A game that I know the creator (on Steam) and deserves my support.
The objective in Rampage of the Dead is to complete infinite waves against Zombies. It's a first person shooter, with a very clear challenge: will you be able to outdo yourself, in each wave of enemies? During the first 2 waves, the enemies are simple and you will have time to earn points for each zombie and more points for each headshot. Use these points to buy new weapons, scattered all over the map. From wave 3 onwards, things get more complicated as the runners appear and won't stop following you. If they hit you 3 times you are dead. Search the map, there are power-ups and health kits. Keep killing and be prepared for new waves and increasingly difficult enemies!
It's clear that this is a simple game, but it has a well designed formula, its difficulty is progressive and that makes it challenging and fun. I haven't managed to finish it, but I feel I can do it. It was created by one person and my opinion is that the graphics are good, the maps have a correct size. The weapons are well animated and their FX sound very good. The music is correct and changes according to the situation. It works perfectly at 1080p 60fps. And for less powerful computers, it has a lot of settings, vsync, anti-aliasing, texture filtering, ambient occlusion, motion blur, etc... It plays perfect with keyboard and mouse.
In my opinion, it's a very fun game, with an arcade component and infinite gameplay. I will never be able to create a videogame like this, so it deserves all my respect. For my friend, thank you Boltok.
A very entertaining indie game that performs very well.
I recommend this game because it seemed well made to me. In Rampage of the Dead, it's about killing zombies that appear in different rounds. You have to kill zombies to earn points and be able to buy new weapons or health points. Then things get complicated after round 3... when the runners appear and they are going to give you more than one scare. Although it is a simple game, it has good mechanics and is very replayable. I have dedicated 6 hours to it and I have not been able to finish it. It shows that the creator has designed the formula well.
The controls are very correct for a PC with mouse and mouse... the game has many graphical configurations so any old computer will run it perfectly. The FX sounds are very successful, especially the sounds of gun shots and reloads are very nice.
It is undoubtedly an indie game but well made and the price is very reasonable. 100% recommended.

Rampage of the Dead is a first person shooter game where you have to kill zombies in infinite waves that are increasingly difficult to win. The first zombies are funny and clumsy, but don't be fooled, after wave 3, things get complicated and the first runners appear, 3 hits and you're dead. Above all, shoot them in the head and they will give you more points!
The formula of this game, I really liked it for making the player feel that you can beat yourself. I've spent all day playing it and I've been getting better at it every game. I feel that with time I can get to 10 waves and probably 20 as well. It has very good graphics, the weapons are well created, it plays perfect with keyboard and mouse. For less powerful computers, it has a lot of settings, vsync, antialiasing, texture filtering, environmental occlusion, motion blur... works perfectly at 1080p 60fps. The sounds of the weapons, sound very good, the FX of the Zombies are really great. The music is correct and changes depending on the amount of zombies that attack you.

fun fast game
I liked this game a lot. It's exactly what it looks like a small game with only 2 maps where you run around, buy guns, & shoot zombies. That's all I wanted to do when I bought the game & that exactly all what the game is, so for a buck I consider that a good deal.
Actually not that bad for about half a buck in a sale.
I can't really rate this as good or bad, and I wish there was a neutral option, but for now I'll leave it as thumbs up bc I hope the developer keeps working on it. it's an earl access game that shows promies, and it's pretty reasonably priced, all things considered. there is a problem with zombies gettig stuck (Only on the desert map, they seem to be stuck in some sort of falling animation) but other than that it's pretty solid, all things considered. It just needs improvements.
Honestly, I bought the game, hoping it would be a decent game. I didn't expect it to be AAA and I was fine with that. The game is unplayable because of how boring it is. Aiming down sights with the starting pistol looks like it should break your nose. Zombies get stuck on stuff so you have to walk around the map to kill them (this happened 3+ times each game). This delays each round by 10-15 minutes and sometimes you can NOT find the zombies for some reason.
Pistols and other guns also make you wait for the vertical and horizontal recoil to center back on the screen before firing, yet the guns are super innacurate. Also, you will be running around executing zombies swiftly with an assault riffle within a couple rounds, so you will be able to see how all the delays in the game make it horrible.
The graphics are horrible and the lighting on the maps make it hard to see the details on the guns, which makes you think they might look cool, but if you stand near light, you will see they are horrible. I don't know why the developers did not work on this games graphics hard enough. There are tons of indie games by 1-2 people with small budgets that look literally 2X better or more.

Who Will Like It : Fans of wave based shooters and Call of Duty Zombies.
Who Won't Like It : Those looking for unique environments, enemies, or story.
Rampage of the Dead is about as generic as a zombie-based wave survival game can get, however, it is being made by a developer that appreciates constructive feedback and plans to balance and tweak the game with subsequent updates in the near future. There are currently two levels, a handful of weapons, and one mode. The difficulty scaling is fairly unbalanced, with enemies that hit way too hard (40% damage per hit) and health pickups that spawn far too rarely. Both of these issues have been noted by the developer though, and he is working on making adjustments to each.
Weapons are plentiful and pack a nice, bass-heavy and meaty punch, and each level has mounted turrets and electrified barriers to aid in your survival. Weapons are purchased using points and can be found on the walls throughout the level, very similar to the Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies mode. The sound effects and music are solid too, making some of the generic gameplay much more enjoyable.
As a whole package, Rampage of the Dead isn't entirely brilliant or unique, but for $4.99, you could definitely do worse, and difficulty scaling issues aside, the game is completely playable and functional. There are definitely some pacing, balance, and difficulty issues that are being addressed, but in its current state, it’s not a bad game by any means.
