This game is top notch, buy it.

abandoned, bear bones, dead. Why can't I have more than 40 fish in a pond? why can't I connect more to my medium generator than I connect to my small generator?

I really like this game, i do. but..
you have to love grinding. you realllly do.
Once you get into it its by no means difficult, but its tideous, and slow, and all you do is grind.
There are WAAAYYY too few workers to maintain half the ponds you need, and they dont repair fast enough so everything is always broken and fish die, very tideous
Barely any story, is you can call the random conversations that..
I cannot give it a thumbs up.
Easy to get the achievements tho, but it takes FOREVER

the game is fun and relaxing. good for kids as learning media. I love the fish species. it s common in my country.
I love the breeding system too.

what i dont like is: when you are progressing the story, you will be getting busy and the things getting tedious. so many micromanagement.
my advice is make some new job assignment, or option in the pond menu like auto fill pond with certain fish and auto drain and fill water for certain periods of time.

- Super chill auto pilot game, kind of like an afk farming sim with more interaction.
- Easy to 100% Achievements
- It's really not challenging at all, but it's also not too mundane, there's always something to do and when you don't feel like doing one thing you can just do several others.

- Price is decent and worth it for the content involved, it's easy to sink hours into it with the achievements and unlocks.
The update to unlock everything through multiple people being certain levels elevated the game entirely, especially since most of the achievements are tied to selling certain fish higher up in the chain.

- There's a few bugs here and there, nothing that really breaks your game or makes it unplayable. (usual with any game)

- Money could have been harder to obtain, once you unlock the market which is around 20 minutes into the game you're pretty much set from selling 1-2 lots of fish every now and again.

- The unlock chart is hard to see some times, there's a zoom option which helps but when you want to unlock certain things It's hard to see the little people images and know which is what, but everything is connected with lines in the chart which you can just follow anyway.

- Dev's are quite active in the discussions and seem pretty nice from interactions.

Cons;
- Some flashing
- Some lag here and there that requires a restart, doesn't happen often though.(haven't had the game crash yet)
- Some minor bugs
- Fishing Pond wants/needs reset 15th/30th every month but a little reminder or image at the top of the screen would be ideal.

I played a bit on first release and it was much different, It's really nice to see how much it has grown yet keep the main build of the game there.
Can definitely see this game being decent on Nintendo Switch and SteamDeck.

Not bad, a decent sim/light strategy game.
Good content, simple but nice graphics, easy at the start, more complex later.
A 6.5 on 10, as the selling price is maybe a little too high for the final product.

I beat Career mode in about 4 hours. For a not fully released $10 game I feel like that's not too bad. I haven't yet played Sandbox mode, but I can tell there is MUCH more content that would keep anyone more entertained for a significant amount of time. Career mode ends at the 3rd town folk who gives you requests. I saw in Sandbox mode there was a few more people, as well as an entire breeding section for content. I think this game is well worth the $10 right now. As long as development continues, I have a feeling this will be a huge hit.

I really betted on this game since I saw some reviews that this is an abandoned game but surprisingly this is a d*mn good game! I love how easy the controls, how it will let you figure-out the quality of the fishes (well they're in the tutorial but I'm too excited to play the game).

I am really excited to unlock all of the features and I will not give up on this game as I saw that the developers still reply in the community.

I hope they release this on MAC OS too and Nintendo Switch. This is something that I will buy on every console that I have.

Two words come to mind when I think of this game: satisfying and addictive.

I have to admit I found it hard to figure out at times (like some of the generators seemed to break constantly and with the current staff limit, it made it hard to keep up with - however, a complete overhaul of my layout to improve pathing did fix this) and especially at the start but once you get into it, I find you just can't stop!!

For anyone achievement hunting, there is currently a bit of a grind to get the achievements of 500kg fish sold for the fish unlocked later, though I have to admit it may have been a bit more grindy for me because I had to rearrange a lot of my fish farm for this (I do wish the plot of land was a bit bigger!).

Overall, very much enjoy this game! I know development is currently on hold but I did see a dev update saying they might start developing again soon so will leave as positive review for now. I think this game has a lot of potential - not to mention I think the graphics are very charming!

really nice chill game, very similar to other pixel-art farming games such as stardew valley, but has enough differences to set itself apart, excited to see new updates and fish in the game!

The game isn't very fleshed out and hasn't been updates in years. The campaign is terribly scaled and the quests are not integrated well.

