeed.
This game has many levels which already exist in original game, therefore the price tag seems a bit high.
Good puzzles that are more about dexterity, as the name says. But there is speed setting so it's fine. There are a few levels that are a bit difficult but good enough to make you think.
Overall, a pretty fun pack with a rather misleading description.
I wouldn't say that focus here is on running or being super fast (not that it was a major purchasing factor anyway).
Obviously, there are a few levels where you've got to go into Road Runner mode but there's a lot of satisfying stuff for slow, analytical thinkers as well, so gamers with stiff fingers will most likely still enjoy this.
PROS:
- Some very satisfying levels like "Honeycomb" or "R U Tough?" - those two alone are a good reason to try this pack, they're pretty tough but in a cool way.
CONS:
- Every game has a few annoying moments and in case of this one, it's the levels where you must heavily rely on "glitches" (or whatever you call it). Fortunately, there are only a few ones designed this way, but still, pretty annoying.
- Perhaps a bit too many silly and short fillers.
While this might not be the best game for someone not very familiar with Supaplex, it's definitely a decent addition for those left craving for more after the original one. :)
Not sure if this game was meant to be a cash grab but it's most likely only worth it on sale. There are 60 levels only and some of them were taken straight from the original level set, so if you've played that you'll have to complete some of the same levels a second time. The other levels are decent though, ranging from infernally difficult to a walk in the park, and with a 70% discount on sale it's not a bad deal.
I played a few days under the RADIO-HYPNOSIS of the psychologist, that is the indirect killer with his job on the radio-station; I have my old mother that need to get sleep earlier but the radio-station has the radio-hypnosis that has no moral code of the secret service agent behavior, and that is shortening the human life. There is no actually mental problem - it is the ABUSE of the psychological job, that is the kind of the Human Trafficking that the continue for the 20 years by the "green card checker" and after that the background checking during 2009-2021 years. Actually, the GAME is using for the remote access for the personal computer and making the slave of the Russian language trafficking assault.
If somebody want that their life would be screwed by the radio-hypnosis and harass with the game obsession instead of making money and studying in the university, he might spending even a $3 for, but I would not recommend it even for my enemies, the such torture of the whole day as like in the virtual jail of the radio-hypnosis cloud.
Good continuation. You need to use game exploits in some cases but I consider them as part of the game.
I really love the original version. This one? Not at all.
The problem with this game, is that Supaplex has always asked you to THINK. Well, in this game, you often have to follow long routes without stopping, because the slightest stop, or even a single step outside the required path, will often lead to failure. In other words, stop and think isn't always an option. Which means you repeat the same speed runs over and over again, until you get it perfect.
Go for remake of the classic Supaplex, have a lot of fun with that one, and simply ignore Supaplex GO.
