The game currently has six main worlds, with more to come in the future. Each one with their own unique theme and level design. In total the game currently features 100+ levels of varying difficulty.
The levels are broken down as follows:
- 65 Basic Levels. Between 15 and 10 per world. These are unlocked from the start. Most players should be capable of completing these.
- Each basic level also has a Collectible as an extra challenge. Collecting all of these in a specific world unlocks that worlds Collect Level.
- 6 Collect Levels.
- 6 Timer Levels
- 6 Challenge Levels
- 10 Secret Levels
- Each Level in the game also has time medals (bronze, silver, gold) to beat. There's separate medals both for completing the level normally and finding the collectible. Getting each normal gold medal in a world unlocks that worlds Timer Level. Getting each collectible gold medal in a world unlocks that worlds challenge Level.
- Leaderboards and extensive stats are also available for each level.

30 minutes into it and it's amazing. My 5 year old son and I were looking for alternatives to Hamsterball on PS3 since the console got rekt.
Thanks for this my good sir 11/10
I have played A LOT of Monkey Ball a decade ago and every now and they I buy a marble game and hope it will give me some Monkey Ball feeling. Sadly, even if those games were okay in ther own rights, this never happened.
"One More Roll" is the first game which does actually feel like a Monkey Ball game, the kind of map design and the gameplay itself. I really like it! I may update my review if I am farther into the game and get new impressions.
This game is fantastic! My friends and I get together weekly, we play monkey ball, it's a frustrating time, lot's of laughs. Now we have One More Roll, I can't wait to see what is till to come with this game. A+
Exactly what I want from a good roller game:
No Powerups and no dedicated jump button.
Here you have to rely on your pure rolling skill to succeed.
So basically like Super Monkey Ball, but still with some own touches to build an own personality. E.g. there is a world, where the gravity shifts based on the surface you are on or in the snow world your ball actually collects snow and grows bigger.
These ideas make for some interesting gameplay.
So if you think you maybe could even be remotely interested in this game, go play it, you'll be having a blast, I guarantee it.
Really addicting marble speedgame. If you enjoy grinding out Individual Levels and finding the fastest, nuttiest way to complete a level, I would definitely recommend this as a game to pick up. Also if you like Super Monkey Ball.
A new game with an old-school Super Monkey Ball feel to it. It does have some issues with it in its current state, such as a fairly harsh difficulty spike and keyboard controls sometimes feeling slightly clunky, but as far as a game newly in early access goes it runs, feels, and play pretty well! If your looking for the next Monkey Ball, that is fully polished, thousand of levels, and a bug free experience, maybe this isnt for you just yet. However, as a casual game that can also cater to a lively speedrunning community of marble enthusiests, as well as time trials for leaderboard hounds, its does its job as a spiritual successer to the SMB's and Marble Runs of the past. Given some time, it can become a solid game with dev support for years do come.
Absolutely garbage.
I saw a post on reddit about this game so I thought I'd check it out. In my whole life I have never felt more insulted as a customer, and this is coming from a guy who bought Fallout 76.
The physics are seemingly random, the controls are voluntarily shitty and the camera is nauseating.
If you want a hard game, go play Dark Souls, it's a much better use of your money and time.
If you want an unfair game that has zero effort put into it, go play Cat Mario, it's free and unlike this game it does not make me *literally* vomit after half an hour of gameplay.
Solid game with a very noticeable influence from the Super Monkey Ball series - that is, tight physics with a lot of air maneuverability, making it an excellent game to speedrun, and a satisfying game to play through casually as well.
This review reflects the current version of the game at the time of writing, which is early access verson 0.52.2, and therefore may not accurately reflect future updates. I may update this review in the future when I feel necessary.
The Good:
- It's hard, but the difficulty curve is fairly consistent. If you play the levels in order (which is not a requirement, though some levels require certain conditions to be met to be unlocked), you will get a feel for the physics making the harder levels a lot less daunting.
- The controls feel tight and responsive, and very predictable (except on the ice levels, which are, understandably, very slippery). This is probably the most important factor which separates good and bad ball rolling games, and one which most get wrong.
