Alien Hominid Invasion

I bought this game fried and i only play it fried 10 out of 10

Imagine you go to Yocco's with "The Ramen", then imagine you get there and it's closed. That pretty much sums up this game.

I will give it points for the animation, the reference to the original game in one of the cutscenes, and the final boss music.

one of the best games i played in a while i love how the game make everything colorful and the guns are also amazing i really recommend getting this game.

Took me a second to get it but OMG this is such a fun game only elevated with a friend. Classic Behemoth humor that just tickles my funny bone and tight fun gameplay. Highly recommend!

I played with a steam controller as they recommend a controller.
It's a side scrolling bullet hell. And you have very limited angles of attack 85 degrees up, 45 degrees down and directly left/right. A dodge roll with a few seconds cool down. The 3rd boss is where I had to put the game down seemed built to play against the control limitations.

Not much else to it. Not a bad game but not for me. Have said that, I am still looking forward to see what else The Behemoth comes out with next.

Full of action, and brings back the nostalgic Flash Game & Newgrounds vibes.
Amazing art, music, and visuals overall as usual.
Best sequel of this game you could ask for basically && is very re-playable since the aliens went rogue.
And just like the originals, can be super challenging.

they tried to turn alien hominid into a looter shooter roguelite(??) which maybe could have worked, but the combat just sucks and the levels are really repetitive. the art and animation is really good tho

Great for friends, I personally love it. The original Alien Hominid was a little too difficult at times cuz I'm a casual but this game is easier without making the game seem likes its for babies. Also the customization rocks

I actually had fun playing alien hominid invasion. 100% worth the 20$ when it was cheap. I recommend anyone to play this game if you love chaos and destruction. (even has bapi bapi bapi bapi bobbbbbbb)

The Behemoth Doesn't Make Sequels

It's a mixed bag. I found the game a lot of fun with friends, but it's only got about 2 hours worth of content. You do runs which net you coins and loot. You get hats, mods, and colors which provide different stats- and you get different guns. There is an issue where it's hard to tell where you are because there are way too many VFX on screen at one time. Overall worth a buy if you can get it for $10 or less.

Finished Alien Hominid Invasion, I really like this Studio’s games due to being playable newgrounds cartoons and the cutscenes able to convey a lot without dialogue and the humor definitely hits. The rougelite gameplay starts off a little brain dead and repetitive being given tasks to do in the level and doing certain things and this certain mechanic comes into play where the longer you are in a level you are presented with more armor enemies and stage hazards and tests your dodging and avoiding projectiles. This is where the game actually starts being more fun since there’s more to worry about in the run and more to interact with in terms of challenge and gets really tougher as you go on.

The Loot gameplay loop is actually pretty enticing as you are presented with a lot of buffs and debuffs and it makes you consider your gameplay style and what you want to prioritize. There are plenty like boosting regen in health, jump height, defenses, etc and actually really makes a difference in a run and lets change mid run for a particular level or boss. The Weapons have great variety in terms of use with bullets, energy, melee, and elementals. Certain weapons need to reload and I found the best weapons to use are the ones you don’t reload and being able to charge it for bigger attacks helps with tougher enemies. It also gives you a choice of boosts and special abilities that can definitely be game changers in certain situations and can aid you along with costumes that have stat changes.

Bosses at the end of the run can range from challenging to frustrating depending on how well you can react to their attack patterns and which weapon you’re using to deal damage effectively since it really does make a difference. They can definitely be really tough if you are not rolling enough and don’t have certain perks.

While the game can become somewhat repetitive after completing all the levels and defeating every enemy type, it is still a highly fun, arcade-style side-scrolling shooter. A real fun time for newcomers to the genre, or those returning after a break, as the game offers a fun and easy to learn gameplay mechanics. Playing the entire game in two-player couch co-op was an absolute blast, making my time even more enjoyable.

read the negative reviews for this game. they thoroughly explain what to more or less actually expect from the game, especially when the majority of positive reviews are less than 2 sentences long or contain nothing more than "bapi bapi ba". personally i don't have an issue with Invasion and i usually get put in the mood to play this after playing the original Alien Hominid (which is a certified hood classic)

well 8.5/10 one of the best behemoth games PLAY AS AN ALIEN destroy the PLANET! explode...ROBOTS!!!! the gameplay is fun and random but......YOU CAN COLECT HATS .!!!!! did you remember alien himinid HD ??? well this game is...X2 BETTER! The game is AMAZING

This game was very fun for the first couple hours, but then you realize that what you've played is all the game has to offer. All the bosses get recycled numerous times, all the levels feel identical to one another, and this game's idea of difficulty scaling is just spamming twice as many enemies every stage.

I love the behemoth, but they really missed with this one.

I like how you can just zone out and shoot the agents. Games are getting so serious these days, this game feel like a good breather from that. i just wish there was more of a player base for the game. a lot of the game is based on co-op and nobody really plays. bummer.

It's just... boring and repetitive, gameplay is too chaotic, with little skill to put in as enemies, bullets, modifiers, etc. feels absolutely random, you can hardly tell where you're going to get shot from. Can't force myself to like it (even though I loved all Behemoth projects so far).

this game is just as good as all the other behemoth games game play is fast paste and feels great sometimes the tasks the mothership gives you can get a little repetitive but the different weapons and enemies make it still feel new every run there is a plethora of ways to make your own build unique and fun along with the huge customization options the art is great as always when it comes to behemoth games same with the humor

Games a lot of fun, I definitely recommend it. This game reminds me of an old arcade game vibe for some reason.
