If you like Where's Waldo? and hidden cats game, you will appreciate this one. Handrawn backgrounds, mouth made sounds, everything looks cozy here. Levels alternate between little and big places, and some of them can be scary, and indeed some characters are very hard to find, but if you read carefully the hints, all of them are findable (about that, bravo to the french translation to keep the fun and the sense of these hints).
fun, worth the price
Amazing game, still very much love it.
very satisfying where's wally
More people need to play this game, I appreciate games that bring a different perspective to what a game is. This game reinvented the hidden object genre. 10/10
Amazing game!
If you were into the Where's Wally? series this game is for you. It does not have colorful levels, it is all black and white, you can choose the color background though, which to me, adds an additional layer of difficulty. Trying to find small objects in a world where everything is just black and white is very challenging. It does have funny sounds which are human made, and that makes it silly and funny, to my taste, I enjoy it.
From the Beaches to the Cities, you'll find all sorts of interesting people doing interesting things. Armed with only a action shot and a short quip, can you find Andrew (a man "going no where") and Keke (a monkey "with her in the clouds") and even a golf ball ("who is feeling weighed down") and many more on your list of who's who and what's what?
Hidden Folks is a hidden object game with a simple twist. Instead of an object name and a one-screen image, you are given a real-time image of the target and short description of the current state of the person or thing. For example, if you were asked to find Rhonda "who is a little too close to nature", you might look for a person in a precarious spot, like near lions or a cliff. If you need to find Rob "who is shy about his new bathing suit", you would probably need to open some changing rooms. These descriptors are very helpful because unlike your typical hidden object games, most levels in Hidden Folks are gigantic, sprawling landscapes, with some light puzzle focused ones interspersed occasionally.
Its a very charming game. The art style is simple and clean, a major boon considering the purposefully cluttered level design. The descriptions are vague enough to present some difficulty but never unfair. The levels all have some light animation to elevate the liveliness in the already chaotic worlds. It's just a very well designed game that gets right up on the line of "jam-packed chaos" without stepping over into "over-sensory, unclear mess". The settings are also well-designed, including multiple languages, color schemes, interface size/location and more.
Few complaints. There is no hint system outside of the short line you're given, meaning if you get stuck, you are VERY stuck. The sounds are all mouth-originated, so they add to the soft, comfy feeling of the game, but can be grating, especially when you are trying to find the last object or locate the right tree/bush/grasspatch and end up clicking a lot.
9/10. A unique and iconic hidden object game.
👍
A gamer walks into a game, loses something and has to find it again.
I have played a lot of Hidden Object games. Hidden Folks is by far one of the most challenging HO games that I've ever played. The scenes are packed and humorous. It's fun to look at everything while searching. I recommend this game. Great for audiences 10+ in my opinion. 11/10
Hidden Folks was a surprising joy of a game. It's somewhat frustrating at first when exploring a massive map and going down long clue trails only to find a hidden object that is not, in fact, the objective. Eventually that turned into part of the enjoyment - realizing how much love and attention the developers put into this game. Even the end credits were fun to explore through!
Definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel game!
Hidden Folks truly feels like a labour of love. Delightful little hidden object game, where the in-game hints give you just enough direction to be able to find the tiny people by yourself (though admittedly I did need a guide a few times when I just couldn't quite figure out a puzzle).
This game is both super cool, and supper distressing! lol I love looking for the folks it asked you to find, however... the graphics are EXTREMELY tiny. You could have your nose on the screen and still struggle to make stuff out. Only complaint, the sound effects are funny and super cute.
I've finally beaten the game 100%!
I have played this game for the first time in 2020, and loved it from the very start. Simple in terms of artstyle, yet nicely paced and fantastic in difficulty (not too hard, not too easy). I love the little interactions within different scenes and found the variety in maps refreshing. The sounds are all person-made, which I personally appreciate since it adds a little something extra. I'm playing through the game again lately with my partner (who is English) in Dutch so he can practise the language through the hints. Very sweet and wholesome, can totally recommend!
If you suffer of migraines or are photo sensitive or get triggered by mouth sounds I wouldn't recommend this game.
I really wanted to like it, I tried to get through multiple levels, but the brightness and contrast hurt my eyes and felt more annoying than relaxing, and the mouth sounds didn't help. I expected relaxing music, but theres no music, just someone making mouth sounds on your ears. Sadly I can't stand any of that. But I can acknowledge at least that it's a cute funny well made game.
Even tho some gameplay mechanics felt a little like a waste of time like having many plants to cut or trees to dig into just to find nothing, I expected a lil more of the "interactivity" than just "click here for nothing". To find a joke or something funny or cute would at least give some meaning but when you move a plant just to find "unrelated useless copy paste guy X" for the 9th time it starts getting a lil old.
I love this game so much, if you liked ISpy and Waldo as a kid this is for you. The sound effects are also so fun and elevate the game so much. Worth every penny.
very cute and simple search and find game.
Yeahhhh!
At first it was fun listening to all of the noises combing out of that goofballs mouth,
and trying to find the matching pictures. So much fun.
But then it got boring and annoying.
I'd recommend it for someone who is bored and looking to kill time.
The simultaneously cutest and most hilarious game I've played. It's a clickable "Where's Waldo", but with mouth sounds and really intricate and detailed maps full of excentric characters doing god knows what with their socks, falling asleep in the most inconvenient places and making friends with alligators.
If you enjoy some casual, relaxing and fun puzzle games from time to time, this one sure is for you! I completed the whole game in less than 15 hours and it was a blast. The sounds are very satisfying so I found myself just clicking on trees to enjoy the whoosh. Easy 100% achievement too.