They released an update today. They have officially given up. Little to not tweaks and changes, with no additional content. My review remains a no if this is how they leave the game. Their update can be summarized as" We know the game isn't finished, but we're abandoning it as it is. Please give us more money in the future mmkay bye"

Game review: a mediocre game that tries to give a rough understanding of fish farming.

the game is great and i look forward to the development team coming back to give us a well deserved update its such a great game and the fact that they have promise to return to it has given me much hope and excitement to see were it leads story and gameplay wise keep up the good work guys

Great, unique farming sim. I have never played Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon or any other farming sims before this one, but I like fishing and fish so I thought I'd give it a try. It's addictive and fun. A work in progress, as the developers point out when you open it up, but a well worth the money at this point. I look forward to seeing what comes next!

I reccommend this game though I would say know what you're getting into. This is a great little management game but it is early access and so it's a little light on content. It can be slow/repetitive at times.

That being said, I get alot of enjoyment from Aquaculture Land. There is something really satisfying to the structure of the gameplay and I like how in depth the needs of the fish are. Out of my library this is the game I complete for a while, then find myself thinking of a few months later and jumping back on to play. I get just as much enjoyment out of it as my first playthrough. It's very relaxing but there's an element of planning, upgrading and designing your layouts, even though it has a chill feel to it. I dabble with alot of early access stuff and some of it can be a bit disappointing, or sometimes I feel I back a game too early for proper enjoyment personally, or sometimes the control scheme is way off what I expected and the controls don't mesh well with me. But this one I really feel is a gem in the rough and I am very happy with it. I'm trying to think if I've encountered any bugs since I bought it but it's surprisingly polished so it's been quite a smooth experience for me personally. The main downside is it can be a bit grindy.

This game has a ton of potential. Really relaxing, really interesting. The music is great. The art is good and fits the feeling of the game. This is absolutely wonderful as one of those chill games you play to just relax and enjoy.

I am enjoying the game enough to give a recommendation but there are definitely some things that can and I think will be addressed to improve the game. The beginning of the game introduces everything at a reasonable pace and really picks up after unlocking research upgrades and the fish market, essentially giving you the freedom to make money very efficiently and quickly. Once you unlock a few things you start to realize that unlocking things really takes too long and needs to be adjusted, this is because its vendor reputation locked, and that earned experience is slow to accrue. If the developers read this I would suggest adding a currency similar to breeding points for overriding the reputation locks, for example: every 100 fish sold give 1 point, research level 1 would cost 5 to override the reputation locks. I really want to progress through and I hope I can but it can feel discouraging. Maybe additional perks for every reputation level could increase the speed of leveling them up while remaining balanced. Hopefully the developers can keep moving forward and make this rough cut gem into a polished diamond.

Good game but need some improvement.

1. Request list should be more streamlined that player can see 6 requests at a time.
(I scroll the list continually for checking my requests)

2. Finish requests at Town map if you have enough fishes in storage ,
(I take the request , close the screen , scroll the list , click the request , finally deliver the fishes which already in my storage. That's annoying.)

3. Always show the shortage of fishes by each requests at list.
(If you have some fishes in storage , list will show the shortage ;but if you have none, list will tell you nothing.}

4. Highlight the requests which you have no fishes in pond.
(Some fish looks similarly when you zoom out ,like Mozambique & Nile Tilapia. I make mistakes several times by farming wrong fish.)

5. It's hard to sail the pond if you just want to expend 1 row/column , even 1 block.

6. Water should have different colors.

Really like the game so far (5.3 hrs played at time of review) and here are a few key things. For one this game can be micro-managey or they've given you the option to automate nearly everything. I really like this feature and the choice they give you. The game is easy to pick up and play, it runs pretty well with very minor stutters/lag when you have a lot of stuff on screen and 2x speed. My system includes an I5-6400, GTX-970, 16gb DDR4 ram, 1 TB HDD. Overall this game has a lot of potential and I played it for 5 hours straight after buying it. For the price, you really can't complain too much. It also seems like the devs are active and planning to update the game as there are grayed out features such as a career mode and a tech tree. Worth checking out for sure!

I think this will be ok after a polish up, no objectives which would be nice but hopefully this will all come along during updates. I would also have preferred better graphics but again this may come later. It's a chilled out game, build a pond, grow fish, maintain it and sell the fish when they have grown enough. Its a good price too.

this game has potential, the art is not top notch, music is just looping same over and over. i hope they will digging more ideas and added some deep shit story.
