Love this game the one thing I wish it had was online multiplayer, while steam online local play does work it would be great to have it implemented in the game so it would be a bit smoother than it is online currently.

It is the best local multiplayer i've played so far, and i'm a big fan of the genre. I think this game deserves much more atention. The animation is flawless, the fxs are from other world, the dynamics of the matches and how you can play in the ranking screen and kill your friends there just adds all the fun. The weapons and power-ups add great value to the game. I'm glad i can easily configure which ones i want to play with and the kind of match. Overall an indie hidden masterpiece.

Super slick and fine-tuned couch brawler, with a superb style, amazing animations and a great core mechanic. The training missions are almost a game on itself, like a Mark of the Ninja on steroids. Thumbs up!
Edit: More than seven months into the early access and I can tell that a lot of work has been put into the game: more characters, weapons, arenas, training missions and more polish when when it didn't seem it could be polished any more.
Edited again for the 2020 game awards. The game still holds up.
Awesome game, from the first time my friends and I played it's become a staple of our game nights.
It's super fast, the weapons are cool and the character designs are amazing. I really reccommend it if your looking for a party game to play with friends
This game checks all the boxes, it is fun, looks amazing, and has a lot of replay value.
The transition from light to dark shadows allows for this amazing feeling of being a ninja in the shadows hunting down your other opponents. When you find that perfect time where you see them expose their position and you pop out and take the shot has such a unique great feel.
I can't say enough about how this game looks, I have always been a huge fan of this minimalist comic book art style and they hit it right on in this game. From the color pallets being a perfect muted set of colors to the explosion of high contrast colors during events this is a thrill to even view.
This has become a top shelf game in our home and on your youtube channel and I look forward to all the things this game has to offer as it gets developed in the future.
What an awesome game!
Very unique concept, I actually enjoyed using the shadows to hide and attack my enemies. takes 2-3 minutes to get used to it then you really appreciate it. Makes the game much more fun especially when playing with friends, you get laughs and surprises when you get them unexpectedly.
The smooth and fluid animation coupled with the great aesthetics and design makes the gameplay top notch....I'm happy to see the return of games focusing on an enjoyable gaming experience first of all.
I'm gifting the game to a friend as well, so he can play it with his gf, that's how much I enjoyed it!
Oh one more thing, the music is a very nice touch, very well fitting!
Shadow Brawlers is the best game of its genre out in the market. I feel like a super fast angry and sweet little urban ninja when I play it with my friends. By the way, I always win (?).
Amazing animations and visuals, super tight fight mechanics, awesome music and sound, and my god the programming is good in this game. What more do you want? Its the perfect game to share with your friends over a beer. Seriously, this game allows some super fun situations. Super recommended.

I played this game at PAC East 2019 and loved it.
A fast-paced stealth-based couch co-op game that gets everyone excited and shouting in a good way.
Adorable design and great aesthetics, including changeable palettes for the whole game.
The pick-up weapons add a lot of variety to keep you surprised and on your toes mid-match.
I am in love with this game . Its stealth mechanic makes this game unique but everything else is also great and runs smoothly. It is easy to pick up but has a huge depth and mastery. On top of this the visuals are simple to prioritize gameplay but it still colorful fun and visually appealing.