Hidden folks is so cute! That is its 1 charm.
I have played so many hidden picture games, and I have never played one I enjoyed less than hidden folks.
The maps are sometimes HUGE. I mean, beyond what I've ever seen anywhere else. So big you could never possibly see it all in one shot. This leads to a lot of unnecessary panning around and seeing/doing literally nothing. This wouldn't be such an issue, except the people are so numerous and so similar that it's like you're playing a really impossible version of where's waldo, where you have to walk through the many rooms of a building to see the portions of the map. The monochrome makes it really difficult, not just to find folks, but to look at for a while. I turned the brightness down and it helped, but still, if it didn't take 1+ hour to do every map it wouldn't be such an issue.
Additionally, some of the objects are super small or need some sort of puzzle to complete, which is fine, but there's so much map and no hints, so I have spent a lot of time clicking caves to see the inhabitant, but oop, I'm not looking for them. There are so many cutesy time wasting mechanics in this game that it gives a very grindy, I'm using your location data for money, Pokemon GO type of feeling.
I would like to believe I'm being harsh or difficult, but the global achievements speak for themselves- I've never seen a hidden picture game with such abysmal stats on the board.
Achievement hunters BEWARE.
Finally, I take issue with the difficulty from level to level- some have a manageable sized map and are challenging but fun. Some are brainless, help the car drive through the town, finish it in 1 minute flat levels. And some are 8000X8000 pixel pictures of people dressed and drawn the same with endless window trimmings to open, holes to dig up, and puzzles to solve.
Can't we make every level somewhere between brainless and too darn big?
In conclusion, I cannot stress this enough, do not buy this game!
It has good reviews but IDK how, because the global stats show most people do not play much of this game at all. It is somehow one of the most expensive hidden object games in the market. How?
This plays like some grad students had fun working on their coding skills, and fun for the player was not considered.
life is simple when playing this game. 10/10 makes me feel like a kid again :)
Pretty cool design. Sounds are funny and original. Only ("negative") thing I would say is that game can easily makes my vision hurt for focusing to search.
First of all, a very beautiful and entertaining puzzle-solving game with extraordinary sounds.
No matter how beautiful it is, I encountered three issues while playing the game.
1st: The Turkish translation was done very poorly. Because of this, I switched the game language to English.
2nd: Some hints had 'TODO:' written, but they didn't actually explain what needed to be done.
3rd and final issue: Instead of a hint, there was a message saying 'undefined'. (If I hadn't researched the forums and seen the comment {After changing Windows region and format to English - United States, everything seems to work.}, I would have uninstalled the game and forgotten about it halfway through.)
Despite these three issues, the game truly delivers in terms of fun and beauty. I’ll be looking forward to the next part.
Thank you for such a great game!
Hidden Folks was okay, the art style and sound design are excellent and it was a fun time. It was a bit tedious and hard to see in some of the larger levels however. But on the whole a very enjoyable game.
Surprisingly pretty good. love the challenge. Tips are very helpful while not giving away too much. and the mouth sounds are hilarious at times. it's a fun game to have.

I love this game so much. So many little details. The sounds and charm and care are great. My favorite way to play is on a touchscreen with my partner <3
This game was fun and challenging. I like the little noises the characters make. The artwork is fun. I would definitely recommend this game! I would love for more puzzles!!
This is a fun and clever seek and find game.
Honestly the silly sound effects alone make it worth playing this game. I like spam clicking an object to chuckle at the sound it makes. I love the sometimes riddle-like clues, the awesome illustrations (and that a lot of objects are interactive like opening the toilet door on someone or turning off the music and seeing everyone stop dancing!), great variety of levels/locations. Hours and hours of fun!
Outstanding and good brain tease
yep, I think it's a great game :-)
even after it blinded me a little more and caused me stress reactions for not finding the damn mushroom under a rock inside a cauldron inside some room in some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ place in the map, lol

I am very happy to have found this "Hidden Gem" of a game. The love and care given by the makers is palpable, and I cannot recommend it enough as a fun little game to chill with.
How to enjoy playing Hidden Folks:
1 - Only play during daytime
2 - Make sure your glasses are well adjusted to your need
3 - If they aren't, contact your local optician
I like the game I hope that they make a Hidden Folks 2 .
love it
An Interactive wheres waldo/ hidden object game, That's Animated and all the sounds are done vocally.
Would recommend.
6/10
Addictive. The sound is hilarious. The animations are fun. Some of the screens are overwhelmingly large. Use the clues for help.
I like it! The challenge and hints are well-balanced. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the audio—I’m not fond of the mouth sounds used for the "audio effects."
one of the better interactive hidden object games 10/10
The best hidden objects game I've played.
Hidden folks is a brilliant hidden objects game with lots of levels and loving parts. It also has brilliant sound effects and I can highly recommend it! Played nicely on steam deck too! 💖
It can be a bit clueless with it's clues, but overall it's a fun waste of time.
You'd probably know if you like this from the game's page. Fun little worlds with lots of little details and gags for you to explore while you find things. The sound design is especially fun. Could probably be tedious if it's not your thing but it's a sweet little relaxing game.
Fun little Game of hide and seek.
Basically a Where's Waldo game. I got that same feeling of assembling a jigsaw puzzle, where you have to look hard to find the pieces that will fit. The art is cute and effective and the sound effects, all made of mouth sounds are funny. I wish the game could have some sort of a chill soundtrack, but it has none at all. Otherwise a relative simple, straightforward and no-fluff game, which I appreciate.
