This is a Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game, meaning a specific genre of story-driven, point & click adventures. Throughout the game, players are tasked to find a list of objects hidden within a particular scene, and to occasionally complete various mini-games/puzzles.

Voices are very good in a silly way for all the characters, boat captain guy is peak. Collectible feature is pretty cool where you have to take pictures of wildlife you find. A rare Big Fish game with Steam achievements. The wild experience of the voice acting, bizarre story, and decent/laid back puzzles make this a great introduction to the HOG genre for a first time HOG gamer.

Entertaining... but not the evolution of fire!
The game is okay, but not a hit. The story is pretty campy, sadly, because they could have done a lot better.
With regards to the other two games, this probably is the best in the series... Even though the story is... well funny describes it pretty well - for that matter.
I mean, it's just a HOG/point-and-click game.
Was it an absolute trash fire? Nope.
Would I recommend it over other HOGs? Probably not.
Would I recommend it at full price? Nope, go look for something else on sale.
Did it keep me entertained for a few hours? Sure.
The story is silly, but they usually are in these games. The setting is cool (pun intended), there's a good mix of HO scenes and puzzles. There were a few I found tedious, but you don't have to do every single one to get the achievements, just most of them. It's a pretty standard HOG, not the best, but still fun.