- For the most part, really fun level design with only a few exceptions - most of which are bonus or secret levels and can largely be overlooked if you're not much of a fan of them anyway.
- Plenty of bonus levels, most of which are typically much harder than the standard fare, adding a lot of extra play time for the experienced player.
- Graphically it's not going to set your 1080 Ti on fire, but it's visually quite pretty, with some decent background music which is nice enough to listen to for extended periods (which will be necessary when you're grinding out those WRs).
Needs Improving:
- UI is a little dull and utilitarian (lots of text and flat square buttons). Looks a little like a prototype as a result, but on the plus side is fit for purpose, and I appreciate that it can be entirely navigated with a controller.
- Needless to say because yes, it's early access, but there are a couple bugs here and there - but nothing game-breaking, and the developer is very quick to patch these when brought up over Discord.
[*]Some of the gold time requirements are very tight and require extremely optimal play to achieve. Generally I wouldn't see this as a problem if it weren't for the fact that achieving gold times is a requirement for some of the bonus levels, so some of them should probably be toned down a little.
Overall, already an excellent game in its current state with plenty left to deliver. The developer releases regular content updates and patches too, so there's a lot to look forward to. I was a little sceptical at first given how easy it is to get a game like this wrong - even more so given that it's in a relatively early stage of its lifecycle - but it delivers in every important aspect, and I'd have no trouble recommending this to people who like this kind of game without needing to wait for a finished product.
If you're a fan of the old Super Monkey Ball games, you'll probably love this game. If you're a fan of the newer Super Monkey Ball games, definitely play this because those are shit
I love the game so far, There are already many levels with each one feeling unique and fitting to its world. On top of this the Dev is very active as of now, having sarted a discord to discuss the game and bugs, releasing updates often. Very fun and worth the price I'd say.
Think it's about time I left a review, since I'm pretty much done with the game until new levels come.
Where to begin here... This is a very fun and relaxing game (as well as addicting ngl)! Very reminiscent of Super Monkey Ball!
For the most part, I love the level designs! Some I couldn't really get into at first, but after speedrunning them I found a new love for them! ...though there are SOME levels I still hate with a passion... mainly from world 2 (more or less every level here because there's too many maze levels and ice physics are really annoying in this, ngl) and world 4 (a good 4 or 5 levels here felt like a dumb difficulty spike in my side tbh, so just skipped them due to frustration). I also skipped a lot of hats (the collectibles of the game) (skipped some due to frustration and how hard they can be, and skipped some others due to me not liking the level even normally. I can't see myself liking the extra levels anyway, since I didn't for world 1).
The soundtrack at the moment isn't the best, but is still quite decent and there's definitely a couple of catchy tunes in there (worlds 3-5 are the best ones imo). Hopefully the OST will be improved in the future also! :3
Regardless though, can't wait for more to be added! This game has massive potential!
If you're a fan of Super Monkey Ball, or marble games in general, this game is essential to have in your collection! Totally recommended!

I've been really enjoying this game so far. Whether you're a casual player or someone who wants to try some crazy strategies by bouncing into things and getting nifty jumps towards the goal, this game has something for everyone.
It has a bunch of unique mechanics that make an appearance from world to world, and has some lovely graphics and music to go along with it.
MORE MAPS PLEASE
Very fun game, i see myself go back to this when bored, but i slammed my keyboard a few times in rage
Would highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a new, interesting rolling platformer. The game caters to both casual gameplay and competitive gameplay with its online leaderboards. For $10 you get access to over 60 base game levels, all of which have additional secrets to be found. You also have access to 10 secret levels which can be unlocked on specific regular levels. The controls took me a little while to get used to since historically i have only ever really played rolling games with 360 cam control, but once i did get used to them (which didn't take me long), they felt very tight.
I'm enjoying the game!
Fun concept, I like the hats, it's funny to have a hat on the ball when you collect one.
I found myself saying to myself ah just one more try, then I thought One More Roll is a pretty good name!
I would recommend it, real fun, although bit challenging! Looking forward to updates!
10/10 Well designed levels and having great fun grinding low times for the leaderboards!
