Face 18 different negative emotions. Irritation, Pressure, Loneliness, Distress, Fear, Hatred, Guilt, Confusion, Emptiness, Shame, Frustration, Jealousy, Hopelessness, Anger, Anxiety, Sadness, Panic, Despair, Madness, Depression. Your goal is to overcome them without being defeated.
Overcoming these emotions in real life won't be as easy as the game. However, if you deal with these characterized emotions, you might be able to face them in a much lighter mind in reality, too.

A very good game for how low the price is. It's quite fun yet it doesn't get super difficult until the last few bosses. I highly recommend you buy this game, it's about as cheap as a candy bar after all.
The game in a nutshell is a level based, boss rush SHMUP with a pixel graphic style.
The interesting idea here is that each boss is used as a metaphor for a negative emotion that the player must overcome.
Gameplay loop is very simple - defeat the boss to unlock the next one.
There are no power-ups, you get one life and there is no progression system of any kind.
Interestingly enough, what it lacks in feature wealth it makes up for in it's charm.
Can honestly say this is the most addictive SHMUP I've ever played.
For the price of approximately an hour's fun (the time it took me to get the game's one and only achievement) I'd say there are far worse places to bung a buck.

This is a Shooter in Retrostyle where u insta face a boss each level. Every boss is the manifistation of one of ur bad emotions like fear, hate, despair, panic, lonlyness, anxiety, jealosy etc.
Unfortunately there is only 1 soundtrack but its not bad at all. Its a melancholy pianotrack which fits somehow to the game.

i really liked this game. It explained a lot about certain mental disorders in a very interesting way. Despite it being a challenge to beat each level, it also made sense as to why. It's a challenge to get past the certain problems. This game is it's own sort of unique and really showed the developers really knew what they were doing.
Its a pretty simplistic shmup. If you want something on the lighter scale compared to say a Touhou title maybe check it out.
It's a great game. It is short but good.
The atmosphere of the game is quite good

Love this game and the message behind it ! Even if some levels were frustrating, I'm so pumped now to deal with my emotions in real life ! It won't be that easy but as said in the description : "you might be able to face them in a much lighter mind in reality, too."
It's worth the price and I hope to see more other games from this editor/indie dev !
The only complain I've got is the lack of music. There is only one song but hey ! At least you can use Youtube and then listening to some epic music when battling your emotions !
I guess this project is pretty good for indie-game but it should be modified. For example, creator can add options. So-o-o... "in My MIND" will help you pass the time. Short but not boring game. I hope that developer will continue to develope this project (and make new ones). 7/10. Good luck.

My complaints:
1) Game is too short and while challenging, there just isn't enough content here and no replay value once you beat it
2) No ability to make the game full screen, no resolution options at all, no gamepad options, no audio options
3) Being forced to use the arrow keys & the Z key to shoot isn't ideal. There's a ton of WASD gamers left out here
4) No power-ups, No score, No achievements, No rewards for succeeding or beating the game, Blah. Zzzzz
It's a good enough first title on Steam for the developer(s), but I just feel like if they are going to ask money for their game that a little more work.. and little more passion should be put into the game.. and also felt when a player plays their game. I firmly believe they have the talent to give us full screen options and WASD controls and much more but they just got lazy in the end... and it shows. I know it's only a dollar, but I shouldn't feel like I'm getting half a loaf of bread when I buy it.
6 out of 10. Recommended but only for the most hardcore retro shooter game lovers out there. There's just much better options, even for the same price right here on Steam. ..Still a good enough first effort to keep an eye on what this developer makes next or if they show us they care enough to give us the most basic of options like a full screen and WASD controls.
