Hard game. Yes it has a few bugs but it is also an indie game and not perfect. Yes he did use Virtus assests for the Virtus horror game tutorial but Virtus put the assests out there for all to have.So people need to back off. Good job , but see about fixing the bugs.

I've been reviewing indie games on my YT channel for about five years now. Almost 400 video reviews.. and when I think I've seen the worst of the worst and the biggest scam or ripoff ever, something like THIS atrocity then gets uploaded onto Steam.

I guess the scam artist and corrupt developer wanted or hoped to make his $100 Steam fee back by selling this piece of trash by only needing four idiots who wouldn't bother refunding it... it's the only logical explanation.

Why do I call him a scam artist and corrupt developer? Well, not only for uploading complete trash and asking a $35 USD price tag for what is by far the biggest joke and rip off I've ever seen to date now.. but also for basically just STEALING alll the content and game created in Virtus's 51 video series " Creating a Survival Horror in Unreal 4" that can be found HERE:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJJn9igmznc&list=PLL0cLF8gjBpqGJwEe5XL5mSL8UvwwVMKu

I haven't watched enough of the series to know if "everything" was stolen, but I can clearly see a 100% stolen UI, 100% stolen "power", "food", and "flashlight" systems from that tutorial.

The tutorial series was made to help people LEARN the Unreal4 engine and HOW to make their own game. It wasn't made to be completely ripped off, have the assets provided by Virtus STOLEN, packaged up in an EXE and then sold on Steam here for $34.99!!

Also.. DO NOT believe the trailer. There are ZERO settings or options to turn up the brightness in this game, and the entire game is darker than dark as you can see in my gameplay recording below and you have a crappy flashlight light that expires way too quickly with no batteries to be found. Actually however, complete darkness might provide a better experience than actually seeing the terrible textures, texture tearing due to lazy and rushed lining up of assets in the game and other such crap.

The one review on this game by Rina Sav is written in Russian, but when translated nails this game spot on trashing it for looking like it was made from an Unreal tutorial somewhere. NAILED IT! (even though they didn't know what exact tutorial this was ripped off from as I've provided above now). They also ripped the developer and game for being of very low quality and a poor gaming experience, and again they were absolutely correct. This is a terrible game and experience for sure and can be witnessed first hand in my short gameplay video HERE:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3vnXRZWpjw&feature=youtu.be

This developer, as so many vile and shady developers have done a thousand times before here on Steam then proceeds to blame that first negative review on the user "not having a good enough PC to play their epic game" in his "developer response" to the review. Unreal. .and no.. not Unreal as in the engine used to make this game, but "unreal" as in the nerve of this developer to actually blame his stolen tutorial incomplete game not being a good gaming experience on the users PC and telling them they "need to upgrade their computer"

..And that is why this "Alexander Casha" just might win "worst developer of 2018" in my eyes on Steam here.

------------------------------------

Let's go over some things good indie developers don't and shouldn't do if they want to earn any amount of respect from a gaming community:

1) Don't steal other peoples work or free tutorials, dink around with them and then upload an unfinished complete mess as your finished (and STOLEN) product onto Steam as your own work.

2) Don't attack users who review your unfinished stolen tutorial asset and code game and blame them on needing a new PC in the fashion this developer did who essentially just insulting the user saying they can't afford a decent PC. ..Sighs.

3) Don't set your price so ridiculously high when it's obvious from the screenshots and video that your game isn't of a high enough quality to warrant such a price. When you've done hundreds of hours of work on your own game and code then perhaps, but certainly a $35 price tag for stolen assets and code you've downloaded for FREE off a youtube tutorial link is absurd and will NOT earn you any respect ever.

4) Don't be selling keys on the grey market for your title. A simple google search will easily show that you've taken Steam keys given to you by Steam and sold and/or selling them on the grey market. ..Another personality "asset" that is usually possessed by shady and corrupt indie developers, - just sayin' ;-)

and

5) Don't BAN people from your forums just for saying that your game doesn't look like its worth the price tag or offering to make a video review for you to help you get your game exposed in exchange for a key. This developer BANNED me from his forums before this game launched and deleted the thread quickly for doing just that. It can be seen here:

------------------------------------

TL,DR: Easily one of the worst games I've ever played on Steam. Horrible controls, lighting, physics, tearing of textures, and more. And 100% stolen code and assets from Youtube content creator Virtus on Youtube (linked above).

Avoid, even if the price is dropped to only 99 cents.

This game is a waste of your time even if it were "free", not to mention the low morals of the developer who has been put into question with his first title. We can only hope he doesn't upload any more titles here on Steam after this. ..Can you imagine what he'd charge if he actually coded 5 lines of code himself when he's asking $35 for this which is 100% stolen work from a Youtube tutorial asset link?