This is a great game especially for the price. It's basically Super Monkey Ball but with new maps and new elements and no monkey. The levels are acceptably difficult and very fun to get used to the different mechanics. Some of the accessories are wonky because this is Early Access but the main part of the game is still great and complete.
Love the Super Monkey Ball feel to it. I think this game has a fantastic core to it (structure, design, and size/length) but I would love to see maybe a little more polish. I would like it to be easier to see what levels I have / haven't gotten gold on, or the hat on. I may be wrong but I can only find a page that tells me "#/10" instead of by level its by world. Other than that I think its a great game and I feel the desire to better my time on every level and I plan on playing through the entire game.
I went into this thinking, oh it looks a lot like monkey ball, which is good because we don't have Monkey Ball on PC. In terms of controls, it controls just like Monkey Ball. The controls are probably the most important part. And so far it's fantastic. BUT, you know what else is important? Level design.
UPDATE
The levels that I had problems with have been updated and adjusted. Their difficulty now feels in line with the rest of the levels within the same worlds. The sections labeled (OLD) are no longer valid.
PART 1 (OLD)
For the most part the first 3 worlds in the game are well designed, theres a bit of difficulty added with each new level. I was able to complete them in about 15 to 20 mins each. THEN, World 4 comes along, and it's a little more difficult for the first half, some new mechanics are added and its a nice challenge. But out of the blue 4-7 is like "OH! YOU LIKE A CHALLENGE!?" and it curb stomps you, over, and over, and over again until you wanna throw your controller through the monitor. You wanna give up, but you think, "I wont give up, I HAVE TO DO THIS!!" and 80 deaths later..you finally do it, FINALLY, the torture is over, and it is, for 2 whole levels, before 4-10 comes in and seeks revenge for defeating 4-7. And then it beats the living crap out of you 50+ more deaths until your at the last breath of life and somehow miraculously you've done it, you beat it somehow. And world 4 is no more. It was at this time I put the game down for I had spent over an hour for 10 levels most of that time on 4-7 and 4-10. Im terrified of world 5. I'll update this with a part 2 when I finish World 5 if world 5 turns out to be as hard as 4.
Part 2(OLD)
I finished World 5 for the most part. The mechanics used in it are pretty good....except 5-6, i had to skip 5-6 after 100 deaths. it was the only level that I wanted to throw my controller through the monitor due to BS. There is some questionable level design in some levels where it looks like obstacles were only there to piss off the player. They didnt add anything to the level. One of the things that made monkey ball great was that the levels were focused and unique, there was nothing added that didnt need to be added like a bumper in front of the finish line for no reason other than make the level artificially difficult. These kinds of additions should not be in the main levels. I could see them added as part of an alternate difficulty. So maybe have the vanilla levels without bs, and then have an expert version of the level with the added bumpers. Not only could it add to the game more levels without having to completely redesign them, but it would also allow more casual players to enjoy the game as well.
TL:DR
Overall, the concept and the controls are fantastic. The game is in EA so I can't fault the game for too much. I am enjoying the game, so I do recommend it to anyone who wants a challenge or enjoys the Monkey Ball series. With some polish, this game could be the Monkey Ball game we never got.
This is a great game, I really enjoyed playing it! The controls are really satisfying and the mechanics are really cool. The difficulty curve for most of the levels is good, however some of the levels in worlds 3 and 4 are way too difficult. I got to the finale level in world 4 and couldn't finish it because it was too hard.
Suggestions:
• Make the later levels a little easier (Maybe keep the hard levels but add them in as bonus levels?)
• Remove minimap. It is pretty much pointless and I never used it.
• The camera was pretty good most of the time, but it gets weird when you slow down. Maybe add the ability to control the camera so you can look at where you want to go?
Other than those things this game is really fun and a good purchase! My favorite mechanic is the rainbow boost. I like to go fast :D
Just beat world 1! So far i'm loving the mechanics and the difficulty curve is perfect. I can tell the controls are meant for a controller but one thing I'd ask for is the ability to use WASD on the main menu for changing worlds! I'll update my review after I beat the game!
