Peace has come to Camelot, but danger always lurks around the corner! It's time to make new allies to guard against any future threats. As the Royal Druid Mallard, can you secure an alliance between King Arthur and the Queen of the Elves, to ensure that both Camelot and the wilds of Avalon are mutually protected?
The Druids of Avalon channel the forces of nature through their magic cards, using them to weave powerful spells of growth and healing. There are rules to their magic, however, and the cards must be placed in the correct order by a careful hand in order to function.
Elves are notoriously difficult to find, so to ensure communication between them and Camelot, you'll need to persuade them to settle down in a fixed location. That means building a city! It's a monumental task, but luckily you have the power of the cards to aid you.
Are you the hero both Camelot and the Elves need? Then get shuffling! Simultaneously relaxing and challenging, Avalon Solitaire 3 features 250 levels, 32 power-ups, 39 buildings to construct and reap benefits from, plus wild cards, jokers, hazards and more, making it a must-play for solitaire fans!

- Harness the power of 32 unique power-ups!

Great Game
A solitaire game with 250 levels to solve.
I did not find it particularly hard, but then when I was almost done with the game I figured out you can actually buy upgrades which made the game ridiculously easy. But Ignoring that (you can just not buy/use the upgrades if you don't care about the achievements and you will be just fine) it is a really nice solitaire game.
Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (Proton 7.0-1).
Absorbing solitaire. many levels.
It's a lot more challenging than 2. The bandit and hedge cards frustrate me.
I enjoyed AND relaxed with this game. Medievel/Fantasy theme with some really nice touches to make Solitair more interesting. Some nice chill music and overall just a fun game that can throw you into ZEN mode.
Looking forward to part 4, hopefully a bit more balanced and more difficulties.
It's relaxing, pleasant fun-- I have played the previous 2 games in the series, and they are all good-- #2 & #3 are the best-- more and different 'challenges'.
If you like solitaire games I would highly recommend this one and the second one.
But, will not the first one.
I was just searching for "card games" and I found this along the way. I occasionally love a no-brainer casual game and I immediately loved the idea of playing solitaire in a beautiful environment such as provided in the screenshots.
On very first play, I was happy. The game beat my expectations. I love the art and the sound. The effects are very smooth and pleasing to the eye. I can tell that great care was taken to make everything perfectly balanced.
I had no idea that the game comes with a sort of background mission of building up your village and collecting new magic powers along the way, but it was all a pleasant surprise which adds a bit of fun to the usual monotony of a solitaire game.
Nice background music.
9/10
Of the many +1/-1 solitaire games I've played on Steam, this one is the best. The second game in this series was very good, and so I expected no less from this one.
What makes it the best are the card layouts in each level, the interesting board modifiers, the diverse array of upgrades, the city-building aspect, and the pacing.
The card layouts are never simply stacks of cards, as in traditional klondike solitaire, but often include spirals and interesting overlaps that encourage you to prioritize accordingly to complete the stage.
The board modifiers include suit locks (which are not withdrawn until you've removed a certain number of cards of a certain suit or suits), cards that add cards to the board (if not removed within a certain time period), and cards that add bushes onto other cards (you must then play the card twice to remove it - once to clear the bushes).
There are many pages of upgrades, and many of the upgrades are useful. Some add time to the aforementioned timers (that add cards or bushes to existing cards), some remove cards from the board upon starting each level, some provide additional resources upon level completion, etc. You'll need to build certain structures before additional upgrades are unlocked.
This brings us to the city-building mechanics. Just as in Avalon Legends Solitaire 2, completing each level provides food and wood in addition to gold, the standard currency. As you accumulate resources, you'll spend them to construct various buildings in the city. Some buildings will produce additional food or wood to collect between levels, while others (as mentioned above) will unlock features or upgrades for purchase. The market is a brilliant feature in the game, which allows you to exchange gold for either food or wood, or vice versa. The market gives the player the feeling of intentionally pursuing the construction of certain buildings, even if you'll eventually build them all anyway.
I completed all of the buildings in the city when I was about halfway through the levels. However, if you play on the hard difficulty, this might take a bit more time. From this point until the end of the game, I was working on various achievements, such as creating especially long card combos or acquiring 7x score multipliers in each stage. Up until the very end of the game, I always had something I was working on - some outside goal in addition to completing the stage in question.
The only negative aspect of the title is the length of some of the animations, although this is admittedly nit-picky. When you remove the card that adds bushes to a level or achieve a 7x score multiplier, you're treated to a rather lengthy animation. I often found myself trying to click cards and continue playing while the animation was still active, but I had to continue waiting. I didn't often achieve the 7x multiplier, but I removed the bush-adding card in many, many levels.
If you enjoy +1/-1 solitaire games, this is about as good as it gets. Developer Anawiki Games has really nailed the form.
This is a nice one up/one down solitaire game.
There is plenty to do with aiming to construct buildings to get more food/wood and gold.
Also many boosters to buy to help complete your hand with 3 stars.
Nice achievements, backgrounds are pretty but not distracting. I have music turned off so cannot comment on that but overall this is a 5 star card game of it's type.
it's just like avalon legends solitaire 2, except it hardly has any music, only some ambient noise, while the previous game had a relatively nice soundtrack, and this one features special cards that can be really annoying, especially when they make a level impossible to solve, only restarting helps. and even though I completed the final level (#250, the previous one had 300), the game didn't play the outro for some reason.
long story short, avalon legends 2 was great, one of the best solitiares on steam, but this is a step backwards in every way, don't bother.
I loved the 2 previous Avalon Legends Solitaire games and played this one through on my first plythrough in hard mode and I have to say they made the power ups too easy to get and use in this for it to have any difficulty at all. It made it boring and easy. I never had to repeat a single level to beat it except for the one I repeated 5 times on purpose to get an achievement. I feel like they tried to add to the gameplay with the power-ups and took away from it. I suppose you could choose not to use them, but when they are there its hard not to, at first I was using them to get the achievements that required them and then I just had so much extra money there was nothing to do with it. If I had played in normal mode that would have been ok, but I expected hard mode to be at least kind of hard. The previous game had levels I had to replay quite a few times in hard mode to pass. That's why I can't recommend this one. I love the others and found this one boring. (Also, if you're wondering about the length of the game my hours played aren't a true representation of how long a straight palythough would take. I leave the game open in the backgroud while I do other things and play when I have free time. I would guess it took me maybe 10 hours of actual play time)
Same concept of the previous one, destroy the forest and create a city lol. The achievements are kind of tough to get unless you use powerups, but near the end of the game is where you have enough money to start cranking them out. The 5x/7x multiplier bonus animation is annoyingly long and you have to wait for it to vanish. Is it strange that I find the sounds of the breaking cards oddly satisfying? :D
Took roughly 12 hours to get 3 stars in every single level, most without using powerups. Can't wait for part 4 to come out :)
played in 2 parts, liked the game, waited for part 3, throws out of the game, it's impossible to play, developers do something, please
This is a fun, relaxing game. The solitaire is interesting enough, and the plot... well, it is cool. Much of the gameplay appears to me to be a solitaire-version of the Cradle games (where-in you play levels to acquire resources and the like to build/rebuild a city/castle...
Anyway, I would suggest acquiring the game through a bundle and/or on discount.
If you liked Alalon Legends 2, you'll like this one. Same concept with a few new twists but the same solitaire city builder it was. Finished building around 180 levels so the rest is just getting stars and upgrades.
